  • Patent number: 8000298
Abstract: A fast roaming system for changing, in a short period of time, the connection to a roaming destination AP (access point) providing a better communication environment, and for improving a roaming completion rate. In response to a search process performed by a mobile terminal, individual APs transmits AP data required for roaming directly to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal performs the passive scanning search or the active scanning search for the peripheral APs at short time intervals, and obtains and stores the latest AP data in an AP data table. As a result, only the latest data for the connectable peripheral AP can be stored as a roaming destination in the AP data table. Furthermore, since the order condition is set by the mobile terminal to select the roaming destination AP, there is a high probability that the roaming is completed when the peripheral AP is first selected. Therefore, only a short period of time is required until the roaming is completed.

  • Patent number: 7983405
Abstract: External lines 22 connected to a LAN 30 to establish pseudo private lines and having individual line numbers (for example, 5 and 3) are preliminarily assigned with the same identifier (for example, ID2). A sender PABX 10 transmits a call to a receiver PABX 10T and sends call information including ID2 of the line having the line number 5. The receiver PABX 10T acquires ID2 from the call information, selects the line having the line number 3 and assigned with ID2, and uses the line for communication. Between the two PABXs 10 and 10T, a combination of the lines having the line numbers 5 and 3 corresponding to ID2 can be fixedly used as the pseudo private line.

  • Patent number: 7970113
Abstract: A caller number notification synchronized with an incoming signal is disclosed. An analog circuit interface section outputs incoming call signal presence information that shows whether to receive the incoming call signal that has the information indicated at a predetermined position on a highway and outputs the received caller ID to a speech signal path. An analog extension interface section detects the incoming call signal presence information on the highway, detects the caller ID on the speech signal path, generates an incoming call signal based on the detected incoming signal presence information and sends out the generated incoming call signal and the detected caller ID to the analog extension. A system control section connects the analog circuit interface section to the analog extension interface section.

  • Patent number: 7965846
Abstract: When an SIP interface unit of a server apparatus receives an SIP message for call connection from a client apparatus and an SIP message analyzing unit can confirm that the SIP message is normal, a call controller recognizes that an RTP communication is carried out between the client apparatus and another client apparatus and instructs an encrypting capability management unit to determine RTP encrypting information which is used between the client apparatuses. The encrypting capability management unit determines the RTP encrypting information between these client apparatuses based on the instruction. With this arrangement, there can be provided a client-server distributed system that can realize an encrypting security function without requiring a certificate authentification function at a low cost in order to deliver an encrypting key as well as without necessity of holding or managing a certificate and preparing an authenticating server in a system.

  • Patent number: 7904637
Abstract: A judging unit determines whether an accumulated rewrite count management table is in a flash memory. If the accumulated rewrite count management table is not in the flash memory, then a generating unit generates an accumulated rewrite count management table in the flash memory, and a recording unit records an accumulated rewrite count in the accumulated rewrite count management table which is generated. A monitoring unit monitors the lifetime of a storage device based on the accumulated rewrite count recorded in the accumulated rewrite count management table and a rewrite count limitative value recorded in the flash memory.

  • Patent number: 7894840
Abstract: Disconnection of communication is prevented and a connecting relation is maintained between radio devices even when a communication channel is dynamically switched. Accordingly, when a first radio device switches a communication channel used for radio communication with a second radio device, the first radio device firstly switches to a simultaneously-connectable channel capable of a simultaneous communication with an original channel, and then switches to a destination channel.

  • Patent number: 7881718
Abstract: When a station is connected via a connector to an AC adapter, a controller may detect the event of connection between the station and the adapter and drive a suppression signal transmitter to send a suppression signal to suppress a handover by the station. The station may include a communication controller to fix, upon receipt of the suppression signal from the adapter, a wireless access point to which the station belongs. The station may enter a handover suppressed state in which the station does not conduct a handover to belong to another wireless access point so long as the station is connected to the adapter and is receiving the suppression signal. This may suppress the excessive handover and secure stable communication quality.

  • Patent number: 7873539
Abstract: In response to inputting order, a sales slip processor issues a sales slip with a slip code and a table code of a table at which the order is accepted, and stores order data in a sales holding file. In order to balance or rewrite sales slips, an operator inputs a sales slip code or a table code. The processor calls order data sets with a table code corresponding to the input code from the sales holding file and numbers the sets to create and store an edit data group in an edit file. One edit data set is selected and displayed on a screen display part. A data set next to the displayed edit data set can be retrieved from the edit file through one touch operation that designates a subsequent or previous slip with an input unit and displayed on the screen to thereby facilitate the retrieval of the order data with the same table code.

  • Patent number: 7801134
Abstract: A VoIP system has a VoIP server and plural clients. The client transmits paging data as multicast packets addressed at a specific multicast address, to other clients. In response to a request from the client, the VoIP server transmits multicast packets of MOH data to the other clients. At this time, whether the other clients can receive multicast packets is determined. To the clients that are determined to be capable of receiving multicast packets, transmission data is sent in the form of multicast packets. To the client which belongs to a router and is determined to be incapable of receiving multicast packets, the transmission data is sent as unicast packets. It is thus possible for the VoIP system to support paging and MOH in the form of multicast packets, with respect to clients incapable of receiving multicast.
