Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for automatically deploying an SDN are disclosed. A processor implements a declarative model for an SDN deployment and receives, in the declarative model, service order data from a user corresponding to the SDN deployment. The service order data includes high-level declarative statement data specifying a desired end-state of the SDN deployment. The processor translates the high-level declarative statement data into a low-level specification data that includes data corresponding to a topology and how the SDN should be deployed; creates a run-time topology model based on the low-level specification data; determines whether the service order is valid or not by comparing the low-level specification data against predefined policies and infrastructure constraints data corresponding to execution of the SDN deployment; and automatically executes deployment of the SDN based on a determination that the service order is valid in response to the run-time topology model.
Abstract: The invention relates to a system, an ultrasound probe and a corresponding method for measuring arterial parameters using non-imaging ultrasound. The system comprises an acquisition unit for acquiring doppler ultrasound signal from a blood vessel and a processing unit for processing the acquired doppler ultrasound signal and to determine the changes in the blood vessel through the measurements of at least Peak Systolic Velocity (PSV) and Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV). The acquisition unit comprises an ultrasound probe having a plurality of transducer elements arranged in a grid configuration, and comprising a first probe (102a) and a second probe (102b) detachably connected to each other. In the split configuration the ultrasound probe is provided to measure the PWV globally between the carotid and femoral arteries, or the PSV and PWV locally and simultaneously. In the integrated configuration the PSV or PWV may be measured locally.
Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing wasted computational resources by detecting network operation validation anomalies in conglomerate-application-based ecosystems are disclosed. The system provides a first network operation to a first software application of a set of software applications, where (i) the first network operation is configured to be provided as input to the first software application and (ii) the first software application generates a second network operation as output, using the first network operation, to be provided to a second software application. The system receives a first message associated with a processing of the first network operation at the first software application. The system then performs a determined validation process on the first message. In response to detecting that the determined validation process results in a failure to validate the first message, the system prevents the second network operation from being provided to the second software application.

Abstract: A method for determining vehicle insurance costs includes receiving a starting location and a destination location for a trip using a vehicle. One or more routes for the vehicle from the starting location to the destination location are received. A cost of insurance is determined for each of the one or more routes for the trip. The cost of insurance for each of the one or more routes for the trip is displayed. A selected route from the one or more routes is received. Operation of the vehicle for the trip is enabled along the selected route.

Abstract: Embodiments propose methods and system for predicting the occurrence of critical alarms in response to the occurrence of less severe, non-critical alarms. It is proposed to use a machine-learning model trained to discern whether a non-critical alarm will be followed by a critical alarm within a particular time period, e.g. whether the non-critical alarm will develop into a critical alarm. Unlike existing alarm systems which are merely threshold based, this approach uses physiological data from a window of data. This window of data can be expected to carry more information than a simple breach of the threshold.
