  • Patent number: 10629295
Abstract: The execution of a clinical trial is supported in the following manner. Patient model data is provided for modeling a patient-level workflow in the clinical trial in accordance with a trial protocol. Clinical data of patients participating in the clinical trial is accessed. Using a workflow engine, an instance of the patient-level workflow is instantiated for each of the patients to obtain a plurality of patient-level workflow instantiations. Each of the patient-level workflow instantiations is executed independently based on the clinical data of each respective one of the patients. The patient model data may include or be linked to a rule associated with a step of the patient-level workflow. The rule may be executed when the workflow engine reaches the step in one of the patient-level workflow instantiations. Accordingly, a virtual representation of the clinical trial on a patient-level is obtained which represents the actual state of the clinical trial yet which is computer-accessible.

  • Patent number: 10627467
Abstract: The invention provides for a magnetic resonance imaging system (100) for acquiring magnetic resonance data (154) from an imaging zone (108). The magnetic resonance imaging system comprises: a memory (136) for storing initial pulse sequence commands (140) and machine executable instructions (160); and a processor (130) for controlling the magnetic resonance imaging system. Execution of the machine executable instructions causes the processor to receive (200) a set of selected pulse sequence parameters (142) comprising a definition of a region of interest (109) of a subject (118). The region of interest is within the imaging zone. Execution of the machine executable instructions further causes the processor to send (202) an image data request to a historical database (138). The image data request comprises the set of selected pulse sequence parameters.

  • Patent number: 10628831
Abstract: In an example, a method for implementing a disclosure message requirement may include operations to detect a condition requiring an output of the disclosure message and to control output of the disclosure message, in a communication session that follows a process workflow. The process workflow may be modified to include pausing further actions in the process workflow, outputting of the disclosure message in the communication session, and then resuming actions in the process workflow in response to successfully outputting the entire disclosure message to a customer user. In some examples, the communication session involves a telephone call session between a customer service agent and a customer. In some examples, user interface functions related to the process workflow are disabled and then enabled, to prevent the agent from proceeding in the process workflow for a product or service until the disclosure has been successfully output.

  • Patent number: 10628210
Abstract: The invention relates to providing API interoperability. An embodiment of the present invention is directed to increasing API productivity by chaining (or sequencing) APIs together to accomplish multiple operations. The innovative system enables APIs to be strung together, in a way that eliminates or reduces a user's need to visit and/or invoke multiple applications and/or APIs. An embodiment of the present invention is directed to expanding a traditional usage of point-to-point API invocation. The innovative system may define a classification protocol to enable API providers and/or creators to register an API by a command type (e.g., entitlement, query, data, etc.). Each command type may have a minimum set of mandatory operations that an API may be required to expose. By adhering to the contract, APIs may be handled generically, without knowing which system and/or app created the API.
