  • Patent number: 11297078
Abstract: Computer system security is often implemented using rules-based systems (e.g., allow traffic to this network port, deny it for those network ports; user A is allowed access to these files, but not those files). In enterprises, multiple such systems may be deployed, but fail to be able to intelligently handle anomalies that may technically be permissible but in reality represents a high possibility that there is an underlying threat or problem. The present disclosure describes the ability to build adaptive models using machine learning techniques that integrate data from multiple different domains (e.g. user identity domain, system device domain) and allow for automated decision making and mitigation actions that can provide greater effectiveness than previous systems allowed.

  • Patent number: 11288672
Abstract: A machine learning engine for fraud detection following link selection may be trained using artificial intelligence techniques and used according to techniques discussed herein. A buyer account may be used to establish and generate a digital gift card having a particular value specified by the buyer. The digital gift card may then be conveyed to another account, such as an email address. The digital gift card may be provided with an online electronic process for redemption and use of the value, for example, by selecting a link and navigating to the process. When the claimer account attempts to utilize the value of the gift card by navigating to the process or otherwise engaging in the electronic process through a device, a risk and fraud analysis engine may execute to determine, based on real-time data of the claimer account, the buyer account, and/or device, whether the digital gift card was generated fraudulently or is being used fraudulently.

  • Patent number: 11288168
Abstract: A method for predicting software failure characteristics is discussed. The method includes accessing failure data and context data related to a failed software call into a software stack. The failure data indicates software call information. The context data indicates characteristics including functionality of the failed software call. The method includes accessing cluster data on previous software failures. The cluster data includes analyzed failure data and analyzed context data on software call traces. The analyzed failure data is provided by first and second failure tools. The cluster data for software calls is generated through respective instances of the software stack for each software call trace. The method also includes correlating the failed software call trace to a particular software call trace of the cluster data. The correlating is based at least on analysis of clusters indicated by the cluster data, the failure data, and the context data.

  • Patent number: 11288347
Abstract: Systems and techniques for providing login from an alternate electronic device are presented. A system can receive hash data associated with first fingerprint data and a timestamp from a first electronic device in response to a determination that the first electronic device satisfies a defined criterion associated with a terminal computing request. The system can also form a correlation between the first electronic device and a second electronic device within a geographic area associated with the first electronic device based on the timestamp, first location data associated with the first electronic device, and second location data associated with the second electronic device. Furthermore, the system can initiate display of a graphical user interface on the second electronic device in response to a determination that second fingerprint data provided to the second electronic device within a timeframe associated with the timestamp matches the first fingerprint data associated with the hash data.

  • Patent number: 11288732
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a website tracking system include a system provider device that detects a first interaction between a user and a web browser executing on the user device while the web browser displays a first merchant website, the first interaction determined by a first downloaded code provided by the system provider device. In some embodiments, a second interaction between the user and the web browser is detected while the web browser displays a second merchant website, the second interaction determined by a second downloaded code provided by the system provider. Based on the first interaction and the second interaction, one or more entries of a system provider database is updated. The system provider device thereafter causes to be displayed, on a graphical user interface (GUI) of the user device, the one or more entries.

  • Patent number: 11281998
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, devices, and the like for auto-labeling clusters generated by machine learning models. In one embodiment, a system is introduced that can perform a series of operations for determining comprehensive labels for clusters output from machine learning methods used to classify data sets. The auto-labeling system may include generating labels determined using a computation of a frequency count, ratio, and coverage. These computations may use feature-based dictionaries which aid in the determination, storage, and analysis of the relevant features useful in labeling the clusters.

  • Patent number: 11281776
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for detection of fraudulent displayable code data during device capture. A user may utilize a computing device to capture data at a certain location, such as imaging a QR code or reading an RFID reader. However, without knowing that those codes or devices are safe, the user make risk a computing attack on their device. Thus, processes herein provide a manner to detect when codes or devices are unsafe based on the additional data detected when encoded data is captured. In such instances, those codes and devices may be detected as fraudulent and the user may receive a warning of malicious computing attacks. Additionally, the user may be guided to valid codes and devices to utilize and may further receive information on removing such computing attacks.

  • Patent number: 11282072
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for automatic data pull requests using a secure communication link between online resources. An account may be used to electronically process transactions by a user, which may include use of a digital wallet that may store payment instruments used for transaction processing. The user may access an online platform for a service provider that provides a service to the user and bills the user for the service. The online platform may provide transaction processing services for the user's bills. The user may request a secure communication link be established between the service provider's billing platform and the user's digital wallet so that when billing data is available on the billing platform, the data may be pulled by the digital wallet from the platform and loaded to the user's digital wallet for processing.

  • Patent number: 11283698
Abstract: A unidirectional workflow execution engine is accessed. The unidirectional workflow includes at least a first node and a second node, where the first node is executed before the second node. A timeout setting of the first node is retrieved. An actual execution time of the first node is determined. A difference between the retrieved timeout setting and the actual execution time of the first node is calculated. A timeout setting of the second node is retrieved. The timeout setting of the second node is modified by adding, to the retrieved timeout setting of the second node, the calculated difference between the retrieved timeout setting and the execution time of the first node.

  • Patent number: 11283817
Abstract: A method includes determining, based on login information corresponding to a plurality of login attempts, that a set of password spray criteria have been satisfied. The method also includes generating respective scoring patterns corresponding to one or more password lengths and based on the respective scoring patterns, generating a common digital signature for a set of common passwords. The method further includes generating a spray digital signature for a set of potential spray passwords based on the respective scoring patterns. Additionally, the method includes comparing the spray digital signature with the common digital signatures to determine a number of matching components between the spray digital signatures and the common digital signature. Based on the number of matching components, the method includes determining whether a password spray has been attempted.

  • Patent number: 11277437
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for an automated device data retrieval and analysis platform. A service provider server invokes an instance of an application in a remote processing environment using device data associated with the application and sends a control message that prompts the instance to send a request to a web server for a process script that invokes a process executable in the remote processing environment. The service provider server obtains traffic data a behavior of application data based on an interaction between the instance and the web server, and determines features of the application in a native state from the behavior of the application data. The server generates a data profile of the application that indicates the features in the native state and provides the data profile to a remote engine to detect potential malicious activity associated with the application from the detection operation.
