Abstract: The present invention provides a method of modifying a targeted site of a double-stranded DNA, comprising a step of introducing a complex wherein a nucleic acid sequence-recognizing module that specifically binds to a target nucleotide sequence in a double-stranded DNA and PmCDA1 are bonded, into a cell containing the double-stranded DNA, and culturing the cell at a low temperature at least temporarily to convert the targeted site, i.e., the target nucleotide sequence and nucleotides in the vicinity thereof, to other nucleotides, or delete the targeted site, or insert nucleotide into the site.

Abstract: A laser tip, a laser treatment tool, a laser treatment device and a laser treatment system are provided for performing laser treatment surgery and minimizing any bleeding. A laser tip is attachable to a laser radiation opening located at the tip end of a laser transmission tube. The laser tip includes an attaching portion detachable from the laser radiation opening and a contact portion contactable with biological tissue. Abstract: The invention provides a method of modifying a targeted site of gram-positive bacterium of a double stranded DNA. Abstract: A digital holographic microscope in which two digital holographic microscopes for detecting a fluorescence image and a phase image, respectively, are combined to be able to three-dimensionally measure a fluorescence image and a phase image at the same time, and perform measurement at a high SN ratio in all the polarization states including random light polarization. Abstract: A cancer vaccine that can be orally administered can be provided through the use of a transformed Bifidobacterium capable of expressing and displaying a WT1 protein. The WT1 protein expressed and displayed by the transformed Bifidobacterium is a protein covering most of a WT1 protein unlike a WT1 peptide vaccine restricted to a certain HLA. A cancer vaccine using the transformed Bifidobacterium as an active ingredient is applicable to patients of various HLA types.
