Abstract: A structure for connecting a display and a supporter, capable of supporting the display even if it is medium-sized or relatively large-sized, and being easily attached and detached. The structure has a structure for connecting the display and a supporter that is connected to the backside of the display and supports the display. The supporter has an upwardly fixed claw, a movable claw, and an operation unit for moving the movable claw. On the backside of the display are arranged an engagement hole with which the fixed claw engages and an engagement groove with which the movable claw engages.

Abstract: An image display apparatus includes a controller for dividing at least a portion of an image displayed based on a digital video signal, into a plurality of image areas defined by display lines, and establishing different delays for the divided image areas, a clock adjuster generating a clock in synchronism with the dot clock, delaying a phase of the clock according to the delays established by the controller, for the respective divided image areas, and outputting the delayed clock as the reproduced dot clock, and a delay evaluating unit converting differential data between adjacent signal levels into absolute values and accumulatively adding the absolute values based on the reproduced dot clock output from the clock adjuster, with respect to the display lines which define the divided image areas, thereby producing accumulated sums. The controller judges the delay established for the divided area with the maximum accumulated sum, as optimum.
Abstract: An image distortion correction method is provided which is capable of correcting for distortion of a projected image by designating an arbitrary correction point by using a simple and easy operation without independently providing a display device and/or a pointing device.
Abstract: A display device uses a field sequential color scheme. Assume that a panel video writing period defines a period from the start of writing image data into a display panel to the completion of displaying the image on the basis of the image data in a sub-frame. A light source driving circuit generates a driving signal for gradually increasing the luminance of a light source of a color corresponding to a displayed image in the present sub-frame from zero to a predetermined value within the panel video writing period of the present sub-frame and for gradually decreasing the luminance of the light source from the predetermined value to zero within the panel video writing period of the next sub-frame. A light source driver drives the light source to emit light in accordance with the driving signal.
Abstract: An illumination apparatus used in non-light emission transparent display devices includes a base material, light emitting elements arranged two dimensionally on the surface of the base material, a drive section driving the light emitting elements, and a light emitting intensity control section controlling a light emitting intensity of the light emitting elements. An arrangement of the light emitting elements is such that a density at ends of the base material is high compared to that in a center part thereof, and the ends have a high density in regions where the base temperature is high and the center part has a high density in regions where the base material temperature is high.

Abstract: A PC activates a software program for detecting when a network terminal device is connected to a network, based on the control action of the user. When the network terminal device is connected to the network, the network terminal device sends a connection signal to the PC, and then operates as a DHCP server. Having received the connection signal, the PC recognizes an IP address of the network terminal device that is included in the connection signal, and operates as a DHCP client. The PC makes its own network setting using an IP address assigned from a DHCP server that has the same IP address as the IP address of the network terminal device.
