  • Patent number: 5816726
Abstract: A hair removal wax application system is composed of an applicator (1) comprising a tank (8) designed for accommodating a volume of hair removal wax (20). The tank (8) has an opening (14) at least partially closed by a distribution ring (7, 9) for the wax (20). There is a seat (2) on which the applicator (1) can be placed. The applicator (1) can be disconnected from the seat (2) in order to be used as a self-contained apparatus when applying molten wax (20) on the zone to be depilated. A heater melts the hair removal wax (20) in the applicator's (1) tank (8) and is supplied with electric current from the seat (2). The heater is an inductor (4) rigidly connected to the seat (2) and an armature (6, 18, 19) connected rigidly to the distribution ring (7, 9). The distribution ring (7, 9) is rotatable in the tank (8) and has a diameter between 60 and 95% of the greatest internal dimension of the tank.

  • Patent number: 5809630
Abstract: A culinary vessel is made from two sheets of different metals or alloys laminated together and stamped to form a vessel having a bottom and a side wall. The bottom incorporates small stamped cavities such that the cavities formed in the outer sheet enter complementary cavities formed in the inner sheet. This strengthens the bond between the two sheets.

  • Patent number: 5800869
Abstract: In a method of applying a decoration to an object, at least one layer of enamel frit slip is applied to the object, after which, without curing this layer, a decoration based on enamel frit and mineral pigments is applied to localized areas of this layer in the form of a paste containing the enamel frit, the pigments and a binder that can be melted by application of heat or cross-linked by exposure to ultraviolet light. The paste is heated when it is applied to the enamel frit slip layer to melt the binder that can be melted by heat, after which the combination is cured to vitrify the enamel frit slip layer and the decoration.
