Abstract: Provided is a POS system, including a terminal (12) that includes a bank deposit amount calculating unit (122) for calculating a bank deposit amount for each business day, in which the bank deposit amount calculating unit (122) subtracts an amount spent for other uses than as a change from a total amount of cash gained on a day that validity of the spending is judged and approved, to thereby calculate a bank deposit amount of the day. With this configuration, the management of cash such as a change fund in the POS system is clarified.
Abstract: A ringer tone signal is attenuated, during a state in which a call is in progress, below the ringer tone signal level that occurs when no call is in progress, when a PC terminal is utilized as a telephone. Abstract: There is provided an interface circuit according to which a telephone or an intercom may be connected to a port of a main device including a telephone exchange function. The interface circuit includes a power supply circuit that supplies necessary power supply voltage according to the telephone or the intercom connected to the port, and a state detection circuit that detects, in a case where the telephone is connected to the port, whether the telephone is in an on-hook state or in an off-hook state, based on the value of an input impedance of the telephone, and that detects, in a case where the intercom is connected to the port, whether the intercom is in a standby state or in an activation button pressed state, based on a value of the input impedance of the intercom.
Abstract: Disclosed is a printer including a transverse tension sensor for detecting that a sheet being discharged has deviated in a paper width direction orthogonal to a discharging direction. The conveyance of the sheet is stopped based on a detection signal of the transverse tension sensor.
Abstract: A fixed blade support device includes biasing means and a fixed blade support member (11). The fixed blade support member (11) includes a base surface portion (11a), an upright surface portion (11b), and a retainer portion (11c). The upright surface portion (11b) extends from the base surface portion (11a) in a biasing direction so as to close a rear side of a root portion of a fixed blade (12) on an opposite side to a blade edge portion thereof, and is configured to prevent the fixed blade (12) from being disengaged in a direction of engagement with a movable blade. The retainer portion (11c) extends from the upright surface portion (11b) so as to cover the root portion of the fixed blade (12), and is configured to prevent the fixed blade (12) from being disengaged in the biasing direction.
Abstract: A pair of guide portions 22c is subjected to, after punching, a processing of removing a corner portion of an outer edge portion on a punching rear side Pr.
Abstract: Provided is a movable blade including, at a part including a movable blade leading edge which engages with a stationary blade, a blade edge portion which is thinned toward the movable blade leading edge. The blade edge portion is formed by shaving.
Abstract: A printer including a lower frame on which roll paper is loaded, a cutter section mounted above the lower frame for cutting the roll paper on which printing is made, and a cover that allows a front of the lower frame to be opened and closed is provided. A slope portion for causing paper dust or a slip of paper, which falls from the cutter section, to slip down toward the front of the lower frame is provided at a portion of the lower frame below the cutter section. The cover is provided with a pocket portion for receiving the paper dust or the slip of paper slipping down on the slope, and the pocket portion is adjacent to the lowest portion of the slope portion when the cover is closed.
Abstract: A mobile terminal includes: a tamper-detection circuit (17), an information processor (13) that is capable of executing a suspend function, a first battery (23) supplying power to the information processor (13) and the tamper-detection circuit (17), and a switch (27) that is provided on a power-source supply line (431) that connects the first battery (23) and the information processor (13) and the switch that is capable of switching between a state in which information processor (13) is connected to first battery (23) and a state in which information processor (13) is not connected to first battery (23).
Abstract: A POS system includes: input means for receiving an input of an order; memory means for storing item information containing an individual theoretical weight of each item; calculating means for calculating, based on input information containing item types and item quantities of ordered items and on the item information, a theoretical total weight of the ordered items; weight measuring means for measuring an actual total weight of the ordered items, which are put in a bag; judging means for comparing the theoretical total weight and the actual total weight, and when there is a weight difference therebetween, identifying a side item and/or included item close in weight to the weight difference from among the ordered items; and output means for outputting the identified side item and/or included item as an item candidate corresponding to the weight difference.

As a result, the operator can easily and reliably load the roll (200).
Abstract: A networking system architecture includes a plurality of main devices, one of the main devices acts as a master main device, and the other main devices act as slave main devices. If the master main device malfunctions, one of the slave main devices substitutes for the master main device to act as a new master main device. Priorities are set to the main devices, respectively. If a current master main device malfunctions, the current master main device may be replaced by a new master main device having the highest priority among the other main devices.
