Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining an actual cost of ownership of a purchase product may include determining a baseline value of the purchase product, and receiving usage information representative of usage of a user product from a computing device in communication with the user product. The purchase product and the user product may belong to a same class of products. The method also may include determining a user cost component based on the received usage information, and determining an actual cost of ownership of the purchase product based on at least the baseline value and the user cost component.

Abstract: A sump space unit for dewatering fuel in an underground fuel storage tank includes fuel filtration, coalescing, and water separation with water storage. The system includes a) a housing configured to be placed within a fuel delivery sump space above an underground fuel storage tank; b) A particulate media element within the housing; c) A coalescing media element within the housing; d) A water separation media element within the housing; and e) A water/fuel storage area within the housing. In one operational mode the flow is directed through at least one of the particulate media element, the coalescing media element and the water separation media element. In one operational mode the system receives water from the underground storage tank into the housing bypassing each of the particulate media element, the coalescing media element and the water separation media element.

The method further comprises determining a plurality of data types for supporting the interaction based on the interaction type. The method further comprises determining available communication types of a plurality of communication types for supporting the interaction. The method further comprises determining a first data type is restricted to transmitting via a screen to screen (STS) communication. The method further comprises determining a second data type of the plurality of data types is allowed for transmitting via a second communication type. When the available communication types include STS communication and the second communication type, facilitating execution of the interaction utilizing the STS communication for transmitting data having the first data type and utilizing the second communication type for data having the second data type.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for registration of e.g., mobile devices in one or more wireless networks. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide enhanced wireless services which enable operation of a given mobile device (e.g., a 3GPP-compliant UE) within two or more mobile networks (e.g., PLMNs) of respective different operators. In one implementation, the UE operates in dual-registration mode or DRM to allow different interworking between the two networks, and includes independent registration capability to 5GC and EPC infrastructure simultaneously. Accordingly, the UE is provided umbrella 4G/4.5G coverage over one or more small-cell 5G networks, with respective independent operators of each. Enhanced DRM-UEe capability as described herein advantageously allows for service provision (e.g., voice service) and interworking between the macro and small-cell layers of the system without complicated network configuration requirements between the two operating networks.

Abstract: Learning frameworks for processing text transcripts may include receiving, by an application, a query comprising a topic. A topic model may determine a plurality of subtopics based on the topic. The application may receive, from a database based on the topic and plurality of subtopics, a plurality of text transcripts. A sentiment model may compute, for each text transcript, a respective sentiment score based on a text of the respective text transcript. The application may determine, for each text transcript, a duration of a communication session associated with the respective text transcript. The application may compute, for each text transcript, a total score based on the sentiment score and the duration of the respective text transcript. The application may return, as responsive to the query, a subset of the plurality of text transcripts having a total score that exceeds a threshold.

The method includes obtaining a plurality of predefined weighting patterns, each weighting pattern being signaled as an index value and selecting a weighting pattern based on a predetermined condition. The method includes deriving a first weight to be applied to a first sub-block in the first reference picture and a second weight to be applied to a second sub-block in the second reference picture based on the index value corresponding to the selected weighting pattern. The method includes assigning the first weight to the first sub-block and the second weight to the second sub-block based on the selected weighting pattern. The method includes decoding the current block by a weighted bi-prediction based at least on the first sub-block weighted by the first weight and the second sub-block weighted by the second weight.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion having a back portion with a back wall portion. The back wall portion includes at least one rib portion extending from a center portion of the back wall portion toward a perimeter portion of the back wall portion. The at least one rib portion includes a rib portion height, a rib portion width, and a rib portion length. The golf club head also includes a filler material in the hollow body portion coupled to the rib portion. The rib portion width may vary along the rib portion length. In one embodiment, a method for a photon-counting computed tomography (PCCT) system comprises, adjusting an X-ray tube output current of the PCCT system across and/or within one or more views, the current adjusted between a first current and a second current, the first current higher than the second current; for a view of the one or more views scanned by the PCCT system, applying a first pile-up correction to a first photon count output at each detector of a detector array of the PCCT system at the first current, the first pile-up correction calculated based on a second pile-up correction applied to a second photon count output at each detector at the second current; and reconstructing an image based on the corrected first photon count and the corrected second photon count.

Abstract: An apparatus, system, and method for a waveguide system may be used to support eye tracking in a head mounted display (HMD). The waveguide system may be positioned in a user's field of view and within a lens assembly of the HMD to capture light that is reflected from an eye. The waveguide system may have a number of multi-directional gratings configured to direct light to an out-coupling grating. The multi-directional gratings include first and second in-coupling diffraction gratings disposed in a waveguide. The first and second in-coupling diffraction gratings are oriented to direct incident light in multiple directions within the waveguide towards the out-coupling diffraction grating.
