Publication number: 20250094876Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for training and deploying a predictive model for generating a prediction, e.g., patient eligibility for a CAR-T therapy. Datasets, such as open healthcare claims datasets, may be missing data. Missing data may hamper the ability to generate sufficient information needed for training a predictive model. Methods include leveraging comprehensive datasets, such as closed claims datasets, to create training examples for input into a machine learning algorithm. In various embodiments, the comprehensive dataset is modified to simulate the data missingness in the target dataset; then, the modified dataset is paired with the ground truth label derived from the comprehensive dataset to create training examples. In various embodiments, a comprehensive dataset is paired with a target dataset to create training examples. After training a predictive model on such examples, the model can be deployed to make predictions in the target dataset even in light of missing data.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 4, 2024Publication date: March 20, 2025Applicant: Janssen Research & Development, LLCInventors: Jennifer Seto Harper, Rajarshi Roychowdhury, Smita Mitra, Jeffrey John Headd

Patent number: 12253149Abstract: A differential gear unit includes an annular ring gear having a rotational axis in an axial direction; side gears respectively distribute torque to drive shafts; differential pinion gears are rotatably arranged on a pinion pin, where the pinion gears respectively engage the side gears. A decoupling element inside the ring gear is rotatably arranged in relation to the ring gear. The pinion pin is connected to and extends diametrically across the decoupling element. A clutch sleeve slides relative to the ring gear and the decoupling element. The clutch sleeve, upon axial displacement, disconnects the ring gear from the decoupling element in a first position, allowing rotational movement of the decoupling element relative to the ring gear; connects the ring gear to the decoupling element in a second position, preventing the rotational movement of the decoupling element; and connects the ring gear to a park-lock structure in a third position.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2023Date of Patent: March 18, 2025Assignees: Ningbo Geely Automobile Research & Development Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd.Inventors: Fredrik Englund, Mikael Mohlin

Patent number: 12247830Abstract: A method and system for measuring signal loss in a fiber optic cable. The tail ends of reference and test fiber optic cables are illuminated with a diffuse light. The head end of each of the reference and test fiber optic cables are positioned in a measurement area. A core imager captures an image of the core of each head-end while it is in the measurement area. Reference and test radiant fluxes emitted from the reference and test head-ends are determined from the respective core images. The relative signal loss of the test fiber optic cable is then determined by comparing the test radiant flux to the reference radiant flux.Type: GrantFiled: September 26, 2022Date of Patent: March 11, 2025Assignee: Corning Research & Development CorporationInventors: David Matthew Berg, Stefan Wolfgang Kramel, David Andrew Pastel, Michael Brian Webb
