  • Patent number: 12017686
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for computing a backward looking surprise metric for autonomously driven vehicles. One of the methods includes obtaining first data representing one or more previously predicted states of an agent along one or more predicted trajectories of the agent at a first time step. Second data representing one or more states of the agent at a subsequent time step is obtained. A surprise score is computed from a measure of a difference between the first data computed for the one or more predicted trajectories for the prior time step and the second data computed for the one or more predicted states for the subsequent time step.

  • Patent number: 12019999
Abstract: Implementations relate to determining a well-formed phrase to suggest to a user to submit in lieu of a not well-formed phrase. The suggestion is rendered via an interface that is provided to a client device of the user. Those implementations relate to determining that a phrase is not well-formed, identifying alternate phrases that are related to the not well-formed phrase, and scoring the alternate phrases to select one or more of the alternate phrases to render via the interface. Some of those implementations are related to identifying that the phrase is not well-formed based on occurrences of the phrase in documents that are generated by a source with the language of the phrase as the primary language of the creator.

  • Patent number: 12020776
Abstract: Humanizing proteins can be a laborious process, often involving trial and error or other non-systematic methods. To improve humanization, neural networks can be employed to generate new protein sequences having higher probabilities of being humanized. In an embodiment, a method includes evaluating the immunogenicity of a sampling of protein sequences. The method can include weighting the sampling of protein sequences from the generative model according to an estimated probability of a particular generated protein sequence having a deviation in immunogenicity than a particular percentile of immunogenicity of the sampling of protein sequences. The method can further include generating a protein sequence weighted sampling of protein sequences. The generated protein sequence representing a protein has an altered immunogenicity. Such a generated protein has a higher likelihood of being humanized.

  • Patent number: 12018391
Abstract: Methods and systems for generation and deployment of a structurally altered gas molecules derived from water are provided. An example system includes a first container for combining purified water with a compound mixture being non-reactive with the water and a conductor of an electric field and a magnetic field. The system includes a magnetic field generator and an electric field generator designed to apply the magnetic field and the electric field to the combination of the purified water and the compound mixture to cause generation of the structurally altered gas molecules having a higher probability of attraction of electrons into areas adjunct to the structurally altered gas molecules than molecules of the purified water. The system further includes a second container for introducing the structurally altered gas molecules into an environment of a chemical process to facilitate electron transfers during the chemical process, thereby increasing output of the chemical process.
