Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for an air cleaner to be mounted onto an air inlet of an internal combustion engine. The air cleaner comprises an air filter that includes a filter medium disposed between a curved base and a cover. The curved base provides an interface between the air filter and the air inlet, and comprises a shape that provides clearance between the curved base and an electric choke installed onto a carburetor comprising the air inlet. The cover secures the air filter and the curved base to the air inlet such that an airstream is drawn through the filter medium and is conducted into the air inlet. A raised portion of the cover is configured to cooperate with the curved base to ensure a desired volume of the airstream is available to the air inlet at substantially all engine speeds.

Abstract: A medical device for the electromagnetic tracking of a medical instrument transported through the medical device. The medical device has a central axis and a channel that receives and transports a medical instrument through the medical device. The channel extends to a distal portion of the medical device and connects with an opening in the medical device that is not aligned with the central axis. The medical device includes a tracking component that is a plurality of coordinated electromagnetic sensors for generating a virtual axis of travel for the medical instrument, with the virtual axis passing through the opening of the device and being aligned with tool insertion axis.

The example method may also include using the QRN to participate in computer implemented services with the participating device that received the QRN from the remote QRN source.

An exemplary method involves: determining one or more acuity scores for the target patient; identifying patient health data corresponding to one or more low acuity time periods; storing retrospective clinical data from a group of patients in a second database; comparing the patient health data corresponding to the one or more low acuity time periods with retrospective clinical data from a group of patients by identifying one or more patient subgroups; determining the individual-specific patient baseline using an adaptive baseline selection algorithm, wherein the adaptive baseline selection algorithm is used to determine whether to determine the individual-specific patient baseline using patient health data or using retrospective clinical data from one or more patient subgroups; and displaying, using a user interface, the individual-specific patient baseline.

Risks can be identified on a per-skill basis using a plurality of risk factors. Abstract: A computer-implemented method comprising receiving a request to execute a transaction transferring transaction data from a first account to a second account associated with a second computing device in communication with a distributed ledger, the request comprising an identification of the first account and the second account; identifying a third account associated with a third computing device in communication with the distributed ledger; retrieving first account data for the first account and third account data for the third account from the distributed ledger; comparing a first value from the first account data and a third value from the third account data to a threshold; determining the transaction satisfies a transaction policy; and generating a record in the distributed ledger indicating the transaction transferring the transaction data from the first account to the second account in response to the determination that the transaction satisfies the transaction policy.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing stateless management of a virtualization platform are disclosed. In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method including: listening, at an agent executing on a host machine of a plurality of host machines that include a cluster for hosting virtual machines, for an event triggered on a virtual machine manager associated with the agent; determining, by the agent and based on the event, parameters needed for an API call at a central management service that manages a plurality of virtual machines and virtual machine managers; sending a Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request to the central management service, wherein the parameters are included in the HTTP request; receiving, by the agent and from the central management service, a response to the HTTP request including return data based on the determined parameters and the API call.

Abstract: Systems and methods for mobile wallet payments are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for conducting a payment using an electronic wallet may include: (1) a mobile application receiving a selection of an alternate payment currency; the mobile application receiving a payment payload from an issuer; the mobile application providing the selection of the alternate payment currency and an identifier to the issuer; and the mobile application providing the payment payload and the identifier to a merchant host. The merchant host may communicate the identifier to the issuer, and the issuer may identify selection of the alternate payment currency based on the identifier.

Abstract: A gas delivery apparatus configured for use with a mechanical ventilator having an atmospheric inlet for drawing in atmospheric gas includes a connecting device configured to connect to an oxygen supply and an air supply and to deliver mixed air and oxygen gas to the atmospheric inlet of the mechanical ventilator. The connecting device further includes a user control for adjusting a fraction of oxygen in the mixed air and oxygen gas. The connecting device comprises a reservoir configured to hold a volume of the mixed air and oxygen gas.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a fund access request from a user device associated with a user; generating a tokenized card number based on an actual card account number of the user that substitutes the actual card account number in a payment transaction; providing a code to the user device including the tokenized card number and a numeric or alphanumeric string of values; determining that the numeric or alphanumeric string of values in the code transmitted to the user device matches a numeric or alphanumeric string of values in a field of a code received from a separate computer system; determining that a location of the user device matches a merchant location; authenticating the payment transaction based on the numeric or alphanumeric match and the location match; and, transmitting the actual card account number to the separate computer system as part of the payment transaction.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for hardware-level encryption. An example method includes receiving an instance of information/data by processing circuitry; and disassembling, by the processing circuitry, the instance of information/data into a plurality of sections. The processing circuitry assigns each section of the plurality of sections a location in an allocated portion of memory. The locations are determined based at least in part on a quantum obfuscation map (QOM). The QOM is generated based on one or more quantum obfuscation elements (QOEs) corresponding to a quantum state of a quantum particle. The processing circuitry then causes each of the plurality of sections to be stored at the corresponding assigned location in the allocated portion of the memory.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for conducting heat from an ultrasound transducer and reducing drop impact forces are disclosed. A thermal management system including a thermally conductive compliant component in an ultrasound probe is disclosed. The thermal management system may include thermally conductive compliant component coupled to a transducer assembly. A printed circuit assembly (PCA) may be coupled to the compliant component. The thermally compliant component may conduct heat from the transducer assembly to the PCA. The PCA may be further coupled to a cable that may conduct heat from the PCA and away from the ultrasound probe.

Abstract: Described are transgenic, non-human animals comprising a nucleic acid encoding an immunoglobulin light chain, whereby the immunoglobulin light chain is human, human-like, or humanized. The nucleic acid is provided with a means that renders it resistant to DNA rearrangements and/or somatic hypermutations. In one embodiment, the nucleic acid comprises an expression cassette for the expression of a desired molecule in cells during a certain stage of development in cells developing into mature B cells. Further provided is methods for producing an immunoglobulin from the transgenic, non-human animal.

The method includes receiving, by a transaction card processing circuit from a customer device, information regarding the customer device and information regarding a contactless card associated with the account, where the information regarding the contactless card is received by the customer device via a contactless communication with the contactless card, authenticating a customer associated with the contactless card based on the information regarding the customer device and the information regarding the contactless card, and providing access to the account by the customer device based on the authentication.

Abstract: A system controls access to target servers in a network and includes: a user interface accessible to the target servers; a memory storing a database providing information to the interface; and a server implementing a discovery engine discovering user rights stored at the target servers and delivering the stored user rights to the database, and a trigger engine. The trigger engine is invoked by detection of a request to add or delete a user or group to a list of privileged groups from a first target server, updates the user rights at a local cache on the first target server, and delivers the updated user rights to database. The trigger engine modifies the discovery engine based on the detection of the request. A local security account manager database is changed to insert or remove a domain account to a local group, in response to the request.
