Abstract: A method of providing identity information may include: receiving, from a transaction system, a request regarding a transaction; retrieving at least one rule defining a compliant identity based on a type of the transaction, the at least one rule identifying a plurality of identity attributes; retrieving an identity index map including a list of pointers to available identity components; selecting pointers from the identity index map pointing to identity components corresponding to the plurality of identity attributes; outputting, to the transaction system, the compliant identity including information corresponding to each of the identity components, the information including for each identity component at least one of: the selected pointers to the identity component, or the identity component.

Abstract: A system, method and non-transitory computer readable medium for detecting unsecured sensors in a network. A computing system can find an IP address associated with an unsecured sensor based on a port through which the unsecured sensor communicates with the network. The computing system can ascertain a prefix route associated with the IP address for the unsecured sensor based on a portion of the IP address. The computing system can determine geographic coordinate data associated with the prefix route. The computing system can identify location data of a set of facilities within a specified geographic radius of the geographic coordinate data. The computing system can associate the unsecured sensor with a first one of the facilities in the set of facilities based on a distance between geographic coordinate data and the location data associated with the first one of the facilities being less than a specified distance threshold.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for realistic performance testing of a computer network (e.g., a computer network of an electronic trading venue) based on a customizable test scenario, designed by users, executed using a plurality of independent computer nodes each connected to the computer network via its own physical connection to a network device (e.g., network switch) of the computer network. Using the system, developers may design a test scenario that includes testing parameters, which include computer executable code for transmission to and execution at the plurality of computer nodes. The computer executable code may simulate network traffic between devices of market participants and the electronic trading venue.

Abstract: Within the financial-services industry, there are online centers that allow brokers to match sellers with buyers of financial instruments based on indications of interest. To follow up on these indications of interest, users of such centers are now using proprietary instant-messaging (IM) systems, which allow them to instantaneously exchange text messages over the Internet with other users. The present inventor recognized that these communications are often inconvenient because the IM programs are isolated from the financial information. Accordingly, he devised systems, methods, and software that integrate IM and other communications-related functions into financial-data displays. Ultimately, one of more of these or other embodiments promise improved efficiency and convenience of online interactions not only for financial trading partners and others in the financial-services industry, but also for those in any private, public, and commercial domain where rapid or convenient online communication is desirable.

Abstract: Computer-readable media, systems and methods may improve automatic summarization of transcripts of financial earnings calls. For example, a system may generate segments, such as by disambiguating sentences, from a transcript to be summarized. The system may use an estimator that assesses whether or not the segment should be included in the summary. Different types of estimators may be used. For example, the estimator may be rule-based, trained based on machine-learning techniques, or trained on based on machine-learning with language modeling using natural language processing to fine-tune language models specific to financial earnings calls.

Abstract: A method for conducting a transaction may include: receiving, at a user device from a transaction system, a request for a data element for conducting the transaction; in response to receiving the request, determining a data map corresponding to the requested data element, the data map including containing a plurality of pointers, each pointing to a respective one of a plurality of data fragments located on a respective one of a plurality of different data storage locations, such as a plurality of different data storage systems; retrieving, using the data map, the plurality of data fragments from the plurality of data storage locations; assembling the data element using the retrieved data fragments; and providing, by the user device to the transaction system, the data element to conduct the transaction.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for generating a financial summary, which comprises identifying a first set of data items derived from one or more financial documents associated with an entity and a second set of data items derived from historical data associated with the entity. The systems and methods of the present disclosure then compare one or more data items of each set of data and select selecting a pre-defined reporting pattern based on the comparison, the selected pre-defined reporting pattern indicative of a possible financial result of the entity. A third set of data items supporting the selected pre-defined reporting pattern is then generated from the first and second sets of data items and a financial summary of the one or more financial documents is computed using the selected pre-defined reporting pattern and the third set of data items.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for quantifying temporal fairness on an electronic trading venue as a scalar value with unit time. The system may, for an instrument traded on the venue, construct some pluralities of time deltas associated with each pair of market participants in a plurality of such that are active on the instrument. The system may populate these pluralities of time deltas by determining the amount of time that elapses between when the first and second participant in a pair each send (or are sent) a similar message to (or from) the venue. Through analysis of these pluralities of time deltas the system may find two minimum values, fords and fmktdata, the sum of which may quantify temporal fairness for the instrument on the venue. The resultant sum may inform the value of a latency floor deployed for the instrument on the venue.

Abstract: Computer-readable media, systems and methods may improve performance efficiency of generating custom position data of multi-leg transactions. For example, a system may receive a request to generate a custom multi-leg transaction involving variable ratios that may be evaluated against historical data derived from electronically traded commodities. Responsive to the request, the system may execute a computational workflow that applies rules to parse encoded futures symbols of the multi-leg transaction, build timeseries for historical years based on the input and the historical data and generate a GUI portion that may be transmitted to the user device via the interface. In some examples, the system may use a classifier to identify time intervals that are similar to one another for purposes of a given multi-leg transaction. The classifier may include a rule-based classifier that applies decisioning rules or a machine-learning (ML) classifier that is trained using training datasets.

Abstract: A method and system that automatically or semi-automatically analyze documents and redact key elements of importance to potential purchasers of the documents. Potential purchasers, or others, are presented with versions of the document that more fully reflect the particular information contained in the document but which do not disclose critical key data points that are of most importance to the purchaser. Upon reviewing a redacted version of the subject document, the viewer may elect to purchase or otherwise obtain the original document or report with information un-redacted. Alternatively, viewers are able to selectively purchase, or otherwise obtain, portions of the document in an a la carte fashion. The invention provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to effect the selective election of information, such as recommendations, ratings, market share, graphical representations, tables, etc.

Abstract: Computer-readable media, systems and methods may improve classification of content based on a machine-learning natural language processing (ML-NLP) classifier. The system may train a general language model based on a general corpus, further train the general language model based on a domain-specific corpus to generate a domain-specific language model, and conduct supervised machine-learning based on the domain-specific language using topic-specific corpus labeled as relating to topics of interest to generate the ML-NLP classifier. Accordingly, the ML-NLP classifier may be trained on a general corpus, further trained on a domain-specific corpus, and fine-tuned on a topic-specific corpus. In this manner, domain-specific content may be classified into topics of interest. The ML-NLP classifier may classify content into the topics of interest.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a web-based software application, in which a server at a publisher compiles a predetermined list of items, such as regulatory, contract, budgeting, and legal issues, and stores them for periodic download to a client. The client would subscribe to the publisher, to receive information on a predetermined set of items. Periodically the server will scan its database and according to the client subscription, will retrieve and forward the predetermined items desired, to the client. The forwarded items will be compiled by the client and presented to the user in an easily viewable and searchable format. The user may choose a particular item to review, and then, if the user determines the item to be a relevant one, the user may transfer the item information to a monitoring software application for future monitoring and/or internal implementation as an issue.

The database access module determines relevant questions for the user after accessing the database. The question module provides questions to the user, accepts answers to the questions and stores the answers in the database. The evaluation module evaluates compliance by the company to the requirement after it evaluates records in the database. The report module generates a report of regulatory compliance of the company.

Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a system for database querying using natural language generation, which comprises identifying a first set of entities corresponding to an indexed data set in response to a user query, generating a ranked list of query intents using the first set of entities, wherein each item of the list of query intents represents a second set of entities associated with the user query and iterating over the ranked list of query intents to identify a top ranked intent associated to one of a set of predefined query plans. The predefined query plan associated with the top rank intent is executed using the set of entities corresponding to the top ranked intent, the predefined query plan comprising one or more search actions against the indexed data set. Abstract: The present invention is a web-based software application designed to monitor implementation of an issue. The invention includes receiving information from a user on the issue to be monitored; receiving information from a user on an assignment on the issue; and sending the assignment to a recipient. An acknowledgement is received from the recipient on the assignment. Reminders are forwarded to the recipient when the acknowledgement is not received within a predetermined time period, and the reminders can be automatically forwarded at predetermined time periods. Information is received on the issues from a user or an external source, and listed in a form which can be filtered and sorted according to predetermined criteria. A completion status of the regulatory issue can be displayed.

Abstract: Computer-readable media, systems and methods may improve security, authorization, and auditability of documents. For example, computer systems for serving documents may be improved to provide secure access and control through challenges that are validated with self-executing on-chain document license contracts that enforce entitlements that specify users and their authorized document actions. Such entitlements may be generated by the user who created the document. As such, a user may retain over authorizations and document actions that are permissible with respect to the document even after the user has transferred a copy of the document. Furthermore, the computer systems may be improved to write an on-chain audit log of document actions, providing an immutable record of the document actions.

The system is configured to provide at least one objective analytic that indicates the level of risk associated with a fund of funds investment strategy. The system provides both a quantitative and qualitative risk measurement value using actual portfolio holdings data of underlying funds that can be used to compare multi-faceted investment portfolios.
