Abstract: A User Equipment 210 (UE) determines 215 a maximum UL/DL duty cycle to utilize for a connection with a base station 202 based on a content of a UE capabilities request 212 sent by the base station, where the maximum UL/DL duty cycle is typically is less than a most restrictive, possible UL/DL duty cycle of the UE, yet allows the UE to remain SAR compliant. The UE may determine 215 the maximum UL/DL duty cycle further based on, e.g., requested frequency bands, operational UE transceivers, carrier components, UE power class, stored power data, etc. The UE communicates 218 the maximum UL/DL duty cycle for the connection to the base station, thereby resulting in more efficient downlink data delivery during the connection as well as increasing cell site coverage and overall system efficiency. The UE may store a global parameter whose value is indicative of the maximum UL/DL duty cycle.

Abstract: Flexible seal assemblies having a relatively low torsional rigidity and high longitudinal flexure to thereby allow the flexible seal assembly to flex between adjacent components and maintain a seal, even when movement between adjacent components occurs, is described. In some embodiments, the flexible seal assembly includes one or more layers of metal matrix material, the metal matrix material being comprised of a plurality of short segments of thin wire arranged randomly and sintered together to form a semi-rigid sheet. The one or more layers of metal matrix material can be sandwiched between an upper casing and a lower casing of a metal alloy casing. In various embodiments, additional features are provided for helping to make sure the seal assembly stays together, such as spot welds formed through the seal assembly, an S-shaped casing, and a recess/protrusion feature provided on adjacent layers of metal matrix material.

Abstract: A method for virtually representing human body poses includes receiving positioning data detailing parameters of one or more body parts of a human user based at least in part on input from one or more sensors. One or more mapping constraints are maintained that relate a model articulated representation to a target articulated representation. A model pose of the model articulated representation and a target pose of the target articulated representation are concurrently estimated based at least in part on the positioning data and the one or more mapping constraints. The previously-trained pose optimization machine is trained with training positioning data having ground truth labels for the model articulated representation. The target articulated representation is output for display with the target pose as a virtual representation of the human user.

Abstract: A system for performing projective tests includes a web server, a database server, and an artificial intelligence (AI) server. The web server is coupled with an electronic data network and configured to provide a man-machine interface via the electronic data network to a remote client. The database server manages test and training data and is coupled with the web server. The AI server is coupled with the web server and the database server, and configured to execute one or more AI algorithms. The man-machine interface provides administrative tools to control a content of at least one projective test where the content may include at least one projective stimulus comprising at least one of an image, a video, an audio file, and a text file. The man-machine interface provides administrative tools that control a display associated with the projective test.
Abstract: One embodiment is a redox flow battery system that includes an anolyte; a catholyte; an anolyte tank configured for holding at least a portion of the anolyte; a catholyte tank configured for holding at least a portion of the catholyte; a primary redox flow battery arrangement, and a second redox flow battery arrangement.
