Abstract: A system (500) includes an illumination system (502), a lens element (506), and a detector (504). The illumination system generates a beam of radiation (510) having a first spatial intensity distribution (800) at a pupil plane (528) and a second spatial intensity distribution (900) at a plane of a target (514). The first spatial intensity distribution comprises an annular intensity profile (802) or an intensity profile corresponding to three or more beams. The lens element focuses the beam onto the target. The second spatial intensity distribution is a conjugate of the first intensity distribution and has an intensity profile corresponding to a central beam (902) and one or more side lobes (904) that are substantially isolated from the central beam. The central beam has a beam diameter of approximately 20 microns or less at the target. The detector receives radiation scattered by the target and generates a measurement signal based on the received radiation.
Abstract: A plurality of files that include unsearchable computer data may be analyzed and tagged. A plurality of tags that relate to characteristics of the files is determined. The characteristics relate to both the data included in the files as well as the general structure or nature of the files. The plurality of computer files is then tagged or associated with these tags, enabling the plurality of computer files to be searched to identify and retrieve relevant files of the computer files. The tags may be updated in response to various prompts to reflect changing computer files.

The support structure has a moveable guide system coupled to at least one of the receptacle system or the electrostatic charging system. The moveable guide system has at least an engaged position where the receptacle system is adjacent the electrostatic charging system to electrostatically charge the facepiece and a disengaged position where the receptacle system is spaced from the electrostatic charging system.
Abstract: A food processor combines steaming of food on a support, and blending. The support is rotated about the same shaft as the blender blade, to release the food on the support centrifugally so that it drops to the blender blade. This enables an automated process with optimized steaming and blending.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enhancing a user's efficiency while operating an oral hygiene device (10) is provided. In an exemplary embodiment, motion information of an oral hygiene device is received from one or more accelerometers (32) located within the oral hygiene device. The received motion information is compared to a targeted motion of the oral hygiene device. The user operating the oral hygiene device is then provided with feedback in response to determining that the received motion information is within a predefined range of the targeted motion information.

Abstract: A system for determining location of an interventional medical device within a patient includes a controller that controls an ultrasound probe to emit imaging beams at different times and angles relative to the ultrasound probe. The system also includes an interventional medical device with an attached sensor that receives the imaging beams together with repetitive noise. The controller further identifies the repetitive noise received at the sensor, including identifying the rate at which the repetitive noise is repeated and identifying the times at which the repetitive noise is received at the sensor. The controller further offsets the repetitive noise in signals received at the sensor by interpolating the signals based on the imaging beams. The controller determines the location of the interventional medical device based on the offset signals.

Abstract: Method for providing a container with food, the method comprising: providing a container for infant formula food, adding the food, sealing the container with a gas-tight membrane seal, adding an inner scannable code on the gas-tight membrane seal, closing the container with a tamper-proof closure means, so that the inner scannable code is not scannable without breaking a part of the tamper-proof closure means, and storing the inner scannable code in a database.
Abstract: A method for monitoring the loneliness state of a subject includes receiving proximity information for a plurality of user devices and then generating a loneliness decision for subjects who use the devices based on the proximity information. In one case, the proximity information may be projected onto a lower dimensional space, distance values corresponding to the proximity information may be compared, and the user devices may be ranked based on the comparison. A user may then be determined to be lonely based on the ranking of the user devices. In other cases, clustering techniques may be applied relative to one or more centroids. Distances may then be calculated and compared for purposes of generating a loneliness decision. In other cases, resource information may be taken into consideration with distance information for generating a loneliness decision.

Abstract: Disclosed is an approach for training and applying predictive models that employ natural language processing in analyzing records with summary and resolution fields. A semi-supervised machine learning text model may be used to generate a category score for each record in a first dataset. The model may be generated using a training dataset comprising past records and categorization labels for each of the past records. The model may perform textual analytics on summary and resolution fields received as inputs and provide category scores as output. Dispositions may be assigned to each record in the first dataset based on a comparison of the category score to a category threshold. A second dataset may be generated with the records of the first dataset and assigned dispositions. A report comprising records and, for each record, disposition and category score may be generated.
Abstract: An irrigation dripper, comprises an external elongated hollow structure having one or more rigid wall and one or more flexible walls, an internal elongated structure introduced into the external structure to form a pathway for flow between the internal structure and the walls, an inlet for providing water to the pathway, and an outlet on the external structure for allowing water to drip out of the pathway.
Abstract: A wet cleaning apparatus includes a cleaner head having a dirt inlet. A motor and fan deliver suction to the dirt inlet. Further, the wet cleaning apparatus includes a separator unit for separating water from a flow of air generated by the suction. The separated water is collected in a container having a top and a bottom, and a side portion extending there between. The separated air is passed out of the container towards the motor and fan via an air passage. The air passage is spatially separated from the bottom of the container. The water collected in the container sloshes against the side portion of the container when a user is pushing the cleaner head and the container forward. A water directing member sealingly adjoins the side portion, and protrudes into the container backwards from the side portion, thereby to inhibit the water sloshing against the side portion.
