    Abstract: Optimizations are provided for segmenting tissue objects included in an ultrasound image. Initially, raw pixel data is received. Here, each pixel corresponds to ultrasound information. This raw pixel data is processed through a first fully convolutional network to generate a first segmentation label map. This first map includes a first set of objects that have been segmented into a coarse segmentation class. Then, this first map is processed through a second fully convolutional network to generate a second segmentation label map. This second map is processed using the raw pixel data as a base reference. Further, this second map includes a second set of objects that have been segmented into a fine segmentation class. Then, a contour optimization algorithm is applied to at least one of the second set of objects in order to refine that object's contour boundary. Subsequently, that object is identified as corresponding to a lymph node.

    Abstract: A thin-film composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane with anti-bacterial and anti-biofouling effects and a preparation method thereof are disclosed. The preparation method includes: dissolving a highly water-stable metal organic framework CuBTTri in an n-hexane solution containing trimesoyl chloride by ultrasonic wave, immersing a polyethersulfone ultrafiltration membrane in an aqueous solution of m-phenylene diamine and taking out, and then immersing the ultrafiltration membrane in the trimesoyl chloride-n-hexane solution containing the aforementioned metal organic framework for reaction and modification, so as to obtain the thin-film composite polyamide reverse osmosis membrane. The resulting composite reverse osmosis membrane integrated with the anti-bacterial metal organic framework CuBTTri has a high reverse osmosis membrane permeability and possesses greatly improved and persistent anti-bacterial and anti-biofouling properties.

    Abstract: Disclosed is polymer-ceramic composite material with colossal permittivity, comprising polymer matrix and ceramic powders embedded in the polymer matrix, wherein a part of the polymer matrix is exposed and adsorbed to the surface of the ceramic powders, and the polymer is electrically insulating. This invention simultaneously achieves large dielectric constant, negligible dielectric loss and high energy density in flexible composite capacitors based on metal-ion co-doped colossal permittivity materials. The host oxides used in this CP system is friendly to the environment, non-toxic and abundant. Additionally, the process developed is relatively simple, low cost and suitable for mass production-scale. Therefore, these composite capacitors have great technological potential for many applications. Compared to the conventional ceramic materials, composites of this invention are lightweight, scalable and easily fabricated into complex shapes towards miniaturization of the compact systems.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a cesium tungsten bronze-based self-cleaning nano heat-insulation coating material, and method of preparing the same. Cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles are prepared by hydrothermal method using WCl6 and CsOH.5H2O as raw materials, PVP as a surfactant and acetic acid as an acid catalyst. TiO2 nanoparticles are prepared from TiCl4. Subsequently ball milling and dispersing of the cesium tungsten bronze nanoparticles, the TiO2 nanoparticles, and a silane coupling agent with water to obtain an aqueous slurry containing cesium tungsten bronze/TiO2 composite particles is performed. The concentration of the aqueous slurry containing cesium tungsten bronze/TiO2 composite particles is adjusted to obtain a self-cleaning nano heat-insulation coating material.

    Abstract: A power-assist lower limb exoskeleton robot with adjustable stiffness joints includes a human-robot information interaction unit, an electronic control unit, an electro-hydraulic servo driving unit and a mechanical structure unit of a lower limb exoskeleton. In the mechanical structure unit of the lower limb exoskeleton, a hip joint and a hip joint connector are connected by a cross hinge mechanism. In combination with a bidirectional hydraulic cylinder, the hip joint of the lower limb exoskeleton fits well with the space structure characteristics of a human hip joint. The unidirectional hydraulic cylinders with spring reduction meets the needs of fast response and large torque during walking and increases walking endurance time. The present invention uses a plantar pressure information collection unit and a waist gyroscope to collect the human gait and gesture information. Besides, it uses a crutch unit to introduce wearer's movement intention into the exoskeleton robot's cooperative control.
