Abstract: Implementations disclosed and claimed herein provide systems and methods for identifying and mitigating lug nut loosening. In one implementation, an indicator body of an indicator has a top surface connecting a front surface and a back surface. A first side of the indicator body is disposed opposite a second side of the indicator body. A receiver extends from the top surface into an interior of the indicator body. The receiver is configured to form a translational relationship of the lug nut with the indicator through a mating fit of the lug nut within the receiver. The translational relationship generates a corresponding rotation of the indicator body in response to a rotation of the lug nut. The corresponding rotation of the indicator body provides an indication that the lug nut is loose.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for generating improvement data, wherein the apparatus includes at least a processor, a memory communicatively connected to the at least a processor, wherein the memory containing instructions configuring the at least a processor to receive system data, wherein receiving the system data includes training and utilizing a web crawler to generate a web index of the system data, receive user data related to a plurality of users classify the system data and user data to a performance range category, and generate, as a function of the performance range category, improvement data.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a simplified mechanism to deploy and control a multi-segmented application by using application-based manifests that express how application segments of the multi-segment application are to be defined or modified, and how the communication profiles between these segments. In some embodiments, these manifests are application specific. Also, in some embodiments, deployment managers in a software defined datacenter (SDDC) provide these manifests as templates to administrators, who can use these templates to express their intent when they are deploying multi-segment applications in the datacenter. Application-based manifests can also be used to control previously deployed multi-segmented applications in the SDDC. Using such manifests would enable the administrators to be able to manage fine grained micro-segmentation rules based on endpoint and network attributes.

Abstract: A method of multi-platform social media advertising and revenue sharing via digital overlays on real-time video feeds enables a host streamer profile to select and display one or more advertisement elements on a real-time video feed, which is broadcast on a host social media platform in addition to being broadcast to one or more third-party platforms. The advertisements may be chosen through various means and customized by advertisers according to desired parameters. Each advertisement is associated with a financial compensation amount. After an advertisement or advertisements are displayed on the real-time video feed, the financial compensation amount is distributed among the host streamer profile, the host platform, and each of the at least one social media platform, thus incentivizing each to participate in the social media advertising and revenue sharing system.

Abstract: A material handling system has a vertical lift two vertically aligned carriages that are independently positionable on a vertical support structure by respective drive systems. A processor subsystem selects one of the two carriages to move an article from at least one in-feed conveyor to a selected level of an automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). The processor subsystem concurrently positions the other carriage to avoid a collision.

Abstract: A method of forming an aluminum alloy component including melting and solidifying an aluminum alloy, solution treating the aluminum alloy, and heat treating the aluminum alloy. The aluminum alloy includes scandium, zirconium, erbium, silicon, at least one of molybdenum and tungsten, manganese and the balance aluminum and incidental impurities. The concentration of the alloying elements, in atom %, is greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 0.15 scandium, greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 0.35 zirconium, greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 0.15 erbium, greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 0.2 silicon, greater than 0.0 and less or equal to 0.75 molybdenum when included, greater than 0.0 and less than or equal to 0.35 tungsten when included.

Abstract: System, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product are disclosed for sharing a reusable capability component among multiple web applications. A device is configured to operate a web browser to load at least a portion of a first web application and render a page of the first web application to be displayed on a display device. The page includes a placeholder to indicate a placement for a reusable capability component including a frontend component and an associated backend component. The frontend component and the backend component of the reusable capability component can form an independent web application that can be used by the first and a second web application. Upon detection of a user navigation on the placeholder, the device loads, from a server, the frontend component of the reusable capability component to be rendered and placed within the page according to the placement indicated by the placeholder.

Abstract: Methods and systems for restricting communication services over a network. The method includes detecting a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) register message originating from a specific network Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) that is included in a restricted PLMN list identified by a P-Access-Network-Information header (P-ANI). The method further includes implementing a policy to remove RCS and presence capability feature tags from a subsequent SIP register message. The lack of feature tags to Serving Call Session Control Function (S-CSCF) will prohibit triggering of Third Party Registration to different application servers.

Abstract: A comfortable inflatable pillow, manufactured to be affordably priced, designed to withstand the weather challenges associated with beaches, and other outdoor settings, by utilizing soft fabric that wicks away water and sheds sand, that has an attached pouch that can be filled with sand, or other weighted objects, to prevent the pillow from being blown around in windy conditions, that contains an internal pocket that can accommodate a tailor-made cooling and heating gel pack for hot or cold external temperatures, and that provides an optional incline position for added comfort when reading or surveying the landscape.

Abstract: The various implementations described herein include methods and systems for coding video. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a video bitstream including a current coding block of a current image frame and determining that the current coding block is to be predicted in a weighted bi-prediction (WBP) mode. The method further includes in response to the current coding block being predicted in the WBP mode, determining that the current coding block is associated with two bi-prediction blocks and identifying a plurality of distinct weighting factor lists including at least a first list of positive weighting factors and a second list of mixed weighting factors. The method further includes selecting one of the weighing factor lists, identifying a first weighting factor from the weighing factor lists, and reconstructing the current image frame, including determining the current coding block by combining the two bi-prediction blocks based on the first weighting factor.

Abstract: The invention of the present disclosure may be a temperature probe comprising a probe body. The probe body may comprise a tip, a tube, a sleeve configured to join the tip and the tube, the sleeve having one or more tapered ends configured to at least partially enter the tip and the tube, and an end, where a cavity may extend from the proximal end to the distal end, and where the cavity may be internal to the tip, the tube, the sleeve, and the end. The temperature probe may comprise a printed circuit board (PCB) comprising a proximal rigid PCB, a flex PCB, and a distal rigid PCB and a temperature sensor disposed within the tip. A battery may be disposed between the proximal rigid PCB and the distal rigid PCB, the battery at least partially surrounded by the flex PCB.

Abstract: An acoustic device with a manifold architecture is described. The acoustic device includes a primary waveguide and a manifold. The primary waveguide has a first end, coupled to an acoustic sensor, and a second end, a port open to a local area. The port receives airflow from the local area that includes sound pressure waves from a sound source and turbulent pressure waves. The sound pressure waves and a first portion of the turbulent pressure waves are detected by the acoustic sensor. The manifold includes a plurality of waveguides that are coupled to a portion of the primary waveguide between the first end and second end. The plurality of waveguides has openings to the local area. The manifold vents a second portion of the turbulent pressure waves through the openings, and the second portion of the turbulent pressure waves is larger than the first portion of the turbulent pressure waves.

Abstract: The system described herein provides the ability to efficiently back up and restore files within a service, such as a network-based file hosting service or a collaboration service. The system is configured to improve file restoration (may also be referred to as recovery) that occurs in response to an event (may also be referred to as an incident) that compromises a tenant device on which the files reside, thereby preventing access to the files or corrupting the files that are available to the tenant. An example of an event includes a ransomware attack. The described system utilizes a set of defined resources within a boundary to back up tenant files and restore the files. The resources include a metadata database and a blob store. The system combines mutable metadata with immutable content objects within the service to provide faster restoration than the conventional approach.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for creating, managing, and playing back a collaborative playlist. A platform server receives a request from a first of multiple users to insert a first media content item to the collaborative playlist. The first media content item is provided by a first media content service of multiple heterogeneous media content services. The platform server receives a request from a second of multiple users to insert a second media content item to the collaborative playlist. The second media content item is provided by a second media content service. The platform server generates a first entry and a second entry, each corresponding to the first and second media content items, respectively. The platform server inserts the first and second entries to the collaborative playlist.

Abstract: A vertical tunneling field-effect transistor and a method for its manufacture are provided. According to methods herein disclosed, oppositely doped source and drain regions are formed, and an APAM delta layer is formed in the surface of the transistor substrate, beneath a metal gate, in electrical contact with, e.g., the source region. A dielectric layer intervenes between the substrate surface and the metal gate. An epitaxial cap layer directly over the APAM layer forms a dielectric layer interface with a dielectric layer, which is located between the epitaxial cap layer and the metal gate. A vertical channel is defined for tunneling between the APAM delta layer and an induced conduction channel adjacent to the dielectric layer interface that is formed in operation, and that is in electrical contact with, e.g., the drain region.

Abstract: A method for coupling tissue includes aligning a guide tool on an outer surface of a first tissue; forming a bore in the first tissue aligned with the guide tool; deploying a non-slip suture construct through the (wide tool and into the bore; adjusting a saddle along a flexible member to a position adjacent to a soft anchor, wherein the saddle prevents the flexible member from slideably moving relative to the soft anchor; and threading the flexible member through a second tissue to secure the second tissue to the first tissue.
