Abstract: A high-manganese wear-resistant steel having excellent weldability comprises 5 to 15 wt % of Mn, 16?33.5C+Mn?30 of C, 0.05 to 1.0 wt % of Si, and a balance of Fe and other inevitable impurities. The microstructure thereof includes martensite as a major component, and 5% to 40% of residual austenite by area fraction.

Abstract: Provided is a zinc-plated steel sheet for hot pressing having outstanding surface characteristics, comprising: a steel foundation plate comprising a metal surface diffusion layer of which the Gibbs free energy reduction per mole of oxygen during oxidation is less than that of Cr, an aluminum-rich layer containing at least 30 wt. % of aluminum formed on the surface diffusion layer, and a zinc plating layer formed on the aluminum-rich layer. In this way, a metal having a low affinity for oxygen is coated to an effective thickness prior to annealing and thus the creation of annealing oxides at the surface of the steel sheet is suppressed and a uniform zinc plating layer is formed, and alloying of the zinc plating layer is promoted during press-processing heat treatment. Cracking in the steel foundation plate during hot press molding is prevented.

Abstract: Provided are a fixed-type electric furnace enabling continuous operation which allows melting without the interruption of power supply and tapping in a fixed state, and a fixed-type electric furnace and a molten steel production method using same. The fixed-type electric furnace comprises: a preheating furnace which is disposed on the side of a melting furnace and preheats an iron source (scrap) using exhaust gas from the melting furnace; a supply means for supplying the iron source, which has been preheated in the preheating furnace, to the melting furnace; the melting furnace comprising electrodes for melting the preheated iron source; and a fixed-type discharge means for discharging molten steel which has been melted in the melting furnace, wherein the preheating furnace is integrally connected to the melting furnace.
Abstract: Provided are a molten steel treatment apparatus and a molten steel treatment method capable of quickly measuring an inclusion adhesion state inside a nozzle during an operation. The molten steel treatment apparatus includes a container, a nozzle equipped in a molten steel tap hole of the container, a liner disposed on a portion of an inner circumferential surface of the nozzle and formed of an ion-conductive material, a power supply for applying electric power to the molten steel and the liner, and a measuring unit for measuring a voltage value or a current value between the molten steel and the liner. The molten steel treatment method includes measuring a voltage value or current value between the molten steel and the liner; and determining a thickness of an inclusion adhering to an interface between the molten steel and the liner by using the voltage value or the current value.
Abstract: Disclosed is a smart factory platform for processing data obtained in a continuous process including a first process and a second process following the first process. The smart factory platform includes a distributed parallel processing system including at least one processing unit that generates mapping data by mapping a process identification (ID) to collection data collected from the continuous process and sorts the mapping data to generate sorting data, the process ID defining a process where the collection data occurs and the sorting data being generated for association processing between pieces of collection data collected from different processes; and a big data analysis system storing the sorting data with respect to the process ID.

Abstract: A nickel-M-alumina hybrid xerogel catalyst for preparing methane, wherein the metal M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Fe, Co, Ni, Ce, La, Mo, Cs, Y, and Mg, a method for preparing the catalyst and a method for preparing methane using the catalyst are provided. The catalyst has strong resistance against a high-temperature sintering reaction and deposition of carbon species, and can effectively improve a conversion ratio of carbon monoxide and selectivity to methane.

Abstract: Provided is a method of making a composite ceramic material for a fuel cell. The composite ceramic material for the fuel cell forms a cored structure where perovskite ceramic particles having a small particle diameter surround lanthanum cobaltite particles having a large particle diameter. Lanthanum cobaltite is added as a starting material in a process of synthesizing the perovskite ceramic particles. The composite ceramic material for the fuel cell made according to this method improves an electric connection characteristic between a separation plate and a polar plate of the fuel cell, and is chemically and mechanically stable.

Abstract: A steel pipe pile and a steel pipe column is connected using a steel pipe socket. Abstract: Provided is a lance and an operation method using the same, in which a suction hole allowing source gas to be injected into a container, in which a reaction gas is generated, is included. The suction hole is formed in a source gas passage where the reaction gas is introduced into the passage. Thus the temperature of the gas injected into the container may be easily increased without using any separate heating device, and secondary combustion efficiency may be increased. In addition, the gas sprayed at a high temperature is provided, and thus additional heat may be supplied into the container. Thus, excessive use of fuel used to increase the temperature of the container may be avoided, and thus operation costs may be reduced and operation efficiency and productivity may be increased.
Abstract: Zn alloy plated steel material having excellent weldability and processed-part corrosion resistance and a method for production of Zn alloy plated steel material are provided. In the Zn alloy plated steel material comprising base steel material and a Zn alloy plating layer, the Zn alloy plating layer includes, by wt %, Al: 0.1-5.0%, Mg: 0.1-5.0%, as well as a remainder of Zn and inevitable impurities. The Zn alloy plated steel material includes a lower interface layer and an upper interface layer between the base steel material and the Zn alloy plating layer, wherein the lower interface layer is formed on the base steel material and has a dense structure, and the upper interface layer is formed on the lower interface layer and has a network-type or island-type structure.

Abstract: Provided is a ferritic lightweight high-strength steel sheet having excellent stiffness and ductility and a method of manufacturing the same. Abstract: Provided are a transportation device for transporting heavy plate-shaped cargoes such as thick plate products, and a transportation system using the transportation device. The transportation device may include: a device body unit; a device moving unit provided on the device body unit to move the transportation device; and a cargo loading unit provided on the device body unit for self-loading cargo. The transportation device is capable of rapidly loading and transporting plate-shaped heavy objects such as thick plate products of an iron mill without using additional lifting/unloading apparatuses and heavy pallets (cassettes) for markedly decreasing the total transportation (distribution) time necessary for lifting, transportation, and unloading of cargo, providing efficient transportation environments, improving productivity, and decreasing costs.
