The first section has a first end surface configured for positioning against the first bone. The graft is configured for stabilizing the first section relative to the first bone. A first fastener is configured for mounting to the graft and the first section to anchor the graft to the first section. A second fastener is configured for mounting to the graft and the first bone to anchor the graft to the first bone.
Abstract: A surgical system and method involve a robotic system that has a moveable arm that supports an end effector relative to a surgical site to remove material from a bone. A scanner scans the surgical site and detects a vessel on the bone. Controller(s) is/are coupled to the robotic system and the scanner. The controller(s) obtain image data of the bone and receive, from the scanner, positional information of the vessel on the bone. The controller(s) input the positional information of the vessel to the image data of the bone and generate a boundary for the vessel. The controller(s) register the boundary to the bone for navigation and control the robotic system to remove material from the bone with the end effector and prevent interaction between the end effector and the vessel with the boundary.

Abstract: A system is provided for securely tracking submissions of commodity trades for commodities. The system receives from a price reporter a report on commodity trades between the price reporter and another entity. Each commodity trade includes pricing information and a location of delivery of the commodity. The system generates a hash of the report as evidence of the commodity trades of the report. For each commodity trade of the report, the system maps the location of that commodity trade to an assessment of pricing information such that the commodity trade is to be included in the assessment. The system provides to the price reporter the hash of the report as evidence of the commodity trades. The system provides to the price reporter a listing of the commodity trades of the report for each commodity trade. The listing identifies each assessment that includes that commodity trade.

Abstract: A sound suppressor, comprising an elongate tubular housing, a projectile entrance passage at a rearward portion of the elongate tubular housing, and a plurality of tubes positioned within the elongate tubular housing. In at least one example, the plurality of tubes may be offset from the elongate tubular housing and offset from a central axis of the elongate tubular housing.
Abstract: Process for grinding heterogeneous matrices comprising fragile materials and plastic materials, comprising the steps of: (i) introducing in a mill or similar device a heterogeneous matrix comprising plastic materials and fragile materials of variable dimension; (ii) applying, by suitable moving actuator means, kinetic energy to said heterogeneous matrix, by projecting the materials of the matrix at high speed against suitable fixed stop means provided on said mill; (ill) proceeding to grinding under the effect of impacts occurring between the material projected by the actuator means and the material accumulated on said stop means; (iv) discharging the portion of processed material reduced under a prefixed maximum diameter, characterized in that said stop means are configured so that they can hold removably the material projected against the same in an outer region with respect to the volume interested by the movement of said actuator means.

Abstract: An adjustment system including an adjustable support, a driving arrangement, a locking arrangement and a motor. The adjustable support includes a base including a bore having an open mouth; a screw being movable received in the bore while having a free end configured to project past the open mouth of the bore; and a driver being arranged in driving engagement with the screw, whereby a rotation of the driver results in a linear movement of the screw along the longitudinal extension of the bore. The driving arrangement includes a driver actuator arranged to be driven by the motor. Further, a method of orienting an element relative to a reference plane is provided.
Abstract: A power supply apparatus (10) suppressing a transient voltage is applied to an input voltage (50). The power supply apparatus (10) includes a power supply circuit (20), a feedback signal generation circuit (30) and a feedback signal control circuit (40). If the power supply circuit (20) stops receiving the input voltage (50), the feedback signal control circuit (40) controls the feedback signal generation circuit (30) to discharge so that the feedback signal generation circuit (30) controls the power supply circuit (20) to decrease an output voltage (60), so that when the power supply circuit (20) receives the input voltage (50) again, the power supply circuit (20) avoids generating an output overvoltage condition for the output voltage (60).
Abstract: Methods and combinations for making and using one or more thermally conductive cellular foam layers comprising flexible cellular foam and metallic material particulates, and said thermally-conductive cellular foam layers may be located on, under, or in cushioning foams and mattresses or placed between on, under, within, or between other layering substrates to increase the overall cooling capability of the composite. The thermally conductive foam may be used in mattresses, pillows, bedding products, medical cushioning foams, and similar materials used in bedding environments.

Abstract: A flexible foam composition comprising a flexible foam structure comprising a plurality of struts, and a plurality of fibers, where a majority of the fibers are associated with the struts. The fibers may be thermally conductive fibers. The fibers include, but are not necessarily limited to, homopolymer and/or copolymer fibers having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of ?50° C. (?58° F.) or greater, carbon fibers, animal-based fibers, plant-based fibers, metal fibers, and combinations thereof. The presence of fibers can impart to the flexible foam composition greater indentation force deflection (IFD), greater static thermal conductivity, improved compression set, improved height retention or durability, and/or a combination of these improvements.

Abstract: A method of determining controversy voice share is provided. The method comprises identifying keywords related to a controversy topic and identifying information sources relevant to the controversy topic based on occurrences of the keywords within each source. An external voice score is calculated for an organization regarding the controversy topic, wherein the external voice score is calculated based on information sources that are external to the organization. An internal voice score is calculated for the organization regarding the controversy topic, wherein the internal voice score is calculated based on information sources internal to the organization. An overall voice share of the organization is then calculated from the external voice score and internal voice score. The overall voice share of the organization represents a proportion of influence the organization contributes to public commentary on the controversy topic relative to other organizations within a same industry sector.
