  • Patent number: 10826328
Abstract: A receiver of a wireless power transmission system may include a capacitor-and-inductor configured to receive power from a transmitter using a resonance, at least one capacitor configured to connect to an output node of the receiver, and a plurality of switches configured to control current flow within the receiver. The plurality of switches may be controlled so that the capacitor-and-inductor may be disconnected from the at least one capacitor and the output node at preset periods. Current resonating in the capacitor-and-inductor may increase during disconnection between the at least one capacitor and the output node. The plurality of switches may output the increased current to the battery by connecting the capacitor-and-inductor to the capacitor and the output node after the period, connect at least one capacitor and the output node in series after the period, and operate to reduce root mean square (RMS) current within the receiver.

  • Patent number: 10823845
Abstract: Systems and methods for radar systems to produce a radar image of a region of interest (ROI with targets. Sensors to transmit source signals to the ROI and to measure echoes reflected back from the targets corresponding to the transmitted source signals. A processor to calculate an estimate of a noisy and a partial Euclidean Distance Matrix (EDM) of the sensors and the targets. Decompose the noisy and the partial EDM into a low rank EDM that corresponds to locations to actual sensors and target locations, and a sparse matrix of distance errors, using a constrained optimization process. The low rank EDM is mapped into the sensors and the targets locations, to obtain estimated actual sensor locations. Implement an inverse imaging process using the estimated actual sensor locations and the received data, to produce the radar image to output to a communication channel.

  • Patent number: 10825855
Abstract: Bending a flexible x-ray detector to image a curved structure or object will distort the object appearance when compared to an image captured by a flat/rigid detector. An image distortion of this type can be corrected when the shape (relative bend position) of the x-ray detector is known. Incorporating strain sensors on the flexible x-ray detector makes it possible to record the local bend of the flexible x-ray detector when an image is taken. This shape information can be used to either label or correct for the image distortions created by bending the x-ray detector to assist users more accustomed to viewing images produced by flat/rigid x-ray detectors.

  • Patent number: 10824800
Abstract: A method of updating a declarative description of a form in which the declarative description includes a hierarchy of declarations of form elements. The form is displayed by rendering each of the form elements based on the declarative description. The position of each rendered form element relative to the other rendered form elements is based on the position of the declaration of that form element in the hierarchy. An indication of a further element to add to the form and a location where that element is to be inserted into the form are received. The form is updated by inserting a declaration of the further element into the description at a position in the hierarchy determined based on the position, and the updated form displayed.

  • Patent number: 10826101
Abstract: A flow battery apparatus is provided with shunted currents repressed. The apparatus has a positive electrode device, a negative electrode device and a plurality of gas-gap devices. Gas-gap devices are separately set between branching channels and inlet and outlet manifolds of positive and negative electrodes. Each of the branching channels separately has an inserting tube to be inserted into one of the gas-gap devices. The diameter of the inserted vessel of gas-gap devices is bigger than the diameter of the inserting tube connected to a corresponding one of the branching channels. Thus, working liquids transferred to the positive and negative electrodes are segregated with coordination of the gas-gap devices. Only air spaces and discrete liquid drops are left between separated parts of the working liquids. Thus, shunted currents are repressed by preventing conductive paths from being formed between the positive and negative electrodes.
