  • Patent number: 10476674
Abstract: A method implemented in a computing system hosting a three-dimensional virtual reality world. The computer system stores a set of searchable records, each having: a searchable hash of at least a portion of personally identifiable information; and an encrypted identity, decryptable using an encryption key generated based at least in part on the searchable hash and a global key. In response to a search request identifying at least a portion of personally identifiable information as a search criterion, the computer system generates a hash of the search criterion, and finds a matching searchable record that has a searchable hash equal to the hash computed from the search criterion. An encryption key is computed based on the global key and the matched searchable record to decrypt an encrypted identity of a user having at least the portion of personally identifiable information that is the search criterion in the search request.

  • Patent number: 10476625
Abstract: Wavelength channels used in the optical network system are classified into downstream channels used to transmit optical signals from an optical line terminal (OLT) to an optical network unit (ONU) and upstream channels that are used to transmit optical signals from the ONU to the OLT. The wavelength channels are included in an O-band and may not overlap each other. One of the upstream channels are allocated to a wavelength band (for example, a zero-dispersion window) in which a four-wave mixing occurs. A wavelength spacing between the upstream channels and the downstream channels is determined based on a performance of separating the upstream channels and the downstream channels in a bidirectional optical sub assembly (BOSA) of the ONU. Also, a wavelength spacing between the downstream channels is determined based on a performance of separating the downstream channels in the BOSA.

  • Patent number: 10470720
Abstract: Provided is a heart rate activity detecting method based on dynamic images. The method includes tracking a moving object. Preset brightness is determined based on an ambient condition. An image of the moving object is captured to generate a corresponding RGB color space, which is then converted to an image color space with adjustable brightness. The brightness of the image color space is adjusted according to the preset brightness to generate an image with corrected brightness, which is then converted to a RGB color space with the corrected brightness for calculating a heart rate activity of the moving object. The disclosure is capable of addressing the issue of an unstable light source by adjusting the brightness of the dynamic images, and then calculating the heart rate activity of the moving object according to the dynamic images. A heart rate activity detecting system based on dynamic images is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10472716
Abstract: Showerheads for independently delivering different, mutually-reactive process gases to a wafer processing space are provided. The showerheads include a first gas distributor that has multiple plenum structures that are separated from one another by a gap, as well as a second gas distributor positioned above the first gas distributor. Isolation gas from the second gas distributor may be flowed down onto the first gas distributor and through the gaps in between the plenum structures of the first gas distributor, thereby establishing an isolation gas curtain that prevents the process gases released from each plenum structure from parasitically depositing on the plenum structures that provide other gases.

  • Patent number: 10476487
Abstract: An electronic comparison system includes input stages that successively provide bits of code words. One-shots connected to respective stages successively provide a first bit value until receiving a bit having a non-preferred value concurrently with an enable signal, and then provide a second, different bit value. An enable circuit provides the enable signal if at least one of the one-shots is providing the first bit value. A neural network system includes a crossbar with row and column electrodes and resistive memory elements at their intersections. A writing circuit stores weights in the elements. A signal source applies signals to the row electrodes. Comparators compare signals on the column electrodes to corresponding references using domain-wall neurons and store bit values in CMOS latches by comparison with a threshold.

  • Patent number: 10475348
Abstract: The invention regards a method and a system for assisting a person in acting in a dynamic environment. At first, information on states at least two entities in a common environment is obtained. A future behaviour of each of the entities is then predicted based on the obtained information and a time to event for at least one predetermined event involving the at least two entities and a position of occurrence of the event relative to the person is estimated. Then, a signal indicative of the relative direction of the predicted event with respect to the person and indicative of the time to event for driving an actuator is generated, the signal causing a stimulation being perceivable by the person by its perceptual capabilities, wherein the time to event is encoded such that the signal's saliency is the higher the smaller the time to event is.

  • Patent number: 10476524
Abstract: A method and apparatus is described for assigning columns of an LDPC H matrix to a plurality of decoding logics for efficient decoding of codewords. The rows of the LDPC H matrix are evaluated in a number of different orderings, and for each row in each ordering, a number of columns containing non-zero circulants are determined that cannot be evenly distributed to a plurality of decoding logics. As each row is evaluated, one or more columns of the LDPC H matrix are assigned to temporary bins for storage. After the LDPC H matrix has been evaluated a plurality of times, the arrangement that resulted in the fewest number of “mismatched” columns is selected, and the columns of the LDPC H matrix that were assigned to the temporary storage bins for that particular row arrangement is used to assign the columns in the bins to the plurality of decoding logics.
