Abstract: A system and method for providing small animal veterinary care is provided. The system and method includes providing an enclosed garage adjacent to a veterinary exam room and the garage includes entry and exit garage doors at opposite ends of the garage. A vehicle holding a small animal is received into the garage through the entry garage door. Without going outside the small animal receives veterinary care, such as outpatient veterinary care, which may occur in the adjacent exam room. Following the provision of care, the vehicle exits the garage through the exit garage door. The garage and the veterinary exam room are located under a common roof, such that the small animal is able to be moved from the vehicle directly into the exam room without going outside.

Abstract: A method of powderizing a dry cake pharmaceutical drug product for injection within a vial may include securing a vial containing a dry cake pharmaceutical drug product for injection to a shaker device and powderizing the dry cake pharmaceutical drug product within the vial by shaking the vial with the shaker device operated at between about 100 to about 5000 cycles per minute for between about 10 minutes and about 1 hour.

Abstract: A device receives a transaction request concerning a transaction and a transaction card from a transaction terminal, and determines, based on the transaction request, information concerning the transaction card. The device sends, based on the transaction request and to a user device, a query concerning possession of the transaction card by a user of the user device, where the query includes an instruction for the user to confirm possession of the transaction card via a component of the user device. The device receives, from the user device and after sending the query to the user device, a response concerning possession of the transaction card by the user, and determines, based on the response and the information concerning the transaction card, whether the user has possession of the transaction card. The device performs, based on determining whether the user has possession of the transaction card, at least one action.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes litter platform support and positioning systems described generally comprising at least one lift column mounted to an interior floor in an emergency vehicle or structure. The lift column is connected to at least one support assembly, the at least one support assembly adapted to receive and position a litter assembly. In some implementations, the support assembly is connected to the lift column and adapted to independently adjust the litter assembly vertically, laterally, longitudinally, and rotate 360°. The litter platform support and positioning system further includes at least one individual motor associated with each lift column which is operatively connected to a drive screw to independently adjust and control the location of each support assembly to individually position a corresponding litter platform assembly.

Abstract: An arcade machine includes a support bracket; a gaming table detachably connected to the support bracket; and a control unit coupled to the gaming table. The control unit includes a control circuit board, a joystick, control buttons and a connection interface electrically connected to the control circuit board. The control circuit board, the joystick, and the control buttons are arranged on the gaming table, and the connection interface includes a video interface configured for connecting a display screen and an interactive interface configured for connecting to a computer or a game machine. The arcade machine can be connected to and is applicable to a computer and a variety of game machines, thereby obtaining more choices and experiences of game modes and improving the applicability of the arcade machine. The detachable design of the gaming table can effectively reduce the difficulty of handling and reduce transportation costs.

Abstract: Control systems and methods for an electrified powertrain of an electrified vehicle include performing, by a main control system, a sequence of first processes based on an initial input including a set of signals indicative of at least one of a driver torque request and expected vehicle behavior and other intermediary inputs to generate a sequence of first outputs and performing, by a secondary monitoring system distinct from the main control system, a sequence of second processes based on the initial input and other intermediary inputs to generate a sequence of second outputs. The secondary monitoring system then attempts to rationalize each first output relative to its respective second output. Based on the rationalization, one of these outputs is used as an intermediary output in the sequence until a rationalized final output is obtained and used to generate control commands for torque actuators of the electrified powertrain.

Abstract: A two-speed gearbox assembly includes a housing, a first planetary gear set configured to operably connect to an output of an electric motor, a second planetary gear set rotationally coupled to an output of the first planetary gear set, and a third gear set rotationally coupled to an output of the second planetary gearset. A first clutch is configured to selectively couple the first planetary gear set to the second planetary gear set, and a second clutch is configured to selectively ground a portion of the second planetary gear set to the housing. The gearbox assembly is selectively switchable between (i) an on-road first gear where the first clutch is engaged and the second clutch is disengaged, and (ii) an off-road second gear where the first clutch is disengaged and the second clutch is engaged to provide sustained high torque and low speed.

The methods comprise: using a voltage induced in an internal circuit of the security tag by a magnetic field generated by a detaching unit to power a controller of the security tag; receiving, by the security tag, a first signal sent from the detaching unit; selectively supplying power to an electro-mechanical lock mechanism of the security tag for a certain amount of time to cause a pin to be released from a lock, in response to the first signal; and communicating, from the security tag, a second signal indicating whether or not the pin was released. The voltage is no longer induced in the internal circuit by the detaching unit when the second signal indicates that the pin was released.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for routing of network traffic based on future utilization of a plurality of network devices. For example, future utilization for each of a plurality of network devices may be predicted. Then, based on the predicted future utilization, a route may be determined that comprises at least some of the plurality of network devices. An instruction to route data packets based on the route can then be sent to one (e.g. the first) of the network devices in the determined route.
