Abstract: Videogame controllers with smart trigger stops may include: a housing including a trigger, the trigger movable along a path of travel; a sensor configured to detect the position of the trigger and to generate a signal representing trigger position; a processor configured to interpret signals generated by the sensor and cause an output signal to be transmitted to a gaming console; a trigger-stop that is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position, the trigger-stop in the disengaged position allowing the trigger to move along the entire path of travel, the trigger-stop in the engaged position blocking the trigger from moving along the entire path of travel; and a switch coupled with the housing and the trigger-stop, wherein movement of the trigger-stop from the disengaged position to the engaged position flips the switch and causes the processor to map received signals to generated signals in a different manner.
Abstract: A base fluid for formulating wellbore fluids. The base fluid comprises a mixture of synthetic aliphatic hydrocarbons derived from a Fischer-Tropsch product stream and contains greater than 96% aliphatic hydrocarbons having a carbon number range of from C6 to C30. The percentage of homologues having a carbon number of C10 or less is less than about 3 wt %.

Abstract: A feeder is disclosed for dissolving a chemical and mixing it with a liquid. The feeder includes a hopper adapted to hold the chemical, a nozzle located in the hopper, and a supply of the liquid to the nozzle to dissolve the chemical on contact with the liquid from the nozzle to form a solution. A solution basin is disposed under the hopper and a drain is provided from the hopper into the solution basin. An outlet from the solution basin has an outlet valve which opens when a solution level in the solution basin rises.

Abstract: A mobile exercise device having a front wheel connected via a front wheel mount to a weight carriage that extends rearwardly from the front wheel mount. A weight loading member is mounted to the weight carriage and is operable to receive exercise weights and to support the exercise weights so that the exercise weights move as the weight carriage moves. A user engagement member includes a first end for engaging hips of a user and a second end for connecting to the weight carriage. Lifting the weight carriage via the user engagement member causes the weight loading member to be lifted and to rotate with respect to the front wheel.

Abstract: The present invention relates to specialty pulp products produced using bifunctional reagents composed of polymeric chain and end caps. The polymeric chain is preferably a polyalkylene glycol based polymer and the end caps are preferably a cationic quaternary ammonium. The bifunctional reagents are especially useful in making specialty fluff with dual functional properties—easy defiberization and antimicrobial properties. The specialty fluff of the present invention prevents odor by inhibiting bacteria growth and production of organic matters, especially when used in an absorbent article intended for body waste management such as baby diapers and adult incontinence device.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and/or computer program products for publishing a spot for display on digital signage at a target location and a target time according to a rule set are disclosed. Certain implementations relate to updating the spot, target digital signage location, and target playback time based on input received from a user. The updates to the spot may be verified by comparing a permissions level of the user to rules regarding the modification of the spot.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a device for protecting a climbing rope comprising a flexible sheath comprising a first edge, a second edge generally opposing the first edge, a first end, and a second end generally opposing the first end, a sheath connector assembly attached at the second end of the flexible sheath, and a primary rope connector assembly attached to the sheath connector assembly. Methods of making and using the device also are described.
Abstract: A system and method for accurately and efficiently testing a HEPA filter in a sterile environment, such as a clean room, by creating a closed-loop system. The system includes a multi-port interface including at least a challenge port and a verification port, each port being in communication with an area upstream from the HEPA filter. Through the challenge port, test substances are introduced to a supply air duct that is in communication with a HEPA filter. Through the verification port, a concentration of the test substances can be measured for comparison with a concentration that passed through the HEPA filter, i.e. downstream from the HEPA filter. As such, test substances can be dispersed throughout the air conditioning system before interacting with the HEPA filter, and accurately measured. The closed loop between the ports provides an accurate measurement of the concentration of test substances to test the HEPA filter.

Abstract: A method of calibration a video game system can include removing an optical filter that filters out visible light from a field of view of a camera to allow the camera to view visible light. The method can also include displaying a calibration image on a display screen located within the field of view of the camera, processing the video output feed from the camera with a computer processor to identify the calibration image, and calculating with the processor coordinates that represent corners of the display screen in the field of view of the camera once the calibration image is identified.

Abstract: A retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system for that is extended outwardly from the wall when in use and retracted towards the wall when not in use. The retractable wall mounted weightlifting bench system generally includes a mounting bracket adapted to be attached to a wall, a bench pivotally connected to the mounting bracket that has an extended position and a retracted position, a first support member pivotally attached to the bench and a second support member pivotally attached to the bench. The first surface of the bench is horizontal or inclined when in the extended position to be used as a weightlifting bench. The first surface of the bench is in a substantially vertical position when in the retracted position for compact storage of the bench near the wall.
