    Abstract: An aerosol dispensing device comprises a tubular body that provides a plenum, a mouthpiece having an outlet, a valve for dispensing fluid from a canister as an aerosol with relatively large and small droplet sizes into the plenum for supply to a user through the mouthpiece, and a baffle arrangement that provides first and second passageways each coupled at one end to the plenum and so configured in the mouthpiece to supply the small size droplets to the user, and the other end of the second passageway being closed to inhibit passage of the large size droplets to the mouthpiece outlet, and containing an absorbent pad to prevent leakage of liquid from the canister. The pad may be pre-loaded with a flavorant.

    Abstract: An electronic vapor provision system includes a housing, a vaporizer contained within the housing, and a mouthpiece at one end of the system. The mouthpiece provides an air outlet. At least one air inlet hole is provided in a portion of the housing. In response to a user inhalation at the mouthpiece, air flows into the system through the one or more air inlet holes, past the vaporizer, and out through the mouthpiece. The system further includes a collar located around the portion of the housing in which the one or more air inlet holes are provided. The collar is movable with respect to the housing. The system further includes a mechanism for positively engaging the collar and the housing at a plurality of predetermined positions as the collar is moved with respect to the housing.

    Abstract: An aerosol provision system, such as an electronic cigarette, comprises an aerosol source for generating an aerosol from a source liquid comprising a liquid formulation, for example containing nicotine, is described. The system comprises an air channel arranged between the aerosol source and a mouthpiece opening through which a user inhales the aerosol during use. The air channel is defined by a wall, and at least a portion of an inner surface of the wall is provided with a surface finish to increase the wettability of the surface to the liquid formulation. Increasing the wettability of the air channel can help reduce the likelihood of the aerosol condensing into droplets of the liquid formulation on the walls of the air channel and being drawn into a user's mouth therefrom.
