Abstract: A management method that allows a communication device to benefit from a network connectivity provided by a third party via the operator network. The method includes: receiving, from the communication device, a request for attachment to the operator network and an identifier of the third party; obtaining, using the identifier of the third party, contact information of a software control gateway instantiated for controlling access to a network slice allocated by the operator to the third party, this contact information including a reachability address of the software control gateway or an identifier of the network slice allocated to the third party and access to which is controlled by the software control gateway; and sending a message to the device containing the contact information and inviting the communication device to attach to the software control gateway using this contact information.
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to the field of transport, particularly motor vehicles. A motor with predictive adjustment is described, as well as a motor controller of a vehicle, which is capable of automatically adjusting a physical parameter of a motor, such as the width of the air gap of an electric motor. A motor of a vehicle can include at least one physical parameter capable of being adjusted according to characteristic data predicted from the current path of the vehicle based on data provided by at least one vehicle motor sensor. Thus, the motor can be automatically adjusted according to characteristic data predicted from the current path based on the data of a motor sensor for optimizing the use of the motor, with respect to a parameter such as power consumption, transmission efficiency, or rotor warming, regardless of the route.

Abstract: A system includes a user interface for allowing a user to select a data stream to be played, a receiver for receiving the data stream to be played and a transmitter for transmitting the received data stream to a device that is capable of playing the stream. The system includes a first and a second device, which are separate from one another. The first device, called a receiving device, integrates the receiver and the transmitter. The second device, called a control device, integrates the user interface and, following the selection, by a user, of a stream to be played and preview on the control device, transmits to the first device a command for playing the selected stream, the command containing data for locating the selected stream. Abstract: A method for transmitting in a communication network uplink data from an application module in a user terminal. Abstract: A method and a device for authenticating a user. A signal representative of at least one character traced by the user on a surface of a transmitter device is received by the authentication device. The transmitter device includes an antenna able to transmit a radio signal to a terminal of the user via a channel using the electromagnetic wave conduction capabilities of the body of the user when the hand of the user traces the at least one character on or close to the surface of the transmitter device. The authentication device checks whether the received signal corresponds to a previously stored control signal and, in the event of a positive check, confirms authentication of the user.
Abstract: A method is described of evaluating the energy consumption of a service unit rolled out, or intended for being rolled out, on a given infrastructure of a communications network. The method includes determining the energy consumption W_no measured on the infrastructure in the absence of the service unit, determining the energy consumption W_yes measured on the infrastructure in the presence of the service unit, and obtaining the energy consumption induced by rolling out the service unit by calculating the difference (W_yes?W_no). The disclosed technology is applicable to 5G networks.
Abstract: A method for managing an incoming call in a communication terminal is described, the incoming call having an associated call identifier. The method can comprise checking the routing of an outgoing call to the call identifier associated with the incoming call, and classifying the incoming call on the basis of the result of the checking of the routing, the incoming call being classified as a malicious incoming call if the checking of the routing reveals that the outgoing call is not able to be routed. The method can be used, for example, to detect malicious calls or spam.

A rendering zone has a width/height ratio different from the width/height ratio of the source multimedia content. Abstract: A method for processing a request for anonymisation of a source IP address of an IP packet is described, the IP packet being transmitted by a transmitting device to a recipient device via a communications network, the transmitting device being connected to the network via a network terminal apparatus. Abstract: An order consolidation system and method in a storage facility is disclosed. An item received at an order consolidation station by way of a robotic apparatus is transferred by the order consolidation station to another robotic apparatus by way of instructions received from a control server. The control server detects a side of the order consolidation station at which the robotic apparatus arrives, compares received data of placed items on the order consolidation station with stored data to determine a match between the received data and the stored data, and controls the transfer based on the match between the received data and the stored data and detection of the robotic apparatus at the other side of the order consolidation station. The transport of the robotic apparatus with the items to a packaging station is further controlled by the control server for packaging an order.
Abstract: A method for allocating a point-to-point channel to a user module of an optical communication network. The network includes user modules and optical terminations, and supports point-to-multipoint channels and a plurality of point-to-point channels, one same point-to-point channel being assigned to one single optical termination. The method is implemented for a user module called a requester user module, and includes: detecting a predetermined availability signal conveyed by a point-to-point channel of the plurality of point-to-point channels; and allocating the point-to-point channel over which the predetermined availability signal is conveyed, called available point-to-point channel, to the requester user module.
Abstract: An Integrated Access and Backhaul (JAB) node incorporates two functions, a so-called “base station” function and a so-called “mobile terminal” function. In order to limit the interferences between base stations, all IAB nodes in the same network must be synchronised with one another. In order to ensure this synchronisation, each IAB node may use a time shift value transmitted by its parent node. However, since an IAB architecture is an arborescent architecture, errors in measuring an estimated time shift value for a given IAB node have repercussions on the measurements of estimated time shift values for its child node and so on. Accordingly, the “base station” function of a child IAB node is not activated as long as a time shift value determined by its parent node does not meet a synchronisation criterion.
Abstract: Wireless communication devices, systems, and methods for decoding data packets for establishing latency-critical services. Each mobile station transmits multiple copies of a same data packet over a contention-based multiple access uplink channel without prior reservation of resources. Then, for a given mobile station, copies of a data packet are transmitted over identified resources of the channel, in a sequence known to the base station. Thus, for each mobile station, the base station knows which channel resources to look at in order to perform its decoding in a facilitated manner.
