Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for printing sections of a part with integral locating and joining features. A system for joining part sections of a part having at least two separate sections includes a locating feature and a joining feature. The locating feature includes structures integrally formed with the sections to locate them relative to one another. The joining feature includes structures integrally formed with the sections to lock the sections together.

Abstract: A method including: receiving an input comprising natural language texts at an encoder; adding a token to the input; obtaining a last-layer hidden state as a natural language text representation; feeding the natural language text representation into a single-layer classification head; predicting a salience allocation based on the single-layer classification head; developing a salience-aware cross-attention (SACA) decoder to determine salience in the natural language text representation; mapping a plurality of salience degrees to a plurality of trainable salience embeddings; estimating an amount of signal to accept from the plurality of trainable salience embeddings; incorporating the salience allocation and the signal in a cross-attention layer model; and generating a summarization based on the SACA decoder and the cross-attention layer model.

Abstract: A system and method of immutable electronic health record data storage is presented. The present disclosure provides for a system integrated into a practical application with meaningful limitations to provide a system having an ‘immutable data storage protocol’ used to capture database operations on an immutable ledger. The protocol can consist of one or more ‘operation codes.’ The immutable electronic health record data storage system can provide a blockchain, transaction blockchain API, a blockchain writer API, a formatting module, and a messaging module, among others, that can format, process, and store data according to an immutable data storage protocol.

Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to a power supply device for controlling a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel in a reliable and power efficient manner. In one example, the power supply device includes a positive-side switching converter, a negative-side switching converter, and a controller. In an active-bias mode, the controller controls the positive-side switching converter and the negative-side switching converter to alternate a polarity of a bias voltage across a positive output node and a negative output node by alternating between a forward-bias state and a reverse-bias state. In a neutral-bias mode, the controller provides a neutral bias voltage across the positive output node and the negative output node.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process that formulates an inference that a first group of mobile devices are at ground level, and obtains, for the first group of mobile devices, positions and barometric pressure readings. Ground heights with respect to a common reference height are determined for the first group of mobile devices, and reference barometric pressures are calculated for the first group of mobile devices, at the common reference height according to the barometric pressure readings and the determined ground heights. At least a portion of the reference barometric pressures are combined to obtain a reference barometric pressure. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: An adaptable exercise apparatus designed to assisting those with reduced physical abilities, whether due to injury or age, perform a range of low impact exercises and stretches. The apparatus may include a stackable exercise platform having upturned lateral edges serving as ergonomically shaped gripping points. The apparatus may further include a cylindrical roller accessory component with terminal ends that are shaped to accommodate the upturned lateral edges of the stackable exercise platform. An individual may lay supine on the stackable exercise platform and push individual's body perpendicularly across the cylindrical roller accessory component applying pressure on the individual's spine and surrounding muscles.

Abstract: A carbon capture system can include a plurality of CO2 thermal swing adsorption (TSA) beds. The plurality of CO2 TSA beds can include at least a first TSA bed, a second TSA bed, and a third TSA bed configured to capture CO2 within a capture temperature range and to regenerate the captured CO2 at a regeneration temperature range above the capture temperature range. The carbon capture system can include a plurality of valves and associated flow paths configured to allow switching operational modes of each of the first, second, and third TSA beds.

Abstract: A technique updates a first data-processing engine based on reference information produced by a second data-processing engine. The technique involves obtaining ordered sets of result items from both engines, where the result items produced by the second engine serve the role of the reference information. The technique then produces accuracy information by assessing the accuracy of the first-set result items relative to the second-set result items. The accuracy information is a set-wide assessment that reflects how well the first-set result items match the second-set result items, taking into account the similarity between pairs of result items and the ordering of result items in the ordered sets. The technique then modifies a configuration of the first data-processing engine based on the accuracy information to improve its quality. In some implementations, the first and second data-processing engines are first and second map engines that generate routes through a physical space.

Abstract: An image sensor may include an array of image sensor pixels. Pixel control circuitry may provide control signals to the array of image sensor pixels. The pixel control circuitry may include a plurality of driver units that each generate a control signal for a different set of image sensor pixels. The control signal generated by each of the driver units may be delayed relative to each other. A voltage-controlled delay line may provide delayed outputs to each of the driver units. Delay lock circuitry coupled to the voltage-controlled delay line may fix the delay exhibited across the delay line using corresponding global and local bias voltages provided to each of the inverters in the delay line.

Abstract: A method includes receiving a collision notification signal indicating that a vehicle has experienced a collision. An airbag is disposed within an interior cabin of the vehicle, is deployable from a non-deployed state to a deployed state, and is configured to occupy an inflation region within the interior cabin in the deployed state. The vehicle includes an interior surface feature movable between first and second positions. The airbag is prevented from occupying the inflation region when the interior surface feature is in the first position. An actuator is coupled to the interior surface feature and configured to move the interior surface feature from the first position to the second position when the airbag deploys. Based on the collision notification signal, the method includes operating the actuator to move the interior surface feature from the first position to the second position to permit the airbag to occupy the inflation region.
