Abstract: A lift and recliner mechanism for use in seating units is provided that allows the ottoman to be extended independently of the back recline. In some aspects, the seat pitch is changed through a linkage as the ottoman extends, and as the back reclines. In other aspects, the seat pitch is changed using a separate motor. The seating unit can be moved to a lifted position, a TV position, a fully-reclined position, or a zero-gravity position with the ottoman partially extended, the seat pitch partially changed and the back partially reclined.

The switch can be an energy harvesting switch that requires no batteries or no dedicated power source (i.e., not hardwired).

Abstract: A bedding foundation has a linear actuator for moving a roller carriage forward and backwards. The roller carriage includes wheels which move along rails supported below a rigid platform having an opening extending through the platform. The roller carriage includes a lifter which raises and lowers a roller independently of the movement of the linear actuator. Regardless of the position of the linear actuator, the roller may be raised or lowered. The roller moves back and forth inside the opening extending through the rigid platform and imparts a massage movement to a mattress above the foundation.

Abstract: An adjustable bed base may be folded in half for shipping without removing the leg assemblies. The leg assemblies are adjustable in length and may be secured in a raised position to facilitate folding the adjustable bed base. To change the length of the leg assembly, a hollow leg is moved inside a hollow receiver and fixed in place by a first push pin assembly. A second push pin assembly inside the hollow receiver fixes the leg assembly in a lowered position and a raised position for storage or shipment. Each hollow receiver is pivotally secured to a mounting bracket welded to a foldable frame of the adjustable bed base.

Abstract: A form for a vehicle component is provided that includes a commingled fiber bundle composed of a reinforcement fiber. The commingled fiber bundle is laid out in a two-dimensional base layer that defines a shape of the form. A conductive fiber or wire laid in a pattern on the two-dimensional base layer to provide electrical continuity across the form. At least one conductive contact or pad area is built up with overlying layers of the conductive fiber or wire on said two-dimensional base layer. A successive layer is added to embed the conductive fiber or wire and at least one conductive contact or pad area. A conductive fastener is inserted into through hole apertures therein. The conductive fastener is in electrical communication with the corresponding conductive contact or pad area. A method of forming a unitary reinforced composite component is also provided.

Abstract: A conduit coupling assembly facilitates connection of liquid-tight tubing with a conduit section through which associated electrical wiring and/or cables are routed. The assembly includes a transition coupling, which is joined to male and female, liquid-tight connectors. The coupling assembly is joined to the conduit and projects above an associated concrete slab or the like to position the liquid-tight connectors for efficiently joining associated liquid-tight tubing to the conduit. The conduit coupling assembly thus particularly facilitates routing of wiring from a conduit section positioned within a concrete slab or like flooring element, through the transition coupling, and the liquid-tight connectors.
Abstract: A vibration isolation system for compactly mounting a vibrating component, such as an air compressor, to an object, such as an air tank, is described. The system may include a rod and bumper system to isolate the vibrations generated by the air compressor from the vehicle or object that it is mounted to. A primary isolation subsystem may include a rod suspension design which consumes significantly less space than existing solutions. The rod is able to achieve equal spring rates in any direction.
Abstract: Disclosed is an operation pedal for a simulation device. The present invention comprises: a fixing shaft horizontally installed; a pedal main body mounted on the fixing shaft and rotatable in the forward and backward directions by an external force; a foothold mounted on the upper surface of the pedal main body and rotatable in the left and right directions by an external force; a forward and backward rotation sensing means for sensing a forward and rearward rotation of the pedal main body and transmitting a signal thereof; and a left and right rotation sensing means for sensing a left and right rotation of the foothold and transmitting a signal thereof. According to the present invention, a user can easily operate and control various action motions of a play object in a program by using both feet, such that more various motions or environments can be applied.
Abstract: A mobile safety fall arrest cart is provided. The mobile safety fall arrest cart is configured to move along an edge of an elevated surface as a worker works along the edge. The worker is connected to the cart with a safety line. If the worker falls from the elevated surface, the weight of the worker causes a spike assembly to move from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. In the deployed configuration, a spike member engages the elevated surface so as to assist in arresting the worker's fall.
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for analyzing financial risk of a financial security. A video is displayed by the computer system on a mobile display system. Object detection is performed on the video to identify a fixed asset in the video. The computer system identifies a financial security supported by the fixed asset identified in the video. An overlay of financial data about the financial security is displayed in association with the fixed asset in the video. The financial data includes a financial model of the financial security and an assumption of the financial model. The assumption of the financial model is updated based on a status of the fixed asset in the video. The financial risk of the financial security is analyzed based on the financial model and the assumption that was updated.
