  • Patent number: 10733173
Abstract: A monitoring module interfaces with existing non-retrospective data storage systems, thus providing mechanisms for detecting and reporting changes in data values stored in such systems. The monitoring module acts as a change detection layer that can operate in connection with multiple disparate systems and/or locations, so as to provide users with a unified view into data stored in such systems. For example, a user can consult a single app, website, or software application, to view changes for data values stored in multiple disparate systems and/or locations; the app can be configured to automatically generate notifications and alerts to users, and can provide the ability to respond to such notifications and alerts, take actions, and/or dive deeper into underlying data.

  • Patent number: 10733057
Abstract: In one embodiment, undo and redo operations of an application are implemented using patchsets or changesets. When changes are made by the application, a transaction is performed against a relational database including one or more changes to reflect the changes made by the application. The one or more changes are tracked to produce a set of tracked changes. In response to detecting the transaction is to be committed, the set of tracked changes is converted to a patchset or changeset. The patchset or changeset is stored to a transaction table and the transaction committed. In response to a request to undo the changes made by the application, the one or more changes of the patchset or changeset are inverted to produce an inverted patchset or changeset, that is then applied. In response to a request to redo the changes made by the application, the patchset or changeset is applied as is.

  • Patent number: 10730490
Abstract: A failure detection and correction function which is able to detect a failure of an automatic braking system, and provide a corrected action. The failure detection and correction function is independent of the automatic braking function. The failure detection and correction function uses object coordinates and the speed of the vehicle to determine the collision risk, and then calculates a desired deceleration if there is imminent collision. The function uses desired deceleration to compare to a deceleration request from automatic braking function to determine if there is a failure. The failure detection and correction function takes corrected action to avoid the collision if the automatic braking function has failed.

  • Patent number: 10730643
Abstract: A spacecraft includes a main body structure and a plurality of deployable modular reflector elements, the spacecraft being reconfigurable from a launch configuration to an on-orbit configuration. In the launch configuration, the modular reflector elements are disposed in a storage system that includes an arrangement for supporting the modular reflector elements with respect to dynamic launch loads. In the on-orbit configuration, in some implementations, an assembly of the plurality of modular reflector elements forms a large-aperture, offset fed, reflector, the reflector being coupled with a boom or yoke with the main body structure by way of a two or three axis positioning mechanism configured to steer the reflector with respect to the main body structure. In some implementations, in the on-orbit configuration, the plurality of modular reflector elements are assembled to form a large aperture reflective surface that is self-supporting.

  • Patent number: 10734568
Abstract: A milliohm resistor is fabricated as a Josephson junction device that contains ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic material of sufficient thickness to render the device entirely resistive between terminals. The device can have a resistance on the order of milliohms and can be consume a much smaller chip footprint than resistors of the same resistance fabricated using conventional resistive materials. Because the device can be fabricated without modification to processes used to fabricate reciprocal quantum logic (RQL) circuitry, it can easily be incorporated in RQL circuits to mitigate flux trapping or to perform other functions where very small resistances are needed. In particular, the device can burn off circulating currents induced by trapped flux without affecting the transmission of SFQ pulses through RQL circuitry.
