Abstract: A nested gas charged cartridge for insertion in a cylinder to reduce pulsations in a fluid pumping system includes a first gas cartridge and a second gas cartridge, and optionally a third gas cartridge. Each of the first, second, and third gas cartridges independently and cumulatively reduce pulsations entering the cylinder. A diameter of the third gas cartridge is less than a diameter of the second gas cartridge, which both are less than a diameter of a first gas cartridge.

The polyamide may have a ratio of carboxylic acid to amine end groups of greater than 1.8. Products formed from the composition are also disclosed. The polyamide may comprise nylon 6,6.
Abstract: A radome structure may include a structural component, an inner tuning layer component underlying the structural component and an outer tuning layer component overlaying the structural component. The structural component may include a first fiber-reinforced dielectric layer that may include a first fiber-reinforced polymer. The inner tuning layer component may include a first inner tuning layer that may include a second fiber-reinforced polymer. The outer tuning layer component may include a first outer tuning layer that may include a third fiber-reinforced polymer.
Abstract: A clip for providing a sliding force towards a movable substrate, the clip including at least one strip, where the at least one strip comprises a first axial end and a second axial end and an arcuate shape between the first axial end and the second axial end; where the at least one strip is a metal strip including a sliding layer at an outbound side.
Abstract: A filter comprising a nanofiber nonwoven product is disclosed which comprises a polyamide with a relative viscosity from 2 to 330, spun into nanofibers with an average diameter of less than 1000 nanometers (1 micron). In general, the inventive products are prepared by: (a) providing a polyamide composition, wherein the polyamide has a relative viscosity from 2 to 330; (b) melt spinning the polyamide composition into a plurality of nanofibers having an average fiber diameter of less than 1 micron, followed by (c) forming the nanofibers into the product.
Abstract: A data management system includes a data storage device, a buffer memory, and a controller. The buffer memory is configured to temporally store data read during a reading operation of the data storage device. The controller is configured to, after transmitting a data input/output (I/O) instruction to the data storage device upon an indication of a data reading request, allocate the buffer memory, register a buffer cache of the buffer memory, allocate a direct memory access (DMA) address for the buffer memory, and release the DMA address.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for vehicle suspension ball joints that are firmly affixed for operation, are easily adjustable in a generally vertical direction for precise tuning of suspension geometry for dynamic performance in multiple axes using an array of cylindrical shims tuned to match fastener distance and height with a socket that has mounting bolts that engage a scalloped cap.
Abstract: A method and assembly for monitoring physiological parameters of a subject is provided. The method includes measuring, with a physiological sensor, data that indicates a change in a value of a physiological parameter of a subject over a time period. The method further includes measuring, with a motion sensor, data that indicates a value of a motion of the subject over the time period. The method further includes determining, with a processor, whether the value of the motion of the subject over the time period is less than a motion threshold. The method includes determining, with the processor, whether the change in the value of the physiological parameter over the time period exceeds a change threshold. The method also includes performing an action based on the determination that the change in the value of the physiological parameter exceeds the change threshold.
Abstract: The present invention relate to a caterpillar track, in particular a rubber caterpillar track, with a track body ad with at least one outer profiling element, preferable with a plurality of outer profiling elements, which are directed outwardly away from the track body. The caterpillar track is characterized in that the outer profiling element has an outwardly directed grouser body and a grouser root, which connects the grouser body to the track body, wherein the outer profiling element has, at least in some sections, a marking which can make the boundary between the grouser body and the grouser root visually and haptically identifiable.
Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to an air pump for balls, tires, toys, and/or the like and include a retractable base, which facilitates the storage of the needle(s) and/or other adapter(s) inside of the pump itself. This arrangement reduces the chances that it/they will break because it/they is/are protected inside of the pump and need not be repeatedly attached/detached. The pump in certain example embodiments includes a tube body into which the retractable base retracts, a plunger disk, a guide system including one or more guides for guiding the plunger disk and/or base within the tube body, a locking mechanism to help lock the base in extended and/or retracted positions, and a handle. The pump safely stores at least one needle/adapter in the tube body. In the event that a needle breaks, it may be replaced as if it were a conventional pump.
Abstract: The present invention relates to curable compositions comprising at least one compound of the formula (1): wherein R is C1-C10 alkyl, and R1-R10 each are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and C1-C10 alkyl, with the proviso that at least one of R1-R10 is alkyl, and wherein the substitution patterns formed by the residues R1-R5 and R6-R10 on each of the aromatic rings are different from each other, cured compositions obtained from such curable compositions, mixtures of compounds of the formula (I), the use of such compounds and mixtures of such compounds as a UV stabilizer in curable compositions, and a process for the manufacture of curable compositions comprising a UV stabilizer of the formula (1).

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method for analysing an activity session. Data from a monitoring device worn by a user of the system for example is received over a period of time or distance and a classification system of the invention is utilised in real time or post session to determine the activities performed by the user during the session. The data collected relates to multiple parameters monitored during the activity session. The classification system defines an activity using a set of threshold criteria for a combination of parameters and therefore identifies a particular activity performed during the activity session when a combination of monitored parameters satisfies the threshold criteria for a particular activity. Determining the activities performed in this way allows for more useful interpretation of the data which in turn leads to more effective coaching advice and feedback for the user.
