  • Patent number: 11938338
Abstract: A light therapy system (12) for administering a controllable melanopic luminous exposure includes a controllable lighting assembly (16) for use in delivering the desired luminous exposure. The system further includes a visual display means (18) for presenting at the same time a visual output such as a video to the patient. A target melanopic luminous exposure for administration to the patient is received by a controller 24. This target is then adjusted to compensate for an additional melanopic luminous exposure which the visual display means generates in displaying the visual output. A control schedule is then generated for controlling an illuminance of the lighting assembly to deliver over a defined treatment period the adjusted target melanopic luminous exposure. The lighting assembly is then controlled according to the control schedule.

  • Patent number: 11940517
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of Dixon-type MR imaging. It is an object of the invention to provide a method that enables efficient and reliable Dixon water/fat separation, in particular using a bipolar acquisition strategy, while avoiding flow-induced leakage and swapping artifacts. According to the invention, an imaging sequence is executed which comprises at least one excitation RF pulse and switched magnetic field gradients, wherein pairs of echo signals are generated at two different echo times (TE1, TE2) and during two or more different cardiac phases (AW1, AW2). The echo signals are acquired and phase images are reconstructed therefrom. A final diagnostic image is reconstructed from the echo signal data using water/fat separation, wherein regions of flow and/or or estimates of flow-induced phase errors are derived from the phase images to suppress or compensate for flow-induced leakage and/or swapping artifacts in the final diagnostic image.

  • Patent number: 11943096
Abstract: The technology may be utilized in network environments that use fiber optic cables to connect components. Components of the network perform functions as transceivers that transmit and receive light signals via the fiber cable. When optic power data received from the transceivers is recognized as a fault, an event is identified. The system logs each received event and converts all measurements into a common unit of measurement. The system analyzes aggregated data from the transceivers to detect patterns and trends, monitor the received data and provide real time fault predictions. For example, a machine learning process may recognize subtle trends or patterns in the data, and use the recognition to predict potential failures. The system uses the received data to create a graphical user interface (“GUI”) that represents the health of the network.
