Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a method and system for generating a container image. A computing system receives a request from a remote computer to provision a container comprising a machine learning model. The computing system generates a first API accessible by the remote computer. The computing system receives one or more parameters for the container via the API. The one or more parameters include a machine learning model type. The computing system retrieves from a library of a plurality of machine learning models a machine learning model corresponding to a type of model specified in the one or more parameters. The computing system generates a container image that includes the machine learning model. The computing system provisions a container based on the container image.

Abstract: The growth factor profile, connective tissue matrix constituents, and immunoprivileged status of urodele extracellular matrix (ECM) and accompanying cutaneous tissue, plus the presence of antimicrobial peptides there, render urodele-derived tissue an ideal source for biological scaffolds for xenotransplantation. In particular, a biological scaffold biomaterial can be obtained by a process that entails (A) obtaining a tissue sample from a urodele, where the tissue comprises ECM, inclusive of the basement membrane, and (B) subjecting the tissue sample to a decellularization process that maintains the structural and functional integrity of the extracellular matrix, by virtue of retaining its fibrous and non-fibrous proteins, glycoaminoglycans (GAGs) and proteoglycans, while removing sufficient cellular components of the sample to reduce or eliminate antigenicity and immunogenicity for xenograft purposes.

Abstract: The most challenging problems in karyotyping are segmentation and classification of overlapping chromosomes in metaphase spread images. Often chromosomes are bent in different directions with varying degrees of bend. Tediousness and time consuming nature of the effort for ground truth creation makes it difficult to scale the ground truth for training phase. The present disclosure provides an end-to-end solution that reduces the cognitive burden of segmenting and karyotyping chromosomes. Dependency on experts is reduced by employing crowdsourcing while simultaneously addressing the issues associated with crowdsourcing. Identified segments through crowdsourcing are pre-processed to improve classification achieved by employing deep convolutional network (CNN).
Abstract: Systems and methods for digital signal processing are provided. A method includes mapping a symbol in a pulse sequence by using a pulse width and a pulse start in the symbol, reading a message using a symbol value for each symbol in a string of symbols, and modifying a drilling configuration according to the message. A device configured to perform the above method is also provided.
Abstract: A vehicle monitoring system, includes a vehicle database, which includes information associated with a plurality of vehicles. The vehicle monitoring system also includes a sensor database, which includes information captured by a sensor of an observing vehicle, and one or more processors. The one or more processors may generate a request to determine information associated with a target vehicle and to transmit the request to the sensor in response to determining that the information captured by the sensor does not include the information associated with the target vehicle. The sensor captures the information associated with the target vehicle based at least in part on the request. The one or more processors may also receive and store the information associated with the target vehicle from the sensor. Further, the one or more processors may output the information associated with the target vehicle to a computing device.

Abstract: The present disclosure addresses the technical problems faced by a basic user or an emergent user while using a smart phone. For the basic users it is difficult to identify the threat on the smartphone. A system and method for enhancing the security features of a smartphone has been provided. Initially, the system classify the user of the smartphone as the basic user or non-basic user using a series of questions. The proposed method is only applicable to the basic user archetype. The present disclosure further describes the method for simplification of an information architecture and multimodal communication of the threats on the smartphone for a basic user archetype or emergent users. Specifically, this disclosure bridges the information communication gaps between the basic archetype user and the information system by surfacing the risks and optimizing their information hierarchy.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for state sensing and controlling of a multi-state drug delivery device. In some embodiments a power switch is reused as a state sensor. Optionally the state sensor may be toggled by user actions and/or the movements of parts of the device, for example needle and/or a protective element. Optionally, drug discharge and/or status indication is controlled in accordance with sensor output. In some embodiments control is by means of a processor. Alternatively or additionally, control is by means of simple physical circuits.
Abstract: Hydrajetting assemblies provide data communication and the ability to jet abrasive fluid at pumping rates exceeding the abrasiveness rating of downhole devices. A hydrajetting tool includes jetting nozzles to jet a fluid into a subterranean formation. A capillary to house a data communication line is positioned along the housing of the tool. The communication line in run through the capillary and couples to a downflow sensing device having a fluid flow prevention device thereon. During perforating, the fluid flow device is closed, thus causing the pressurized abrasive fluid to jet out the nozzles. Since the sensing device is positioned downflow of the hydrajetting tool, the abrasive fluid may be pumped at a rate exceeding the abrasiveness rating of the sensing device. Also, real-time data may be communicated from the sensing device using the communication line.
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for identifying passenger trips on a transportation network are described. The method includes acquiring transaction data for a collection of passengers boarding at stops on a transportation network. The network includes a plurality of routes. Route sequences are identified, based on the transaction data, each route sequence including at least two trip segments by a passenger. Each pair of trip segments of an identified route sequence are spaced by a transfer. For each identified route sequence, using a trip planner, the route sequence is classified as a multi-segment trip that includes at least one transfer or a multi-trip journey. A route sequence which is classified as a multi-trip journey is partitioned into at least two trips, each trip being a multi-segment trip or a single-segment trip.

The method includes: obtaining physiological information of a user of a wearable device; comparing the obtained physiological information against a stored physiological profile, wherein the stored physiological profile is built up over time from obtained physiological information; and, based on the comparison, updating a confidence parameter indicating the extent to which the obtained physiological information matches the physiological profile.
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for providing guest parking reservations are provided. Motor vehicle parking spaces located in a residential area are managed through a server. Smart parking devices and vehicle occupancy sensors that are each physically proximate to least one of the parking spaces are interfaced to the server. Use of one of the parking spaces for a guest of a resident of the area is reserved. A request for a reservation is accepted and that the resident is eligible to reserve the space is confirmed. The request is granted provided the parking space is available over any other reservations in the server. Use of the parking space is managed. Occupancy of the parking space by a vehicle is sensed through the nearest sensor. An identity of a motorist is verified through the nearest parking device. The use of the parking space is denied if not by the guest.
