  • Patent number: 12021836
Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing filters within computer networks include obtaining blocklist data that includes blocklist entries for a network. Each of the blocklist entries includes one or more network traffic attributes for identifying traffic to be blocked. In response to receiving the blocklist data, a filter based on a common network traffic attribute shared between at least two of the plurality of blocklist entries is generated. The filter is then deployed to a network device within the network such that the filter may be implemented at the network device to block corresponding traffic.

  • Patent number: 12022090
Abstract: A method includes receiving transform coefficients corresponding to a scaled video input signal, the scaled video input signal including a plurality of spatial layers that include a base layer. The method also includes determining a spatial rate factor based on a sample of frames from the scaled video input signal. The spatial rate factor defines a factor for bit rate allocation at each spatial layer of an encoded bit stream formed from the scaled video input signal. The spatial rate factor is represented by a difference between a rate of bits per transform coefficient of the base layer and an average rate of bits per transform coefficient. The method also includes reducing a distortion for the plurality of spatial layers by allocating a bit rate to each spatial layer based on the spatial rate factor and the sample of frames.

  • Patent number: 12018944
Abstract: A photonic device for detecting rotation and a corresponding method for operation thereof are disclosed. The photonic device includes a readout structure coupled to a ring resonator at one or more coupling points. Light is split between a lower waveguide and an upper waveguide of the readout structure in a forward direction at a beam splitter. The light in the waveguides traveling in the forward direction is coupled into the ring resonator and subsequently back into the waveguides in a reverse direction. The light is spatially phase tilted and is combined at the beam splitter. The combined light is detected by a split detector.

  • Patent number: 12016330
Abstract: Container system and method for freezing (and subsequently thawing) a liquid such as a drug substance, such that all containers in a set have a uniform width, hence uniform freeze-path length, in the widthwise direction and perpendicular to major walls of the containers, irrespective of the particular length, height, and volumetric capacity of the various containers in the set. This leads to uniform freezing performance and thereby reduces cryoconcentration. The system also eliminates or reduces ice-bridging, and the potential for containers rupturing during freezing and thawing operations.

  • Patent number: 12022281
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for secure communication between computing devices. A mobile device may communicate with an untrusted device to cause the untrusted device to send information (e.g., encrypted information that the untrusted device is unable to decrypt) to a server using an Internet connection of the untrusted device. The mobile device may have limited or no access to the Internet. To prevent potential security risks associated with using a public or untrusted device, the mobile device may encrypt information stored on the mobile device (e.g., stored in a mobile application associated with the server), send it to the untrusted device (e.g., by displaying a QR code to a camera of the untrusted device), and the untrusted device may send the information to the server via a network connection of the untrusted device.

  • Patent number: 12021539
Abstract: A translation reference loop frequency synthesizer for generating an output signal with sub-Hz frequency steps over a full octave. The synthesizer has a phase lock loop circuit and a translation reference loop. The phase lock loop circuit generates a phase lock oscillator output signal based on a phase lock feedback signal and a phase lock reference signal. The translation reference loop generates the phase lock reference signal based on mixing a translation reference frequency signal and a translation reference loop divided signal. The translation reference loop includes a series of translation loop dividers for generating the translation reference loop divided signal by dividing a frequency of the phase lock oscillator output signal. The translation reference loop includes a translation reference frequency generator for generating the translation reference frequency signal.

  • Patent number: 12022158
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for associating a subscriber's subscription profile established with a local media content delivery network, or MSO, with a remote CPE and/or network gateway device, perhaps for example served by the same MSO. One or more techniques may control the delivery of a subscriber's media content, perhaps for example by a media control device. Techniques may include receiving one or more credentials by the media control device, where the media control device is geographically remote from the subscriber's local media content delivery network. A signal may be sent to a media content delivery network device, where the signal may include information corresponding to the credentials. A configuration may be received for the subscriber's local media content delivery network in response to the signal. The configuration may be installed on the media control device. Media content may be delivered by the media control device.

  • Patent number: 12017808
Abstract: Technology is disclosed for a dispenserless multi-satellite launch configuration in which multiple satellites are interconnected to form a composite beam structure that provides stability independently of the launch vehicle. When in the launch configuration, the satellites are formed into a bundle, where each satellite connects by one or more simple connector along the edges of its inner facing vertical side to the satellite adjacent on each side. This composite beam structure provides a stable launch configuration independently of the launch vehicle. Each of the satellites also has one or more connectors along the bottom edge of the inner facing vertical side allowing the bundle to be attached to a ring type launch vehicle interface. Once launched, the satellites can be dispensed by releasing the connector.

  • Patent number: 12018585
Abstract: A rotor blade includes an airfoil having an airfoil shape. The airfoil shape has a nominal profile substantially in accordance with Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z set forth in one of Table I, Table II, Table III, Table IV, Table V, Table VI, Table VII, Table VIII, or Table IX. The Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z are non-dimensional values from 0% to 100% convertible to dimensional distances expressed in a unit of distance by multiplying the Cartesian coordinate values of X, Y and Z by a scaling factor of the airfoil in the unit of distance. The X and Y values, when connected by smooth continuing arcs, define airfoil profile sections at each Z value. The airfoil profile sections at Z values are joined smoothly with one another to form a complete airfoil shape.

  • Patent number: 12019690
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for caching structural elements of electronic documents. A plurality of indices is stored in a data store. The plurality of indices corresponds to locations within an electronic document of portions of a stylized sub-element. A mutation to the electronic document is received and it is determined that the mutation pertains to a style of the stylized sub-element. Based on the mutation and the plurality of indices, the stylized sub-element is updated, and the portions of the updated stylized sub-element are caused to be displayed at a user device using a different style.
