Abstract: A throttle-controlled intake system is disclosed that provides a driver of a vehicle with greater control over engine functions and vehicle performance. The throttle-controlled intake system includes a control module that is coupled with an aircharger air intake. The control module processes input signals from a throttle pedal of the vehicle and sends modified throttle position signals to a throttle body of the vehicle so as to increase throttle responsiveness of the vehicle. The throttle-controlled intake system further includes a wiring harness and a signal adjuster. The wiring harness electrically couples the control module with the throttle pedal and the throttle body. The control module sends signals directly to the throttle body of the engine, bypassing an electronic control unit of the vehicle. The signal adjuster includes a rheostat that enables manual adjustment of the throttle responsiveness of the vehicle.

Abstract: The invention provides a streaming client with a streaming presentation of an event, with said presentation being obtained by dynamically switching between a plurality of media streams which represent different recordings of the event. For that purpose, source data is obtained from a plurality of stream sources. The source data is constituted by content data and/or metadata of concurrent portions of the plurality of media streams. By applying a quality assessment function to the source data, a quality score is assigned to each one of the concurrent portions. This allows selection data to be generated which enables the streaming client to access a selected one of the concurrent portions of a respective media stream. For example, a segment may be selected which provides a highest quality score. By doing so, it is therefore not required anymore for a consumer to manually switch between different media streams.

Inbound traffic on an enterprise network can be monitored and analyzed to detect a threat based on parameters of the inbound traffic. In response, a patch can be identified or generated to address known or unknown threats based on a comparison of parameters. Once identified or generated, the patch can be conveyed to a target computing resource for deployment to address the threat.

The method includes: sequentially applying, in a first order, a set of parsing rules to each of a first set of logs to determine destinations that correspond to log normalization routines for reformatting into a common format; determining whether an efficiency of the application of the parsing rules would be increased by reordering into a second order; and reordering the set of parsing rules into the second order based on the determination, so that the parsing rules will be sequentially applied to the next set of logs based on the second order thereof. The efficiency determination is based on volumes and complexities of various log types.
