Abstract: In example, a natural language input is processed to generate a formal query that is executed to retrieve data from a data store. An indication as to which subparts of the natural language input were used to generate the formal query may be presented to a user. The user may debug the query, such that associations between natural language input subparts and formal query subparts may be changed, added, or removed by the user. Further, a set of steps may be generated that provide an indication to the user as to how the formal query is executed, for example using sample data from the data store. The user may manipulate the sample data, thereby causing the presented steps to be updated accordingly. Once the user has made adjustments and has finished debugging the query, the revised formal query may be executed to retrieve updated data from the data store.

Abstract: A speech recognition system includes, or has access to, conventional speech recognizer data, including a conventional acoustic model and pronunciation dictionary. The speech recognition system generates restructured speech recognizer data from the conventional speech recognizer data. When used at runtime by a speech recognizer module, the restructured speech recognizer data produces more accurate and efficient results than those produced using the conventional speech recognizer data. The restructuring involves segmenting entries of the conventional pronunciation dictionary and acoustic model according to their constituent phonemes and grouping those entries with the same initial N phonemes, for some integer N (e.g., N=3), and deriving a restructured dictionary with a corresponding semi-word acoustic model for the various grouped entries.
Abstract: A method includes receiving a face image and lens measurements of a person, and selecting a three dimensional (3-D) model of a frame of a pair of smart glasses from a plurality of 3-D models of frames for placement on the face image of the person. The pair of smart glasses includes a virtual display embedded in, or overlaid on a lens. The method further includes sizing the selected 3-D model of the frame of the pair of smart glasses for placement on the face image of person based on the lens measurements of the person, and determining a gazability of the virtual display in the 3-D model of the pair of smart glasses placed on the face image of the person.
