A system utilizing such techniques can include a stateful context-based user interaction management system and a stateful context-based interaction engagement device. A method utilizing such techniques can include selecting content to produce at a stateful context-based interaction engagement device according to contexts associated with user interactions with the stateful context-based interaction engagement device and causing the stateful context-based interaction engagement device to produce the selected content in response to the user interactions.

Abstract: A smart toy is provided. The smart toy includes a housing forming a zoomorphic shell for housing internal components. The smart toy also includes a microphone for receiving an audio signal from a child and a speaker for playing a responsive audio signal to the child. The smart toy further includes an actuator button and a microprocessor for establishing a voice call with a remote server when the actuator button is pressed. The microprocessor processes the audio signal received from the child and sends the audio signal to the remote server. The remote server processes the audio signal using a dialog engine and a knowledge database to generate the responsive audio signal which is tailored to the child and responsive to the audio signal. The remote server sends the responsive audio signal to the microprocessor to be played to the child.

Abstract: A consumer premise equipment (CPE) which may comprise a processor, a storage medium, and an antenna, wherein the processor may be operatively coupled to the storage medium and the antenna to receive, from multiple antennas of a hub station, a first beam training announcement signal that may inform the CPE to be ready to receive a beam training packet using one or more beams, wherein the beam training packet may include a plurality of symbols that are each beamformed using a different beamformer or precoder; and send, to the hub station, a beamforming feedback report based on measurements taken by the CPE, possibly as a result of the CPE receiving the first beam training announcement signal.

Abstract: A wireless apparatus comprising: i) an intermediate frequency (IF) unit configured to transmit and to receive IF signals; and ii) a radio frequency (RF) unit configured to transmit and to receive RF signals via an antenna and to receive IF signals from the IF unit and to transmit IF signals to the IF unit. The RF unit comprises: iii) a first sensor coupled to a first port of the RF unit, wherein the first sensor is configured to determine whether an incoming IF signal transmitted by the IF unit is present on the first port; and iv) a first transceiver configured to be controlled by the first sensor. The first transceiver is switched to transmit mode in response to the first sensor determining that an incoming IF signal is present on the first port.

The method may include receiving an HTTP response from the server, the response including the data object, the data object including a self entity including a URI and a content type of the data object, passing the data object to the runtime executable program at the runtime executable program interpreter for processing. The runtime executable program may communicate with the server using the URI and content type of the data object. Cache controls and an HREF may also be contained in the self entity.

Abstract: The present application provides a novel drug screening platform designed to identify drugs that favorably modulate cellular bioenergetics in the human brain of a zebrafish which has been modified by altering a teleost gene that corresponds to a human gene associated with a brain dysfunction disorder (such as epilepsy). The drug screening platform are also useful for determining a mutation in a human gene associated with a brain dysfunction disorder that is associated with a human individual responsive to the treatment of a compound. Also provided are modified teleosts useful for the methods described herein.

The method may include generating a data object in response to an HTTP request, sending the data object to each of the link resource servers, and at each link resource server receiving the data object from the handler and examining the data object for pre-determined information to perform a linking operation. The method may further include if the data object includes the pre-determined information, performing the linking operation by returning one or more links to the handler linking to related information provided by the link resource server. The method may further include if the data object does not include the pre-determined information, not performing the linking operation and instead returning one or more stop condition links indicating that the pre-determined information is not included.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for displaying menu options. A menu icon is displayed on a touch-sensitive screen. In some embodiments, the menu icon is displayed with a feed from a social networking system. In response to detecting a contact with the menu icon, an animation of a plurality of sub-menu icons emanating from the menu icon is displayed. The sub-menu icons move along different predefined paths to different predefined positions. Each sub-menu icon is associated with an interface to post content to a social networking system. In response to detecting a contact with a sub-menu icon, the interface associated with the sub-menu icon is displayed.

The method includes sending a request to the test server to be assigned a session identifier, the session identifier being associated with an assigned content version and receive the session identifier from the test server. The method further includes generating web page data to send to the client program, the web page data including (1) computer code which upon execution will cause the client program to retrieve the assigned content version of the static content from the test server using the session identifier, and (2) dynamic web page content based on one or more dynamic content factors and send the web page data to the client program.

Abstract: Disclosed is a drilling device and a method for the drilling of human or animal bone tissue. The method comprises the following steps; (a) providing a drill having an electrically conductive bone cutter and an electrically conducting nosepiece assembly spaced apart from the electrically conductive bone cutter and acting as a counter electrode; (b) placing the electrically conductive bone cutter and nosepiece assembly into contact with the bone tissue to be drilled; (c) measuring the electrical impedance between the bone cutter tip and the nosepiece or the current through the cutter motor; (d) commencing drilling and moving the bone cutter toward the bone surface; (e) starting a step counter when the impedance reduces or the cutter motor current increases; (f) incrementing the step counter with every step of the vertical drive motor until the step count reaches the prespecified value thereby controlling the depth of the hole drilled.

Abstract: While a newsfeed is scrolled, an icon is displayed that includes the post time of a news story. The icon moves in a vertical direction as the newsfeed is scrolled and displays a post time of a news story when at least a predefined amount of the icon is displayed over the news story. Depending on when a news story was posted, the time icon may include the date the news story was posted. The icon may show a time and/or may include a clock showing time in analog or digital format. The newsfeed may be scrolled in response to a gesture by a user with a touch-sensitive display and the time icon may cease to be displayed once the user breaks contact with the touch-sensitive display.
