In particular, the cell mobilizing agent contains a lysophospholipid introduced with retinoic acid represented by the formula (1) and/or the formula (2) or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient: wherein R1 and R2 are each a retinoyl group or hydrogen and are not the same.
Abstract: A surface physical property modifier composition includes (A) a wax, (B) a vinyl (co)polymer, and (C) an aliphatic hydrocarbon having a carbon number of 5 to 14. Component (A) is set to be at least one selected from the group consisting of (a1) paraffin wax, (a2) microcrystalline wax, (a3) Fischer-Tropsch wax, and (a4) polyethylene wax, and component (B) is produced from at least one of (b1) a (meth)acrylonitrile, (b2) a (meth)acrylic acid having a carbon number of 1 to 4, (b3) a hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate or hydroxypropyl (meth)acrylate, (b4) styrene, and (b5) predetermined (meth)acrylic acid alkyl esters. Component (A) is 50 to 98 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the total of (A) and (B), and component (C) is 0.001 to 1 percent by mass relative to the total amount of (A).
Abstract: Provided is a biofilm formation-preventing agent that improves the sustainability of an effect of a drug, and keeps an oral environment satisfactory in a sustainable manner, without an increase in drug concentration or treatment time to prevent the maturation of dental plaque into a biofilm, and a composition for oral use containing the biofilm formation-preventing agent. More specifically, the biofilm formation-preventing agent includes a copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of from 10,000 to 5,000,000 and containing: 10 mol % to 90 mol % of a constituent unit (A) based on 2-(meth) acryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine; and 90 mol % to 10 mol % of at least one kind of constituent unit selected from the group consisting of a constituent unit (B1) based on an alkyl group-containing (meth) acrylic monomer, a constituent unit (B2) based on a quaternary ammonium group-containing (meth) acrylic monomer, and a constituent unit (B3) based on a (meth) acrylamide-based monomer.

Abstract: To provide an antifogging agent composition having excellent sustainability of antifogging performance. An anti fogging agent composition includes a copolymer (A), a polyfunctional blocked isocyanate compound (B), and a surfactant (C). The copolymer (A) is formed of 35 to 90 parts by weight of the monomer (A-1), 5 to 60 parts by weight of the monomer (A-2), and 5 to 30 parts by weight of the monomer (A-3) per 100 parts by weight of the copolymer (A). An NCO/OH ratio obtained by dividing an isocyanate group content (NCO) of the polyfunctional blocked isocyanate compound (B) by a hydroxyl group content (OH) of the copolymer (A) is within a range from 0.1 to 1.5. The surfactant (C) includes 1.00 to 10.0 parts by weight of the anionic surfactant (C-1) and 0.01 to 3.00 parts by weight of the cationic surfactant (C-2) per 100 parts by weight of the copolymer (A).

Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a cationic lipid that can be used as a nucleic acid delivery carrier, a lipid membrane structure using a cationic lipid, a nucleic acid-introducing agent using a cationic lipid, and a method of achieving nucleic acid introduction by using a nucleic acid-introducing agent containing a cationic lipid. A lipid membrane structure containing a cationic lipid represented by the formula (1) wherein each symbol is as defined in the DESCRIPTION, is superior in the stability in blood and tumor accumulation property. A nucleic acid-introducing agent using the cationic lipid can achieve high nucleic acid delivery efficiency of nucleic acid to be delivered into the cytoplasm.

Abstract: A matrix-assisted laser desorption (MALDI) mass spectrometry in which a mixture comprising a polyethylene glycol derivative having a molecular weight of 40,000 or more and a matrix is irradiated with laser beam to vaporize the polyethylene glycol derivative together with the matrix, thereby measuring a molecular weight of the polyethylene glycol derivative, wherein as the matrix, a low polar matrix having a 1-octanol/water partition coefficient (log Pow) of 4.1 to 4.8 is used. Also disclosed is a matrix for use in the matrix-assisted laser desorption (MALDI) mass spectrometry.

Abstract: A surface property-improving agent for molded bodies made of polyolefin resins contains 50.0 parts to 90.0 parts by mass of a non-polar wax with a melting point of 50° C. to 100° C. and 10.0 parts to 50.0 parts by mass of a vinyl copolymer obtained by copolymerizing two types of monomers (b1) and (b2). The sum of the non-polar wax and the vinyl copolymer is 100.0 parts by mass. The monomer (b1) is styrene and/or acrylonitrile. To 100.0 parts by mass of a polyolefin resin, 0.5 parts to 10.0 parts by mass of the agent is added. The monomer (b2) is a methacryloxypropyl polyorganosiloxane.

Abstract: Provided are a copolymer having enough biocompatibility to be used in a medical material application, and a method of forming a crosslinked body, which involves modifying a substrate surface with the copolymer so that the surface may be biocompatible. More specifically, a protein adsorption-suppressing effect and a cell adhesion-suppressing effect, which are features of a phosphorylcholine group, are imparted to the substrate surface. It has been found that the object is achieved by a copolymer containing a phosphorylcholine constitutional unit, a hydrophobic constitutional unit, and a photoreactive constitutional unit at a specific ratio.

Abstract: There is provided a protein stabilizer containing a compound represented by Formula (1) as an active ingredient. Abstract: Provided is a volatile oil for cosmetics, which has excellent volatility, hair care properties and skin care properties. The volatile oil for cosmetics according to the present invention comprises a paraffin mixture, wherein the paraffin mixture contains an isoparaffin having 12 to 16 carbon atoms, has a boiling point ranging from 185 to 215° C. and has a 2,2,4,6,6-pentamethylheptane content of less than 10 mass %. The volatile oil for cosmetics according to the present invention can be used for, for example, a hair cosmetic and an external preparation for the skin.
