Abstract: Disclosed is a new identifier allocation approach for allocating repository object identifiers beyond a maximum number usually allowed for a single repository. The new identifier allocation approach includes an enhanced identifier structure in which a portion usually reserved for a docbase identifier is modified to combine with a partition identifier. The actual docbase identifier is stored in a server configuration file. When the maximum number of object identifiers has been allocated, a new partition is created and a sequence table is updated with a new entry that reflects the new partition. A new repository object identifier is allocated using the docbase identifier combined with the new partition identifier. In this way, more than 4 billion objects per object type can be addressed uniquely within a docbase by creating new partitions. This new approach is very unique and flexible in accommodating both on premises and multi-tenant environments.

Abstract: A tokenization system receives a request for data anonymization, the request referencing unstructured/semi-structured content containing values of interest. The tokenization system performs a tokenization operation on the unstructured/semi-structured content, generates self-describing tokens for the values of interest, each self-describing token having a preconfigured pattern, an indication of a protection strategy, and a token value, and stores the values of interest in a secure data vault. The tokenization system may receive a request to reveal the self-describing tokens in the unstructured/semi-structured content. In response, the tokenization system searches the anonymized version of the unstructured or semi-structured content for the preconfigured pattern, identifies self-describing tokens, uses the self-describing tokens to retrieve the values of interest from the secure data vault, and produces a detokenized version of the unstructured/semi-structured content containing the values of interest.

Abstract: An information security monitoring system can import indicators of compromise (IOC) definitions in disparate formats from third-party source systems, convert them into editable security definitions in an internal system format, and provide a user interface for composing or editing these security definitions with enhancements, including complex security definitions such as those having a nested Boolean structure and/or those that reference one or more security definitions, a behavioral rule, and/or a vulnerability description. One or more whitelists can be added to handle exceptions. Each composed or modified security definition is then compiled into an executable rule. The executable rule, when evaluated, produces a result indicative of an endpoint security action needed in view of an endpoint event that meets the composed or modified security definition.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a new content server framework in which functionalities of a content server are implemented as lightweight microservices. At startup of the content server framework, a content server container and a set of microservices are launched. The content server container only has a content server application programming interface (API) which has a controller that can instantiate controller applications, each having a master module and worker(s). When a request is received, the content server API routes it to an appropriate microservice which stores the request in a repository. The master module retrieves the request from the repository and places it in a queue. The worker picks up the request from the queue and processes it. The controller keeps track of details of each controller application container that it instantiated (e.g., load and status) and automatically scale up or down the number of instances.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for the conversion of documents to reusable content types are disclosed herein. Embodiments may extract the content and metadata of the original document and identify a set of reusable resources from the content and metadata. These reusable resources can each be one of a set of content types common across a plurality of document authoring platforms. Each of the content types may be represented using a content type object associated with that content type. The reusable resources identified by the parsing of the content and metadata of the original document may thus be represented with corresponding reusable objects in a content type format common to a plurality of document authoring tools.

Abstract: A method for enhanced website navigation comprises receiving a first web page at a web browser, parsing the HTML of the web page to identify a favicon, associating the favicon with a link to a second web page and displaying the first web page in the browser window in a browser tab that includes the favicon. The method further includes listening for a user interface event with respect to the favicon portion of the tab and navigating to the second web page based on the user interface event with respect to the favicon portion of the tab.

Abstract: Cross-tabulation operation is performed within a columnar database management system. The columnar database management system receives a request to perform a cross-tabulation operation on a set of database tables. The columnar database management system determines values of cross-tabulation operation for each row of the result. The columnar database management system determines a domain for each value of the row dimension corresponding to a row combination. The columnar database management system determines an intersection set of the domains corresponding to values of the row dimensions for the row combination. The columnar database management system determines a value for the result column for the row combination as an aggregate value based on the records of the intersection set.

Abstract: Methods for generating content summaries in a web content management service, wherein in one embodiment a digital page editor and a component browser are launched to enable selection of a first content item. A summary of the first content item is automatically generated according to parameters that may have default values or values set by a user. The parameters may specify a size for the summary as a percentage of the first content item's size, as a particular number of lines, characters or words, as a size for a particular type of device, etc. The automatically generated summary is provided to the digital page editor, which can edit it and add it to the digital page. The summary is stored in a content repository as an independent summary content item with its own metadata.

Abstract: Systems, methods and products for accessing a set of electronic document templates, identifying instances of common document content such as content items which are semantically similar, and generating component templates containing the common content. Semantically similar content may be identified by analyzing content for factors such as expressed sentiment, included keyphrases, recognizable entities, expressed topics, assigning values to content based on these factors, and determining similarity based on comparisons of the assigned values. Component templates may also be generated based on types of content that include identical text or images, content that has a predefined level of similarity rather than being identical, content that has common rules, scripting logic or variables, metadata, etc. The component templates may be generated automatically, or in response to user instructions.

Abstract: A computer investigation system and method organizes information in a hive. Information in a target device is parsed by a processor, and facts and links are extracted from the data. The processor identifies the fact type for each identified fact, and further generates a fact ID for the fact. The information for the fact is stored in the hive in a fact table associated with the fact type. The processor also identifies the link type for each identified link, and further generates a link ID for the link. The information for the link ID is stored in the hive in a link table associated with the identified link type. A query language that is adapted to work with the hive allows querying of data stored in the hive.

Abstract: Multiple types of tokens can be generated and utilized in a highly structured document with freeform text. For example, a tokenization system may receive a request for tokenizing a document with a first portion having structured content and a second portion having unstructured or semi-structured content. In response, the tokenization system identifies sensitive information in the first portion of the document, generates format-preserving tokens for the sensitive information in the first portion of the document, identifies sensitive information in the second portion of the document, and generates self-describing tokens for the sensitive information in the second portion of the document. The self-describing tokens reference the sensitive information in the first portion of the document. The tokenization system may then communicate the format-preserving tokens and the self-describing tokens to the first client computing system or to a second client computing system.

Abstract: Systems, methods and products for intelligent delivery of communications, where a machine learning engine is trained to identify an output channel for delivery of a communication based on received context information and intended recipient information and to route the communication to the selected channel. An intelligent delivery task in a communication flow model is performed by the machine learning engine, which receives customer/recipient data such as age, region, gender, etc., and context data such as communication type, time of day, working hours, etc., and uses this data to determine which of a set of different channels is likely to be most effective for sending the communication to the recipient. A user therefore does not have to build a complex static communication flow, but simply adds an intelligent delivery task to the flow. The output channel is dynamically selected and may vary for different recipients and communications.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for the centralized configuration of distributed heterogeneous services is disclosed herein. Embodiments of such systems and methods may be utilized to configure one or more service instances executing in an enterprise computing environment where each of the set of service instance is one of a set of service types that may be different. These services may, for example, be off-cloud services associated with a cloud based computing platform.

Abstract: A method includes executing an application at a mobile device to provide a graphical user interface and interact with a content server to display an image stored at the content server on a display of the mobile device; while displaying the image, receiving a first user input for a first annotation to the image based on user interaction with the graphical user interface, the first user input indicating a first region of the image; based on the first user input, displaying a text entry box together with a selection box in the graphical user interface, the selection box defining a region of the image with which the first annotation is to be associated; receiving a first comment via the text entry box; and responsive to second user input, sending the first comment and a location of the selection box to the content server for storage as the first annotation.

Abstract: Embodiments may provide a document system that receives a responsiveness call from a user through the task/queue framework regarding a machine call document. Theses responsiveness calls may be used to refining the scoring algorithm used by the document system of to generate a desired confidence score for the document system.

Abstract: Embodiments of a fax system with adaptive protocol selection, and methods for such a system, are disclosed herein. Embodiments of a fax system may be adapted to selectively configure the protocol (both the type of protocol or aspects of a particular protocol) used in association with the transmission or reception of a specific fax. The configuration of the protocol utilized can be based on one or more attributes associated with a sender or a destination. The fax can then be transmitted or received according to those configuration parameters.

Abstract: Embodiments of content management systems in which compression and decompression may be performed at the client in cases where the client device or application may be capable of such compression and decompression while still allowing compression to be performed at the content management system when client devices or applications are unable to perform such compression or decompression are disclosed.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for synchronizing read-only folders from a cloud-based server. Users can set permissions when sharing folders with other users. The permissions are enforced by client devices of the users downloading content of the folders from the server. A folder at a user's client from the shared domain may include locally modified content and shared content. Based on an indication of a change by a second user to the folder at the server, the user's client modifies a local folder. To prevent local changes made by the user from being overwritten, the user's client identifies the folder containing locally-modified content as a local content folder not to be synchronized between the plurality of clients.

Abstract: A data processing system for artificial intelligence-based setting of controls in an evaluation interface comprising a data store storing: a plurality of transactions; a plurality of completed evaluations, each completed evaluation including an indication of a transcript portion associated with an evaluation answer. The system determines a word or phrase common to a first set of transcript portions associated with the evaluation answer; creates a first set of auto answer parameters that includes the word or phrase; auto answers the question for a set of test transactions to generate an auto answer for each test transaction; and based on a determination that the first set of auto answer parameters auto answered the question with a threshold level of accuracy, configures an evaluation system to use the first set of auto answer parameters to preset an answer control in an evaluation operator interface.

Abstract: A whitelisting approach to redaction may include receiving a normalization request containing a binary file with complex structured data, such as a workbook or spreadsheet file, from an application on a user device through a redaction service provided by an e-discovery platform. In response to the normalization request, a normalization process starts and runs asynchronously to apply a whitelist to the binary file. The whitelist is configurable and specifies features (e.g., data types, workbook object types, etc.) of the binary file that are considered safe by a party to a lawsuit or investigation. The normalization process includes a pre-processing stage, a transferring stage, and a post-processing stage to push all the data to a visible level and produce a normalized document with the whitelisted features. An artifact containing the normalized document can then be generated and used to render a normalized representation for interactive redaction.
