Abstract: A pack is provided for holding and re-charging an e-cigarette. The pack comprises a tube having a substantially cylindrical shape. The tube has a hole defined by an open end of the tube for receiving an e-cigarette into the tube, such that the e-cigarette is held in the tube. The pack further includes a re-charging mechanism for re-charging an e-cigarette held within the tube, and a light for indicating a charging state of the e-cigarette in the tube. The light is located at the open end of the tube adjacent the hole for receiving the e-cigarette into the tube.

Abstract: The present disclosure teaches provision of a method that includes passing a data token from a first wirelessly connectable electronic nicotine delivery (END) device to a second wirelessly connectable END device. The method also includes using the token to control an aspect of the operation of a third wirelessly connectable device, the third wirelessly connectable device having an established communications relationship with the second wirelessly connectable END device.
Abstract: An aerosol provision system comprises a liquid storage area comprising a liquid formulation; an aerosol generating area; and a membrane disposed between the liquid storage area and the aerosol generating area, the membrane fluidly communicating the liquid storage area with the aerosol generating area, wherein the liquid formulation has a water content of at least 18% w/w.
Abstract: An electronic vapor provision device comprising a power cell, a vaporizer and a liquid store, wherein the vaporizer comprises a heater and a heater support, wherein the liquid store comprises a porous material.
Abstract: An electronic vapor provision device comprising a power cell and a vaporizer, wherein the vaporizer comprises a heater and a heater support, wherein the heater is one the inside of the heater support.
Abstract: A method of generating of a map of vaping action events includes receiving respective notifications of a vaping action for each of a plurality of electronic vapor provision systems, logging GPS coordinates in response to detection of the vaping action, transmitting one or more logged sets of GPS coordinates to a vaping heat map server, and updating a vaping action count in one or more map regions in the map of vaping action events responsive to the transmitted GPS coordinates.
Abstract: The present disclosure teaches provision of a wireless communication module. The wireless communication module includes a wireless communication interface which is configured to operate at different times as a master device and as a slave device in separate communication relationships using the same communication protocol. The interface is also configured to switch back and forth between a master device mode and a slave device mode.
Abstract: A rechargeable pack is provided for containing and recharging an e-cigarette. The pack includes a pack battery; a first connector which is electrically connectable to an external power source; a first recharging mechanism for re-charging the pack battery using the external power source when the first connector is electrically connected to the external power source; a second connector which is electrically connectable to the e-cigarette when the e-cigarette is received within the pack; and a second recharging mechanism for re-charging the e-cigarette using the pack battery when the e-cigarette is electrically connected to the second connector. The second recharging mechanism can be configured to provide protection against the pack battery providing excessive current through the second connector.
Abstract: Various embodiments provide a pack for holding and re-charging an e-cigarette. The pack comprises a pack battery; a body portion including a tube for receiving an e-cigarette; a re-charging mechanism for re-charging the e-cigarette received into the tube using the pack battery; and a lid attached to the body portion. The lid can be opened to allow the e-cigarette to be received into the tube, and closed to retain the e-cigarette in the tube. The pack is configured to transition from a higher power state to a lower power state a predetermined period of time after the lid is opened and before the lid has been shut.

Abstract: An electronic vapor provision system includes a vaporizer for vaporizing liquid for inhalation by a user of the electronic vapor provision system; a power supply comprising a cell or battery for supplying power to the vaporizer; a sensor for measuring the rate of airflow through the electronic vapor provision system as a result of the inhalation by the user; and a control unit for controlling the power supplied to the vaporizer based on a cumulative airflow for this inhalation by the user, wherein the cumulative airflow is determined based on the measurements of airflow rate by the sensor. Such a system allows the user control over the amount of vaporized liquid obtained in a given inhalation based on the cumulative airflow for the given inhalation.
Abstract: An electronic vapor provision device comprises a body 4 and a vaporizer 24. The body 4 comprises a power cell 10 and a processor 16, and the vaporizer 24 is releasably connectable to the body 4. The processor 16 is configured to enter a sleep mode when the vaporizer 24 is connected to the body 4 and the device is inactive for an inactive time. Furthermore, the processor 16 is configured to leave the sleep mode and enter a usable mode when the vaporizer 24 is disconnected from the body 4 then reconnected to the body 4.
Abstract: A method of synchronizing a feature between an electronic vapor provision system and a mobile communication device of a user includes obtaining a current parameter of a configurable feature on one of the electronic vapor provision system and the mobile communication device; communicating an indication of the parameter to the other of the electronic vapor provision system and the mobile communication device; and the other one of the electronic vapor provision system and the mobile communication device reconfiguring a corresponding feature in response to the communicated indication of the parameter.
