Abstract: A method for embodying a display cell with a counter-electrode contact pickup. Contact blocks 12 are separated from counter-electrode contacts 20 by passivation film 22. The electrodes linked between the counter-electrode and the contacts 20 are obtained by calcining the glue of the blocks so as to render them conductive by using a laser beam 30. In addition, the passivation film 22 is perforated by using the laser beam 30. This method finds particular application in the embodiment of liquid crystal display screens.

Abstract: A type of electronic circuit, called an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), is used to customize the functions in a semiconductor chip as defined by a user. ASIC includes a microprocessor, functional inputs and outputs, connection circuits, electronic gates, inhibition gates and links to perform "application specific" operations. The user chooses the functions and the arrangement of the various connection circuits from a menu of predetermined functions. Once the ASIC has been defined by the user, it is ready for manufacturing.

Abstract: A solenoid valve comprising an electromagnetic coil (6) wound on the hub of a bobbin (5) of a plastic material, a metallic central core (10) disposed in the hub (7) of the bobbin, the core forming an axial conduit, and an armature (15) which can be displaced by electromagnetic forces axially towards an end of the said axial conduit in order to control the flow of gas in the said conduit. To this end a thread (11) is formed on the outer surface of the core to cooperate with the inner surface of the hub for the purpose of adjustment of the axial position of the core with respect to the armature.
Abstract: A device for separating a stack of sheets in an office machine such as a simile machine, comprising an extractor roller (18), a presser member (14) pressed resiliently in the direction of the roller, and a stop (5) limiting the maximum distance between the extractor roller and the presser member. The stop is mounted so as to slide inside a supporting part (1) in the direction of the presser member. A spring pushes the stop toward the presser member, and a locking collar (11, 12) limits its sliding distance. The presser member is mounted on the supporting part so as to provide an integral device, improving reliability and reducing assembly time.

Abstract: The invention relates to a magnetic drive device enabling a member placed one side of a non-magnetic wall to be driven by a rotary drive shaft placed on the other side of the wall. Abstract: A circuit for measuring variations in the capacitance of a variable capacr forming part of a sensor includes an oscillator which generates an alternating signal which is supplied to two branches of a detection bridge. The first branch includes the variable capacitor connected in series with a variable capacitance diode. The second branch includes a capacitor connected in series with a variable capacitance diode. A differential stage has each of its in puts connected to the common point of a respective one of the branches. Synchronous demodulation means connected to the oscillator, are connected to the output of the differential stage for delivering a DC unbalance voltage Ve which is injected by a feedback line to the common point of the first branch, thereby continuously balancing the detection bridge.

Abstract: A method of assembling a mechanical part on a support includes making a projecting thickening situated substantially over a connection face of an anchor block of the part; depositing a layer of one of the components of a eutectic on at least one fixing zone of the support; using a tool for holding the thickening to move the part so that its connection face co-operates with the fixing zone of the support; raising the temperature of the eutectic point of the eutectic; exerting localized force on the thickening; and simultaneously subjecting the part or the support to mechanical stresses. The invention is particularly applicable to assembling a capacitive sensor. The invention is also directed to a mechanical part for carrying out the assembly method, as well as a tool for grasping the mechanical part.

Abstract: A method and assembly for installing a plurality of ignition coils (12) on an engine block. The invention includes molding a housing (1) from an electrically insulating material. The housing having a plurality of receptacles (4) for the coils and including inserts for attachment of the housing to the engine block. The coils are placed in receptacles with appropriate wiring, and the connections (23, 24) of the receptacles are connected to the primary and secondary windings of the coils. When all connections are made, an electrically insulating resin (25) is poured into the housing which embeds the coils and their cable connections. Finally, the housing is fixed on the engine block with the appropriate receptacle properly aligned with its respective sparkplug.

Abstract: A dial needle is mounted on a drive shaft of a measuring instrument. The dle includes a body and a support, both mounted on the drive shaft.
