Abstract: A method for visualizing corporate hierarchies is provided. The method comprises receiving a selection of a first company stored in a database and retrieving, from the database, an ultimate parent company of the first company. All other known companies with the same ultimate parent company as the first company are then retrieved from the database. An interactive hierarchical tree diagram is displayed in an interface, wherein the first company, the ultimate parent company, and the other known companies with the same ultimate parent company are displayed as nodes according to parent/child relationships among the companies. Also displayed in the interface, adjacent to the tree diagram, is a collapsible nested tree list comprising the first company, the ultimate parent company, and the other known companies with the same ultimate parent company. The tree diagram and nested tree list have synchronized responses to user input.

Abstract: A powdered catalyst material on a titanium oxide basis. The powdered catalyst material includes a combined content of at least 90 wt.-% of a hydrated titanium oxide having the general formula TiO(2-x)(OH)2x, with 0<x?1, (calculated as TiO2), and a silicon dioxide and hydrated precursors of the silicon dioxide (calculated as SiO2). A weight ratio of TiO2/SiO2, determined for TiO2 and SiO2 respectively, is at least 3 and less than 30. The wt.-% is based on a total weight of the catalyst material after the catalyst material has been dried at 105° C. for at least 2 hours. The powdered catalyst material has a specific surface area of >300 m2/g and an isoelectric point of from 4.0 to 7.0.
Abstract: Disclosed is a novel organic electroluminescent compound represented by Formula (I): The organic electroluminescent compound is employed as a material for at least one organic layer of an organic electroluminescent device such as a light emitting layer, a hole transport layer, an electron transport layer, an electron blocking layer, and/or a capping layer, achieving excellent luminescent properties (including high luminous efficiency and quantum efficiency) of the device. Also disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device including the organic electroluminescent compound.
Abstract: Provided herein are apparatuses and systems for mixing liquids and suspensions that include vessels with structures that improve mixing while not contacting liquid delivery components. The apparatuses and systems can include a motor drive that allows speed and directional control of rotation of the vessel. The apparatuses and systems can include one or more magnets for separating magnetic beads in a suspension. Also provided are methods using said apparatuses and systems for mixing and separation processes.

Abstract: A method of information retrieval is provided. The method comprises receiving a query from a user and parsing the query in real-time as the user enters the query. The parsed query is interpreted dynamically based on a defined schema of a knowledge base, and a number of query interpretations is displayed in real-time as the user enters the query. When a selection of one of the query interpretations is received from the user information is retrieved from the knowledge base according to the selected query interpretation.

Abstract: A claw mechanism for an amusement game such as an arcade crane game is disclosed with a movable leg or prong that pivots about a pin to capture a target at the target's upper rim. The prong is actuated by a solenoid that retracts a rod, causing the prong to pivot inward toward a pair of stationary prongs or fixed support such as a half tube. The prong may be formed with a notch that is configured to engage the rim of an aluminum can for lifting the target/prize off a turntable and into a retrieval bin.
Abstract: A braided sleeve is formed having complex geometry, including multiple geometries along the braided sleeve's longitudinal axis. In particular, along a first portion of the braided sleeve's longitudinal axis, multiple tows are intertwined with each other. Along a second portion, at least one of the tows is removed from being intertwined with the other tows and is relocated to an interior or an exterior of the braided sleeve. A third portion of the braded sleeve along the longitudinal axis includes the removed tow being intertwined with the plurality of tows again. In this manner, the braided sleeve may provide coverage of preforms with varying diameters along the longitudinal axis of the preforms.
Abstract: An organ implant, such as a heart implant, including a support structure having a plurality of pores and defining passages configured for the growth of blood vessels; and stem cells from at least one soft tissue source of a patient deposited into the pores of the support structure is described. The implant is configured to repair a portion of an organ of the patient.
Abstract: A flexible foam composition includes a flexible foam body having a surface, which flexible foam is polyurethane and/or latex flexible foam, and an expandable graphite layer on the surface or within the foam surface adjacent to the surface. Abstract: An iontophoresis system includes a preloaded reservoir containing one or more doses of a therapeutic agent. As a result, the therapeutic agent does not have to be loaded into the reservoir prior to use. In such a system, the preloaded reservoir is generally disposable. Various components of the iontophoresis system can be combined with the reservoir in a disposable cartridge that is selectively connectable to other, reusable components of the iontophoresis system. In addition, the entire iontophoresis system can be formed from one or more disposable, one-time-use modules.
