Abstract: An solid oxide fuel cell stack having a metallic layer and a glass layer, and a method for preventing or reducing a chemical reaction between a metallic layer and a glass layer are disclosed. The solid oxide fuel cell stack has a barrier layer disposed between the metallic layer and the glass layer. The barrier layer includes alumina and a phosphate. The phosphate includes an aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, an aluminum-containing phosphate, a phosphate of an element of the metallic layer, a phosphate of an element of the glass layer, or combinations thereof. The method includes disposing a barrier layer between the metallic layer and the glass layer.

Abstract: Lock devices, systems, and methods including an internal mechanism to permit backdriven operation and lost motion operation. In one form, the lock includes an assembly of parts with locating features that assist in those parts being assembled with other parts of the assembly in a single, relative orientation. Further, lost motion may be utilized to accommodate manual displacement of one or more components that can also be displaceable, in some embodiments, via operation of a motor. The lock can also include an internal power source capable of driving electronics used to determine handedness of a door.
Abstract: Catalyst systems that are resistant to high-temperature sintering and methods for preparing such catalyst systems that are resistant to sintering at high temperatures are provided. Methods of forming such catalyst systems include contacting a support having a surface including a catalyst particle with a solution comprising a metal salt and having an acidic pH. The metal salt is precipitated onto the surface of the support. Next, the metal salt is calcined to selectively generate a porous coating of metal oxide on the surface of the support distributed around the catalyst particle.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly can include a plug connector mountable to a planar substrate and a receptacle connector configured to receive a plurality of cables and that can mate with the plug connector. The plug connector may include a first inline terminal row and a second inline terminal row exposed on a mounting face to conductively contact the planar substrate. The receptacle connector can include a plurality of terminals having termination ends aligned in common wafer plane that can be conductively terminated with the plurality of cables. The plug connector and the electrical connector are configured to establish electrical channels from the termination ends coplanar with the common wafer plan to the first and second inline terminal rows.
Abstract: An article for hanging on a support surface includes a substrate having a first end and a second end. The article includes a pair of rails with each rail including a recessed channel that extends in a longitudinal direction. A pair of splines is provided with each spline including a raised ridge that extends in a longitudinal direction. The raised ridge is inserted into the recessed channel. The article also includes a first pair of end caps. An elongated hanging element passes through the slots of the first pair of end caps. Wherein in an assembled state, one rail and one spline are disposed adjacent one another such that the raised ridge is at least partially inserted into the recessed channel and the substrate is captured within the recessed channel and the first pair of end caps are disposed over opposite ends of the one rail and one spline to join and hold the one rail and one spline against one another with the substrate captured therebetween.

Abstract: A secret sharing scheme with yes and no shares and having a hidden access structure. The secret sharing scheme may include share generation in which yes shares and no shares are generated for, and distributed to, each party in the secret sharing scheme. In turn, upon an attempt to reconstruct the secret, participants in the reconstruction each provide a share, which is unknown to be a yes share or a no share to the other participants. The secret is only reconstructable if the shares used in the reconstruction include yes shares of a minimal authorized subset of the parties. However, prior to secret reconstruction, the access structure remains hidden and the participants in a reconstruction are unaware of the character of the shares provided by other participants in the reconstruction attempt.
Abstract: A skid-steer implement allows for the rotation of a tool attachment relative to the body of the skid-steer by coupling an attaching element and a rotation attachment device with a shaft and force generating devices. The slim construction of the device allows for bucket rotation while limiting the tipping load change caused by the extension of the implement.
Abstract: A hydraulic fracturing system includes a turbine generator for producing electricity at a well site, the turbine generator producing electrical energy at a voltage. The system also includes an electric pump electrically coupled to the turbine generator and receiving operative power from the turbine generator. The system further includes switch gear arranged between the electric pump and the turbine generator, the switch gear distributing electrical energy from the turbine generator to the electric pump, wherein the voltage remains substantially constant from the turbine generator to the electric pump.
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure physical object-based passwords by registering an object password including first object representations, first background scene representations, and a first presentation sequence from first image data. Receiving second image data and a second presentation sequence that is a second order in which the user has presented second physical objects to an image acquisition device, and detecting in the second image data second object representations of the second physical objects, and second background scene representations. Computing a probability that the user is a permissioned user by inputting the first image data and the second image data into a machine learning model configured to compute the probability based on comparing the object password and the second image data. Tagging the user as the permissioned user or non-permissioned user based on the probability.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to method, device and computer program product for data backup. The method comprises: in response to receiving from a backup server a data stream to be backed up, dividing the data stream into a plurality of data segments; distributing the plurality of data segments to at least one computing node; in response to receiving an index of a corresponding data segment from a first computing node of the at least one computing node, looking up the index in a global index cache, the index being generated by the first computing node to uniquely identify the data segment, the global index cache storing indexes of data in a backup storage device; in response to the missing index in the global index cache, adding the index into the global index cache; and sending to the first computing node an indication to store the data segment in the backup storage device.

In one embodiment, a method includes: receiving, by a processor, head position data indicating a position of a head of a driver of the vehicle; determining, by the processor, pillar position data associated with at least one pillar of the vehicle; determining, by the processor, at least one angle based on the head position data and the pillar position data; determining, by the processor, at least one blind spot area based on the at least one angle; detecting, by the processor, at least one object within the at least one blind spot area; and generating at least one of notification data, decision data, and control data based on the at least one object.

The setting tool further includes a barrel piston sized and configured to extend at least partially over an exterior of the mandrel and a shear device coupled to a portion of the mandrel and coupled to the barrel piston when in an in-line configuration. The mandrel includes an upper portion having a lead portion, an engagement portion, and a wrench-application portion. The wrench-application portion has a longitudinal length in the range of 1.5 to 3.0 to receive a wrench and avoid damage to the shear device. Other tools are disclosed.
Abstract: A detected displacement of a marker on a vehicle is determined based on image data captured while the vehicle traverses a displacement object of a ground surface. Then a health status of a suspension component of the vehicle is determined to be unhealthy based on comparing the detected displacement of the marker to a target displacement of the marker. The target displacement specifies displacement of the marker that indicates the suspension component is healthy. The vehicle is operated based on the suspension component being unhealthy.
