The rubber formulation is prepared by mixing together (a') a hydrogenated nitrile rubber composition having added therein an optional filler, (b') an organopolysiloxane composition having added therein an optional filler, and (c) the crosslinking controller, and thereafter adding (e) the peroxide crosslinking agent.

    Abstract: A process for producing a toner for developing an electrostatic image, including the steps of: adding to an aqueous dispersion medium a polymerizable monomer composition comprising at least a polymerizable monomer and a colorant uniformly dissolved or dispersed in the polymerizable monomer, wherein the aqueous dispersion medium containing as a dispersion stabilizer a hardly water-soluble metal hydroxide colloid formed by a reaction of a water-soluble polyvalent metal salt with an alkali metal hydroxide in an aqueous phase; and subjecting the polymerizable monomer composition to suspension polymerization, thereby to produce particles having a volume-average particle size in the range of from 2 to 20 .mu.m and a particle size distribution (a ratio of volume-average particle size/number-average particle size) of not more than 1.6.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a medical valve apparatus having a valve assembly which comprises a valve seat and a movable valve, and which is arranged in a duct of a medical appliance, wherein a plurality of through holes for the passage of a fluid are formed through the valve seat, the movable valve is composed of a flexible membrane, and the movable membrane is fixed on the valve seat substantially at the central point thereof. The flexible membrane has a corolla-like shape at the time of a forward flow to allow a free flow of the fluid passing in the through holes, and at the time of a back flow, the flexible membrane is wide-spread to adhere to the valve seat and close the through holes whereby the passage of the regurgitation is prevented. Preferably, the peripheral edge of the valve seat is integrated with the inner wall of the duct of the medical appliance without a seam therebetween.

The plastisol is excellent in fluidity and good in processability. Said plastisol can provide a molded article having excellent electrical conductivity and is suited for, e.g., production of floor materials or sealing materials having low static properties and formation of an electrically conductive path.

    Abstract: A saddle type pipe joint for construction of branching connections, composed of a saddle-shaped main pipe-connecting part and a cylindrical branching pipe-connecting part. The two parts are integrally molded by a reaction molding, composed of a shape-memorized plastic resin, and have on the inner surfaces a fusion-bonding plastic resin layer containing a conductive filler. The pipe joint is made by polymerising a reactive liquid stock for a shape-memorizable plastic resin in a mold using a core made of a fusible plastic resin containing a conductive filler; cutting the main pipe part of the molded composite article along its length at the side opposite to the branching pipe-connecting site; and opening side edges of the thus-cut main pipe. The construction of branching connections is carried out by utilizing the restoration of the shape-memorized plastic resin to the original shape.
