  • Patent number: 12363646
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a message scheduling transmission, by the UE, of uplink control information (UCI) in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource. The UE may receive an indication that the UE is scheduled to transmit the UCI in the PUCCH resource to both a first transmission-reception point (TRP) and a second TRP. The UE may also receive a first set of uplink power control parameters for transmitting the UCI to the first TRP and a second set of uplink power control parameters for transmitting the UCI to the second TRP. The UE may transmit the UCI to the first TRP and to the second TRP in the PUCCH resource, based on the first set and the second set of uplink power control parameters, and without an uplink control channel beam indication.

  • Patent number: 12362885
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for using acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK-NACK) bundling when reporting from a user equipment (UE) a bundled ACK-NACK for a plurality of physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs) associated with a PDSCH grant. A counter downlink assignment indicator (DAI) and a total DAI may be used to track PDSCH grants that are received at the UE. The UE may detect missing PDSCHs and report ACK-NACKs for the missing PDSCHs based on the counter DAI and the total DAI. A base station (BS) may transmit the PDSCH grant associated with the plurality of PDSCHs to the UE. The BS may receive, from the UE, the bundled ACK-NACK for the plurality of PDSCHs associated with the PDSCH grant.

  • Patent number: 12363759
Abstract: An apparatus receives a small data transmission during an RRC inactive mode, without transitioning the UE to an RRC connected mode. The UE receives a page from a base station for a downlink data transmission while in the RRC inactive mode. The page may indicate a downlink data transmission to occur without transitioning the UE to an RRC connected mode and may indicate a RACH preamble to the UE. The UE transmits a random access preamble to the base station in response to the page and receives a downlink data packet from the base station while remaining in the RRC inactive mode.

  • Patent number: 12363708
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to adaptively transition between modes of an adaptive receive diversity (ARD) antenna management configuration. In some cases, the UE may determine to transition from an ARD disallowed mode to an ARD standby mode in response to receiving a burst of downlink grants. The UE may dynamically update one or more criterion for transitioning between the ARD disallowed mode and the ARD standby mode according to a pattern of received downlink grants. For example, the UE may adjust a threshold quantity of downlink grants which constitutes a burst based on a downlink scheduling rate (DSR) of one or more prior ARD standby durations. In some cases, the UE may identify a fallback condition to transition from the ARD standby mode to the ARD disallowed mode.
