Abstract: A method of treating snoring among two users includes determining that snoring by at least one of the users is occurring, and responsive thereto, either: (a) determining that only one of the at least two users is snoring and responsive thereto generating a signal to produce an anti-snoring motion in an active pillow associated with the one user and generating another signal to produce a distracting motion in another active pillow associated with the other user; or (b) determining that both of the users are snoring and responsive thereto generating signals to produce anti-snoring motions in each of the active pillows.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for automated, fast lung pulse detection are provided. In an embodiment, a system for detecting pneumothorax (PTX) includes an ultrasound probe in communication with a processor. The processor is configured to generate, using the ultrasound imaging data received from the ultrasound probe, an M-mode image including a pleural line of the lung. Using the M-mode image, the processor generates a difference image comprising a plurality of difference lines generated by subtracting adjacent samples of the M-mode image. The processor analyzes the difference image to determine whether the difference image includes a periodic signal corresponding to the heartbeat of the patient and outputs a graphical representation of detecting the lung pulse based on determining that the difference image includes the periodic signal corresponding to the heartbeat.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for real-time feature level software security are described herein. A request may be received from a computing device for data from the feature of the software application. The request for data may include authorization information of a user of the computing device. It may be identified that the feature of the software application contains code containing a reference to a security configuration service. A security configuration may be determined for the feature of the software application by comparing a resource identifier and a feature identifier of the feature of the software application to a set of security configurations of the security configuration service. The security configuration may provide access rules for the feature of the software application. A response may be sent to the computing device based on a comparison of the received authorization information of the user of the computing device to the determined security configuration.

Abstract: A method for providing high-speed storage and retrieval of information from a plurality of sources is disclosed. The method includes retrieving data from the sources; identifying a deterministic perfect hash function based on the retrieved data for stock symbols and corresponding stock information, the perfect hash function relating to a mapping of distinct elements in the corresponding stock information with the stock symbols; generating, by using the retrieved data, a parameter that relates to an instruction to calculate the identified perfect hash function, the parameter including a host file, a simulation file, and a hash state file; programming a register and a memory that are associated with the processor by using the parameter; and determining, via the programmed register and the programmed memory, a hash value for incoming stock symbols, the hash value relating to a symbol index that locates information corresponding to the incoming stock symbols.

The sidelink feedback indicates for a data transmission a successful or non-successful reception at the receiving UE. The transmitting UE reports the sidelink feedback to a base station. The base station provides to the transmitting UE, responsive to the sidelink feedback, sidelink resources for a possible retransmission of a data packet over the sidelink to the receiving UE. The reporting of the sidelink feedback to the base station by the transmitting UE is activated or deactivated responsive to one or more conditions.

Orientation guidance may be generated that indicates repositioning of the object in the image. It may be determined that the discrepancy between the orientation of the object in the image has been eliminated. Capture guidance may be generated for output via the device based on a set of commands determined based on detection of an operating system executing on the device.

Abstract: A method of authenticating a user via a galvanic skin response on electric computing device is described. The method includes receiving a request for user authentication from a second electronic computing device. The electronic computing device measures a change in the galvanic skin response associated with the user, and the change in the galvanic skin response is indicative of the user creating a physical connection between the electronic computing device and the second electronic computing device. The electronic computing device compares the galvanic skin response to a threshold skin conductance level. When the comparison of the galvanic skin response indicates, an authentication confirmation is sent to the second electronic computing device.

These summaries may be used by customer service associates, analysts, or other users to quickly determine both topics discussed and contexts of those topics over a large corpus of text. For example, a corpus of documents may be related to customer complaints and the topics may be summarized to produce summaries such as “credit report update due to stolen identity.” These summarizations may be used to efficiently spot trends and issues.

Abstract: A system and method for ultrasound imaging may involve the use of an ultrasound probe and a processor coupled to the probe and to a source of previously-acquired ultrasound image data. The processor may be configured to receive patient identification information (e.g., responsive to user input and/or supplemented by additional information such a photo of the patient), to determine whether the patient identification information identifies a recurring patient, and if so, to retrieve, from the source of previously-acquired ultrasound image data, previous ultrasound images associated with the recurring patient. The processor may be further configured to generate a current ultrasound image based on signals received from the prove and to apply a neural network to the current ultrasound image and the previous ultrasound images to identify a matching pair of images, such that imaging settings from the matched previous image may be applied to the system for subsequent imaging.
