Abstract: A device for fixing a handle to a cooking vessel comprises a member fixed to the wall of the vessel and including an outwardly projecting central part surrounded by an exterior part whose surface adjacent the wall of the vessel espouses its curved profile. The lateral surface of the projecting central part has a shape matching the interior surface of the ferrule and is engaged in the latter. The front surface of the projecting part incorporates an opening extending outwards by a projecting flange. The interior surface of the opening is smooth. The screw for fixing the handle has a tapping thread that cuts a thread for itself in this opening.
Abstract: An accessory (9) integral with the blowing extremity (8) of a hair dryer (1). The accessory is traversed by the air blown out of the hair dryer to dry the hair. The accessory includes elements intended to be in contact with the hair, such as rigid bristles (11) or fingers (12). The accessory is composed of vibrating means (13, 14) which cause the elements (11, 12) to vibrate during hair drying.
Abstract: A steam appliance for treating and/or shaping hair, the appliance being composed of: a housing (1) having a handle; a roller body (2) for rolling up locks of hair, the body being secured at one end (5a) to the housing and being limited towards its other end by a partition wall (5b), the body including holes to pass steam produced by a steam production member and conveyed to the roller body (2) by a steam delivery member (20); and a clamp (10) for clamping a lock of hair on the roller body (2). The steam delivery member is a tubular element (20) mounted coaxially inside and extending along the roller body (2) from an inlet (20a) situated in the housing to a terminal end remote from the inlet, the element (20) including at least one steam delivery orifice (21) situated at its terminal end in such a manner as to convey an inlet flow of steam inside the tubular element (20) substantially along its entire length to be released in the vicinity of the partition wall (5b) via the orifice (21).
Abstract: A toasting or heating appliance, particularly an electrical food toasting or heating appliance such as a toaster, including a housing (1) with a fixed toasting subassembly (5) and a movable toasting subassembly (6) moved by a holder (20) to form a variable-width toasting slot (7), the holder (20) including two side arms (21, 22) rotatably mounted at their ends on the housing (1), a bread rack (15) axially movable in the slot, and a control handle (16) which controls the movement of the movable bread rack (15) and is combined with an actuating member (19) for causing relative movement of the two subassemblies (5, 6), wherein the appliance further includes at least one stabilizing arm (30) arranged behind the movable subassembly (6) and connected to the back thereof via a first hinge (31), as well as to the housing (1) via a second hinge (32).

Abstract: A safety device for automatically limiting the pressure in a container, which container is composed of a pot and a lid. The device is constituted by a seal member interposed between the pot and the lid to form a seal between the pot and the lid, the seal member having an annular form with an interior surface and an exterior surface and being provided with a recess in the exterior surface along a portion of its length. The recess creates a reduced cross section of the seal member for permitting a deformation of the portion under the action of pressure in the container, starting from a predetermined pressure value, to assure a break in the seal between the pot and the lid and depressurization of the container. The weakened cross section is formed by a combination of the recess in the exterior surface and at least one recess in the interior surface of the seal member.
