Abstract: A method and associated system for providing grid-forming (GFM) control of an inverter-based resource (IBR) connected to an electrical grid include monitoring the electrical grid for grid events that cause a change in one or both of grid frequency and angle. Via a controller, an active power response of the IBR to the grid event is controlled by changing an angle of the IBR voltage relative to grid voltage in a manner so as to mimic an active power response of an IBR having a certain desired impedance that may similar to or different from a hardware impedance of the IBR itself.
Abstract: According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the hybrid corn variety designated CH011179. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CH011179, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CH011179 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to genetic complements of plants of variety CH011179.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for determining behaviors of a user that are associated with earning secondary income. In one example, a method may include receiving a request from a user device, identifying productivity attributes and consumption attributes of a user associated with the user device based on behavior of the user captured over time, determining a recommended value-generating behavior for the user via execution of a collaborative filtering model, where the collaborative filtering model receives the productivity and consumption attributes of the user and determines the recommended value-generating behavior based on historical value-generating behavior of other users having similar productivity attributes and consumption attributes, and transmitting the recommended value-generating behavior to the user device via a content channel between the server and the user device.
Abstract: A quantum computing system configured for removal of leakage states can include quantum hardware including a first qubit and a second qubit, wherein the first qubit is configured to have a first transition frequency and wherein the second qubit is configured to have a second transition frequency, the first transition frequency being greater than the second transition frequency. The quantum computing system can include one or more quantum control devices configured to control operation of at least the first qubit and the second qubit, wherein the one or more quantum control devices are configured to implement a quantum gate operation on the first qubit and the second qubit based at least in part on the first transition frequency and the second transition frequency, and wherein the one or more quantum control devices are configured to periodically reset a quantum state of the first qubit.

Abstract: A method of quantization, adaptive block partitioning and codebook coding for neural network model compression, is performed by at least one processor and includes determining a saturated maximum value of a multi-dimensional tensor in a layer of a neural network, and a bit depth corresponding to the saturated maximum value, and clipping weight coefficients in the multi-dimensional tensor to be within a range of the saturated maximum value. The method further includes quantizing the clipped weight coefficients, based on the bit depth, and transmitting, to a decoder, a layer header including the bit depth.
Abstract: A hand-held rope tie is operable to releasably hold one or more portions of a rope. Pivotally connected arm members accommodate and hold the rope portions with a selected clamping pressure. The rope tie is adjustable to tightly grip and clamp onto the rope without slippage of the rope through the arms when desired.
Abstract: A magnetic field generator includes a plurality of conductive windings comprising a first conductive winding arranged in a first plane and a second conductive winding arranged in a second plane that is substantially parallel to the first plane. The plurality of conductive windings are configured to generate, when supplied with a drive current, a first component of a compensation magnetic field. The first component of the compensation magnetic field is configured to actively shield a magnetic field sensing region located between the first conductive winding and the second conductive winding from ambient background magnetic fields along a first axis that is substantially orthogonal to the first plane and the second plane.

Abstract: A kit for use in an endoscopic procedure on a patient comprises a device for use in the endoscopic procedure, such as an external accessory device for an endoscope or an endoscopic device configured for advancement through an opening into a patient. The kit further includes a coupler device for an endoscope that comprises a main body having a proximal end configured to attach to the distal end portion of the endoscope, and a mechanism for articulating an instrument passing through the endoscope so that instruments can exit the endoscope at various angles. The coupler device also provides a protective cover to reduce the ingress of debris, fluid, bacteria, or other unwanted matter from the working end of the endoscope which could lead to infection and decreased performance of the scope.
Abstract: A base station transmits, to a wireless device, configuration parameters of a secondary physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) group. The configuration parameters include a PUCCH secondary cell and a secondary cell. The base station transmits, during a first time interval, a command activating the secondary cell. The base station starts reception of channel state information, from the wireless device, for the secondary cell from a second time interval that is a positive number plus a pre-determined number of time intervals after the first time interval. In response to activation of the PUCCH secondary cell being completed in or after the pre-determined number of time intervals after the first time interval, the positive number is based on when the activation of the PUCCH secondary cell is completed by the wireless device.
Abstract: This invention provides a support device that can be attached to and detached from an unmanned submarine and can be attached with a photographing camera and an illumination light. The support device (100) of the present embodiment includes a first frame (10U, 10H) to which an unmanned submarine is attached/detached, a second frame (10B, 10V) formed corresponding to the first frame, and a support material (20) arranged between the first frame and the second frame so as to connect the first frame and the second frame and formed of a buoyancy material having a specific density of less than 1. Further, the support device includes a lighting mount (30) for an illumination light attached to the support material and a shooting mount (40) for a photographing camera attached to the support material or the second frame.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing group encryption are described. In certain methods, a content asset may be encrypted with an asset key. An account key may be determined. Using the account key, an encrypted content asset package may be generated. The asset key may make up at least a portion of the encrypted content asset package. The encrypted content asset package is decryptable with the account key. The encrypted content asset package and an identifier associated with the account key may be transmitted, for example to a playback device.

Abstract: A processor receives requests for content items and identifies a first subset of machine learning (ML) models that satisfy a reliability criterion and a second subset of ML models that fail to satisfy the reliability criterion, wherein each ML model is associated with a respective content template and is trained to output a probability that a target associated with an input set of characteristics would perform a target action responsive to being presented with a content item generated based on the respective associated content template. The processing logic assigns each request to either a first group or a second group based on a ratio of a number of ML models in the first subset to a number of ML models in the second subset. For each request in the first group, the processor generates a content item based on a content template associated with the first subset.
