Abstract: A method and a system for automating a due diligence process are provided. The method includes: receiving identification information that relates to a customer; selecting, from a global set of due diligence questions based on the received identification information, a group of due diligence questions to be applied to the customer; determining a document source via which documents containing relevant information about the customer are accessible; retrieving, from the document source, a set of documents that relate to the potential customer; extracting, from the retrieved documents, information that is relevant to the selected group of due diligence questions with respect to the customer; and outputting the extracted information. Each of the determination of the document source, the retrieval of the set of documents, and the extraction of the relevant information is performed automatically by executing artificial intelligence algorithms that implement machine learning techniques.

Abstract: A method and system for recommending additional ingredients for making a nutritional preparation with improved folate retention. When an oxygen-reduced food processing step is used, an acidic pH value for the ingredients used improves folate retention. It is proposed to recommend additional or supplementary ingredients to reduce a pH value if a pH value of desired ingredient(s) is above or at a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A computing system includes a database, a processor, at least one processor, and at least one program logic stored in at least one memory that, when executed, is configured to cause the at least one processor to: receive, from an entity computing system, a request related to a layaway transaction of a user; facilitate initiation of a layaway deposit account, wherein facilitating initiation of the layaway deposit account comprises: determining that the user has a profile in the database; associating the layaway deposit account with the profile; generating at least one rule that governs the layaway deposit account; and associating the at least one rule with the layaway deposit account; and receive, from an automated teller machine (ATM), a funds deposit amount that complies with the at least one rule associated with the layaway deposit account.

The method includes receiving, via an application programming interface, a data model, the data model including model artifacts that define data governance for a data product; automatically generating source code for software components based on the data model, the software components corresponding to data mesh components for the data product; integrating data product customizations into the software components, the data product customizations including business logics and testing configurations; initiating an automated continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline to generate a service that corresponds to the data product based on the integrated software components; and deploying the generated service in a namespace that corresponds to the data product.

Abstract: A method for providing a global counterfactual explanation and a system for implementing the method are disclosed. The method includes generating an initial ground set based on a first candidate set of outer-If conditions, and a second candidate set used for selecting Inner-If or Then conditions. The method then evaluates a fixed number of triples and forms a new ground set that provides a recourse accuracy level above a reference threshold, in which the fixed number of triples included in the new ground set is less than a number of triples included in the initial ground set. The method further includes sorting the new ground set by recourse accuracy, selecting a predetermined number of triples based on corresponding recourse accuracies indicated in the sorting, and performing calculation based on the selected number of triples.

Abstract: A system and method for checking the sanction status of an entity to determine whether the entity is prohibited from engaging in transactions with an organization. The system and method include receiving a request to form an agreement between an organization and an entity and maintaining, in a sanctioned entity blacklist, associations between a plurality of entities and a plurality of identifiers. Each identifier of the plurality of identifiers indicates that a respective entity of the plurality of entities has sanctioned entity status prohibiting the respective entity from engaging in a transaction with one or more organizations. The system and method include determining a sanctioned entity status associated with the entity based on a digital certificate and the sanctioned entity blacklist. The system and method include generating, responsive to determining the sanctioned entity status associated with the entity, an error condition indicating that the digital certificate failed validation.

Abstract: A communication network may be provided having a plurality of network nodes and which may be configured to enable instantiation of different network slices which represent virtual networks with different feature sets, e.g., providing different network functions and/or having different network characteristics. The communication network may be configured to allow a network slice to be used for data communication between i) a user equipment (UE) connected to the network and configured to execute an application, and ii) a content or application server (CAS) configured to provide an application service via the network. Network functions may be provided which allow influencing the UE's slice usage based on requirements of the application service, even if the CAS is located outside the connectivity provider's network, e.g., outside a mobile operator's domain.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for employing the macro- and micro-structure of sleep and similar states of consciousness to optimize pain-treatment are disclosed wherein an objective biomarker of pain-related sleep disturbance guides pain treatment from a sleep perspective. Furthermore, this concept can be extended to states of reduced consciousness such as coma or sedation. Additionally, it could be applied on individuals who are non-communicative due to injury, disease, language issues and/or infancy.
