Abstract: Systems for generating content summaries in a web content management service, wherein in one embodiment a digital page editor and a component browser are launched to enable selection of a first content item. A summary of the first content item is automatically generated according to parameters that may have default values or values set by a user. The parameters may specify a size for the summary as a percentage of the first content item's size, as a particular number of lines, characters or words, as a size for a particular type of device, etc. The automatically generated summary is provided to the digital page editor, which can edit it and add it to the digital page. The summary is stored in a content repository as an independent summary content item with its own metadata.

Abstract: An information security monitoring system can import indicators of compromise (IOC) definitions in disparate formats from third-party source systems, convert them into editable security definitions in an internal system format, and provide a user interface for composing or editing these security definitions with enhancements, including complex security definitions such as those having a nested Boolean structure and/or those that reference one or more security definitions, a behavioral rule, and/or a vulnerability description. One or more whitelists can be added to handle exceptions. Each composed or modified security definition is then compiled into an executable rule. The executable rule, when evaluated, produces a result indicative of an endpoint security action needed in view of an endpoint event that meets the composed or modified security definition.

Abstract: Systems, methods and products for content management where a dynamic data service layer is provided between a content server layer to route requests from various content server instances to various database instances. The dynamic data service layer maintains an instance pool of available database instances and a connection pool of available connections to each database instance. A content server instance submits a corresponding request to the dynamic data service layer, which then examines the instance pool to identify a database instance that can service the request and examines the connection pool to identify an available connection to the identified database instance. The request is submitted to the identified database instance through the identified connection, and the responsive data is stored at a memory location which is accessible by the content server instance and can be read using a starting memory address and the length of the stored data.

Abstract: Systems, methods and products for accessing a set of electronic document templates, identifying instances of common document content such as content items which are semantically similar, and generating component templates containing the common content. Semantically similar content may be identified by analyzing content for factors such as expressed sentiment, included keyphrases, recognizable entities, expressed topics, assigning values to content based on these factors, and determining similarity based on comparisons of the assigned values. Component templates may also be generated based on types of content that include identical text or images, content that has a predefined level of similarity rather than being identical, content that has common rules, scripting logic or variables, metadata, etc. The component templates may be generated automatically, or in response to user instructions.

Abstract: Disclosed is a new identifier allocation approach for allocating repository object identifiers beyond a maximum number usually allowed for a single repository. The new identifier allocation approach includes an enhanced identifier structure in which a portion usually reserved for a docbase identifier is modified to combine with a partition identifier. The actual docbase identifier is stored in a server configuration file. When the maximum number of object identifiers has been allocated, a new partition is created and a sequence table is updated with a new entry that reflects the new partition. A new repository object identifier is allocated using the docbase identifier combined with the new partition identifier. In this way, more than 4 billion objects per object type can be addressed uniquely within a docbase by creating new partitions. This new approach is very unique and flexible in accommodating both on premises and multi-tenant environments.

Abstract: Methods for automatically suggesting content items to an author of a digital page so that they can be added to the page. One embodiment comprises a method that includes opening a digital page in a digital page editor and launching a component browser that enables the viewing of a set of digital content items stored in a content repository. Textual information is extracted from the digital page and the digital assets contained in the page. This information is analyzed to identify words indicative of the page's subject matter. A query is generated based on the identified words and submitted to a search engine, which searches the repository for items related to the subject matter of the page. The content items identified by the search results are displayed to the author, who can select one of the items to add it to the page.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a web content management system is coupled to remote resources via a framework that has one or more corresponding adapters which enable editing of content by invoking editors which are native to the respective remote resources. The system retrieves a content item from a remote resource and stores a copy of the content item in a local repository, while the original content item remains in the repository of the remote resource. A content item can be selected in in a local authoring tool, causing the system to examine the content item's metadata to identify the source repository and invoke the native editor of the corresponding remote resource, enabling editing of the content item using the native editor. The copy of the content item in the local repository can then be synchronized to the edited version of the content item in the remote resource.

Abstract: Embodiments of a multitenant content server that employs embodiments of a database architecture for use in multitenant environments that includes a global partition and a tenant partition for each tenant. These partitions can be accessed using sessions corresponding to the partitions and interfaces associated with the tenants.

Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed herein provide a search system with an pre-indexing filter that provides both a sophisticated and contextually tailored approach to filtering documents and a corrector that is adapted to alter a document that has been designated to be filtered out from the indexing process and determine if the altered document should be indexed. The alteration of the document may be tied to the attributes, rules or thresholds used to initially filter the document from the indexing process. The filtering criteria can thus be tailored to a specific context such that both the initial filtering and the alteration process may be better suited for application in that context.

Abstract: Distribution of electronic documents is described, including receiving an electronic document to be distributed, identifying whether a destination identifier is associated with a destination account among a known group of customer accounts, routing the electronic document, and calculating a fee associated with delivery of the electronic document based on whether the destination account is among the known group of customers and a set of billing rules. The set of billing rules may specify a discounted fee for routing an electronic document to each of a known group of customer accounts. In other aspects, the set of billing rules may specify a discounted fee for routing an electronic document to a first group of the known group of customer accounts and specify a standard fee for a second group of the known group of customer accounts.

Abstract: Embodiments of a fax system with adaptive protocol selection, and methods for such a system, are disclosed herein. Embodiments of a fax system may be adapted to selectively configure the protocol (both the type of protocol or aspects of a particular protocol) used in association with the transmission or reception of a specific fax. The configuration of the protocol utilized can be based on one or more attributes associated with a sender or a destination. The fax can then be transmitted or received according to those configuration parameters.

Abstract: Inter-modal messaging communication is described. In one embodiment, a method of communication includes receiving an electronic mail message to be distributed and determining whether the electronic mail message is a multi-modal distribution message. Respective portions of the message may be separated for each mode of distribution. The separated portions may represent portions to be delivered by SMS messaging and facsimile, for example. The method further includes the steps of transmitting a short message comprising the short message portion of the mail message and establishing a conversation comprising conversation attributes. The conversation attributes are referenced, in certain aspects, to maintain a conversation between an originator of the received electronic mail message and a distribution address of short message portion of the mail message. For example, upon receipt of a short message in reply, the short message may be forwarded to an originator of the conversation.

Abstract: An ingress server is operable to perform, through a multi-list evaluator, two different validations: one utilizes a sender network address of a sender's server to determine whether to trust, accept, or reject a connection and one utilizes a domain of a sender email address from an envelope to determine whether to accept or reject a message. The multi-list evaluator may perform the validations in two phases. If a connection can be trusted, the connection is accepted and any message over the connection (in a single session) is accepted and no further validation is necessary. Further, in both phases, the multi-list evaluator can utilize a whitelist maintained by the ingress server to override a blacklist provided by a blacklist supplier. This override can reduce false-positives and drastically reduce delays usually associated with correcting false-positives and improve system throughput.

Abstract: A method comprising communicating with a server to store first content, communicating with the server comprising: establishing a first plurality of content transfer sessions with the server to transfer the first plurality of content chunks to the server for storage in the distributed data store as associated content of an object, including establishing at least two parallel content transfer sessions to transfer at least two of the content chunks from the first plurality of content chunks to the server in parallel; and transferring each content chunk from the first plurality of content chunks and chunk metadata for that content chunk to the server using a corresponding content transfer sessions from the first plurality of content transfer sessions, the chunk metadata including the chunk id for that chunk and an indication of the object to which the chunk is to be stored.

Abstract: One embodiment comprises a method in which an integrated multi-user analytics server platform is integrated with a dynamic runtime ETL tool to allow dataflows created or developed in a dynamic runtime environment provided by the ETL tool to be saved in a novel dataflow file container. The method includes: presenting a user interface for an analytics server platform; receiving user input via this user interface indicating an action to be performed as to a first dataflow; the analytics server platform accessing a first file container corresponding to the first dataflow, where the first file container is stored in a data store connected to the analytics server platform; in response to receiving the user input, the analytics server platform accessing APIs of the dynamic runtime ETL tool to initiate the ETL tool, which then performs the action with respect to the first dataflow.

Abstract: A data processing system for artificial intelligence-based setting of controls in an evaluation interface comprising a data store storing: a plurality of transactions; a plurality of completed evaluations, each completed evaluation including an indication of a transcript portion associated with an evaluation answer. The system determines a word or phrase common to a first set of transcript portions associated with the evaluation answer; creates a first set of auto answer parameters that includes the word or phrase; auto answers the question for a set of test transactions to generate an auto answer for each test transaction; and based on a determination that the first set of auto answer parameters auto answered the question with a threshold level of accuracy, configures an evaluation system to use the first set of auto answer parameters to preset an answer control in an evaluation operator interface.

Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for user-defined automated document feature modeling, extraction and optimization. In the present disclosure, an end user of an automated document review system can customize and create new data models applicable to a set of focus documents. In addition, an end user of the automated document review system can customize and create new extraction rules applicable to text extraction from the set of focus documents. The user-defined edits to the data model and extraction rules can be further tested in a staging environment, and tested against a ground truth set of documents, before being widely applied to other relevant documents.

Abstract: Embodiments may provide a document system that receives a responsiveness call from a user through the task/queue framework regarding a machine call document. Theses responsiveness calls may be used to refining the scoring algorithm used by the document system of to generate a desired confidence score for the document system.

Abstract: A method includes executing an application at a mobile device to provide a graphical user interface and interact with a content server to display an image stored at the content server on a display of the mobile device; while displaying the image, receiving a first user input for a first annotation to the image based on user interaction with the graphical user interface, the first user input indicating a first region of the image; based on the first user input, displaying a text entry box together with a selection box in the graphical user interface, the selection box defining a region of the image with which the first annotation is to be associated; receiving a first comment via the text entry box; and responsive to second user input, sending the first comment and a location of the selection box to the content server for storage as the first annotation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing documents are provided herein. A plurality of documents and user input are received via a computing device. The user input includes hard coding of a subset of the plurality of documents, based on an identified subject or category. Instructions stored in memory are executed by a processor to generate an initial control set, analyze the initial control set to determine at least one seed set parameter, automatically code a first portion of the plurality of documents based on the initial control set and the seed set parameter associated with the identified subject or category, analyze the first portion of the plurality of documents by applying an adaptive identification cycle, and retrieve a second portion of the plurality of documents based on a result of the application of the adaptive identification cycle test on the first portion of the plurality of documents.
