Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the preparation of a highly pure cannabidiol compound by a novel synthesis route. The cannabidiol compound can be prepared by an acid-catalyzed reaction of a di-halo olivetol with menthadienol, followed by two crystallization steps. The highly pure cannabidiol compound is produced in high yield, stereospecificity, or both, and shows exceedingly low levels of ?-9-tetrahydrocannabinol at the time of preparation and after storage.

Abstract: A wireless device receives an activation command indicating activation of a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for a first control resource set (coreset) with a coreset pool index of a plurality of coreset pool indexes of a cell. The wireless device receives, via a second coreset with the coreset pool index, downlink control information (DCI) indicating transmission of an aperiodic sounding reference signal (SRS) via the cell. In response to the receiving the DCI via the second coreset with the coreset pool index, the wireless device transmits the aperiodic SRS with a transmission parameter determined based on the TCI state associated with the coreset pool index.

Abstract: Embodiments discloses herein relate to methods of processing coal. A method to process coal includes subjecting raw coal to a liquefaction process effective to form a liquid pitch resin and subjecting the liquid pitch resin to a filtration process. The method further includes subjecting the liquid pitch resin to a low crystallinity spinning process to form a raw fiber. The raw fiber is then further subjected to a stabilization process configured to oxygen cross-link the fiber to form a stabilized fiber and then subjecting the stabilized fiber to a carbonization process to form a low thermal conductivity carbon fiber.

The memory film includes a tunneling dielectric layer in contact with the vertical semiconductor channel, a first vertical stack of first dielectric oxide material portions located at levels of the insulating layers and including a dielectric oxide material of a first element, and a second vertical stack of second dielectric oxide material portions located at levels of the electrically conductive layers and including a mixed dielectric oxide material that is a dielectric oxide material of the first element and a second element.
Abstract: Presented are thermal management systems with passive quenching sacks for cooling battery assemblies, methods for making/using such systems, and vehicles equipped with such systems. A passive thermal management (PTM) system is presented for cooling a battery assembly, such as a traction battery pack with a battery case containing stacked battery cells. The PTM system includes a fluid container that mounts inside the battery assembly, interposed between the battery case and battery cells. The fluid container stows therein a dielectric coolant fluid and has multiple fluid ports that fluidly connect to the battery cells to dispense thereto the coolant fluid. Thermomechanical plugs, such as wax, film, or smart-material barriers, seal the fluid container ports and passively open (e.g., melt, bend, disintegrate, expand, etc.) at a predefined temperature to thereby unseal the fluid ports such that the coolant fluid is fed from the fluid container into the battery cells.
