Abstract: A method for measuring a quantity of coffee MNi or MTi that a grinding burr of a coffee mill driven in rotation by a motor dispenses in a predetermined number of revolutions Ni of the grinding burr or in a predetermined time interval Ti. According to the method: the average speed Vi of the grinding burr in a number of revolutions Ni or respectively in a time interval Ti is measured; and the quantity or mass MNi of coffee dispensed in the number of revolutions Ni or respectively the mass MTi of coffee dispensed in the time interval Ti is deduced as a function of the speed Vi from an experimentally obtained stored correspondence table (Vi, MNi) or (Vi, MTi).
Abstract: A method for counting the number of revolutions of a burr of a coffee mill driven in rotation by an electric motor. According to the method: at least one electrical parameter Pi of the motor that varies in proportion to the speed of said motor is measured in a regular time interval Ti; the speed Vi in each time interval Ti is calculated from the parameter Pi based on an experimentally obtained relation; and the number of revolutions Ni made by the burr in each time interval Ti is calculated from the speed Vi determined.

Abstract: Provided is a method for frying food that comprises mixing said food with a fatty material in a cooking housing in association with the ventilation of said cooking housing and the heating of said cooking housing heating means capable of heating by radiation. The method comprises limiting the exposure of the food to the radiation of the heating means during an initial food drying and cooking step, and increasing the exposure of the food to the radiation of the heating means during a following food colouring step. The cooking apparatus comprising a cooking housing associated with food mixing means, with heating means capable of heating by radiation and with ventilation means, and to means for modulating the exposure of the food to the radiation of the heating means.
Abstract: An automatic dispenser for ground coffee composed of a reservoir for grounds, the reservoir having a bottom provided with an outlet opening, rotatable dosing paddles at the bottom of the reservoir for dispensing a predetermined quantity of ground coffee through the outlet opening; a drive cone having rotatable blades disposed above the dosing paddles and adapted to be rotated about a vertical axis by a motor assembly, and a mixer in the form or a pyramid disposed above, and forming an extension of, the drive cone. An automatic coffee maker equipped with this dispenser.
Abstract: The invention relates to a mold (1) for producing a batter-based food that swells under heat, which mold (1) comprises two cooking subassemblies (2, 3) capable of moving between an open position enabling the batter to be deposited and a closed position in which they define a cooking chamber, in which each cooking subassembly (2, 3) includes a cooking plate (4, 5), with the lower cooking plate (4) comprising a peripheral wall that delimits the cooking chamber and extends above the median plane of said chamber. According to the invention, the peripheral wall includes, on a discharge portion (11), a lowering forming an opening enabling an excess of expanding batter to be discharged, in which the discharge portion (11) extends vertically at least to the median plane of the cooking chamber.
Abstract: Provided is an electrical cooking appliance with a case (10) forming a cooking container with a vat closed by a pivoting cover (12) mounted on case (10); cover (12) includes a joint (21) forming a spout designed so that joint (21) includes a channel (40) which leads through an initial extremity into the spout and, through a second extremity, to near a condensate reservoir when cover (12) is raised.
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooking utensil of which the bottom wall comprises an even upper surface and a lower surface (1) comprising concave indentations (2). Each indentation (2) is constituted of two radial branches (3a) and of a central branch (4) connecting the two radial branches (3a).
Abstract: A cookware handle designed to be grasped by a user's hand, consisting of a rigid structure attached to the cookware and a flexible grip surrounding the rigid structure. The rigid structure contains at least one hollow cavity positioned directly underneath the grip, facing the hand support area.
Abstract: This invention relates to a heating article (1) comprising a substrate (2) of which one of the surfaces (21) is equipped with a design (4), in the form of a coating layer with at least one pattern (41, 42), which comprises a thermochromic pigment composition with at least one SC thermochromic pigment that is lipid-sensitive under heat. According to the invention, the thermochromic pigment composition includes at least one thermostable pigment and composite pigment grains (43), which each include a core (430) including the semiconducting thermochromic pigment, and a solid, transparent and continuous envelope (431), formed by a mineral or organomineral material. The thermochromic pigment composition shows a reversible change in colour in a thermal colour-change area with an amplitude of no more than 40° C. within the range of variation of said temperature T1 of use.

Abstract: A gripper for a removable lid of a kitchen utensil is provided, which can be fixed to a top of a lid through the action of a magnet on a magnetic component. The gripper comprises a base plate and an operating member that can move relative to the base plate between a magnetizing position in which the force exerted by the magnet on the magnetic component allows the gripper to be secured to the top, and an isolating position in which this force is not strong enough to secure the gripper to the top.
Abstract: The inventive waffle iron has two baking sub-assemblies pivotable with respect to each other from an open position and a closed proximate position in which they define a baking chamber. At any position of the baking sub-assemblies between the closed proximate position and the closed offset position thereof, wherein they are offset from each other by a product expansion, a peripheral element of a baking sub-assembly slides along a corresponding peripheral element of the other baking sub-assembly in such a way that the variable volume baking chamber is formed.
